Hotel La Corte del Sole

We spent a week here and ate in the restaurant every night as the food was so good and the menu changed frequently. The hotel is spotless and the staff could not have been more helpful and offered us advice on where we should go and what we should see. If we visit Sicily again we would certainly return.

From the moment we arrived and were offered chilled water with fresh mint and lemon, from their grounds, I knew we were in for a treat. There are so many good things to write about this hotel - the comfortable rooms, the great breakfast served with welcoming smiles and a view across the valley towards the sea, the peaceful pool area and its location. It is a short drive from Noto and some lovely beaches. We enjoyed Lido di Noto, La Marchesa and San Lorenzo.|But here’s the thing - the people who work here are all the loveliest, friendliest, most helpful you can imagine. They work tirelessly to make sure your holiday is a good one.|And for this, we are thankful and look forward to returning.|Grazie mille.|Chris, Elena, Igor and Tabby.

We stayed here for four nights in April/May with our grown children and grand-baby. The staff were helpful and friendly, the food was delicious and the property itself was very pretty. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. It was a quiet and relaxing home base for our day trips to Noto, Siracusa and Ragusa. We really enjoyed this resort and our one year old grandson has developed quite a love of eggplant and pasta thanks to the wonderful dinners we enjoyed here!!

Wonderful location in the middle of the countryside with unspoiled views in all directions. Enjoyed the bird song every morning! Staff were a joy and couldn't have been more accommodating and willing to please. Restaurant was excellent and affordable with a new specials menu every day. We also enjoyed the swimming pool bar which served drinks and lovely salads. Walking distance to several stunning beaches-|Eloro ( 15 minutes walk) wild and we practically had the beach to ourselves! Recommend taking an umbrella as no shelter.|Lido de Notto ( 30 minutes walk or free transfer from hotel) Equally lovely beach and swimming but with additional sun loungers and restaurants.|We didn't have a car and transfer from hotel to Noto is quite pricey so would recommend hiring a car if you want to explore the local towns as no bus services nearby. Thoroughly recommend La Corte del Sole for a truly relaxing Sicilian holiday.

We had a wonderful week here! The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff were amazing, so attentive, hard working and friendly. We ate in the restaurant on 4 occasions and the food was delicious! My husband especially enjoyed the sicilian fillet steak. Our only small issue was it did advertise a shuttle bus on the website but this wasn't available during our stay which meant for us we did lots of walking or paid for taxis as the location is very remote.|That being said we would visit again in a heart beat, especially for the magnificent breakfast which filled you up for the day!

Loved this hotel in rural Noto. It felt like an oasis of calm in beautiful countryside. The rooms were spacious and cool (though I feel the aircon may struggle in major heat). The pool was welcome after a day sightseeing. Breakfast was pleasant, but a bit lacking in choice. We ate in the restaurant on one evening, which was really good though some of the flavour combinations didn't quite work.

A wonderful hotel and very welcoming team! The place is beautiful and extremely calm and relaxing. While a car is rather necessary, the views, the lovely staff and calm setting made this trip unique. Very highly recommended.

A wonderful little hotel (from a converted masseria) that is very central to the Noto region. Le Muse is a phenomenal restaurant open for dinners (we ate there 3x during our 1 week stay). Breakfast buffet is delicious with fresh pastries, fresh squeezed orange juice from their own trees, ham, salami and fresh fruit salad. You can also order eggs. Nice pool to relax (with a poolside bar where you can order drinks, snacks) after a day of site-seeing in the area. Staff are very friendly (helped us make reservations, suggestions for activities), rooms cleaned daily, AC works great and tons of free parking. ||Lots of stairs in the masseria, so be aware if you have accessibility issues and the driveway is in rough shape to enter the property. No gym but we were doing >20k steps/day site-seeing so we didn’t miss it. ||Very good value for money. Would highly recommend if you’re visiting the Noto area.
