We only had two nights at La Compañía and that was our biggest mistake - we wish had stayed for longer.
There are three wings with differently themed rooms: French, Spanish, and American. We stayed in the Spanish (pictured) but had a friend in the French (we liked the Spanish more, but both are beautiful).
We'll move from the outside-in: the location is great. It's central in Casco Viejo - traffic can be slow, so getting in/out can be tricky with Uber - but walking around you're in the heart of it all. The building, lobby, and courtyards were beautiful and well maintained.
Every person we interacted with was happy, helpful, and attentive.
The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The water pressure was excellent and the layout made sense (if you've been to some bad hotels, you get it).
The restaurants were fun to explore - breakfast is a MUST. The pool was perfect for a relaxing afternoon, which you should make time for.
If you're on the fence, get off it and book a room.
