Hôtel la Diligence

We had the most enchanting stay at Hôtel la Diligence — a place that truly feels like the heart of the Christmas spirit. Its location is nothing short of magical: right on the city square where the Christmas market comes to life. From our window, we gazed out at the charming Church of Saints Peter and Paul and the twinkling lights of the market — it was like waking up inside a festive fairytale every morning. The hospitality was wonderful. Emilie — along with everyone else — made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Breakfast was a delightful way to start the day: fresh, generous, and full of flavor. And then there was the sweetest surprise — the adorable hotel dog greeting us in the lobby with a joyful tail wag, as if we were old friends returning home. It became one of our favorite moments each day. Hôtel la Diligence is more than just a place to stay — it’s an experience wrapped in charm, kindness, and festive magic. We would eagerly return in a heartbeat… especially during Christmastime, when it feels like the whole world outside your window is sparkling.

Excellent hotel. Very comfortable rooms. Nice walk in shower. Nuxe body wash. Good breakfast. Excellent customer service. I definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area. I did not particularly like the underground parking garage as the spots were very small and we had an SUV, so we parked in the free parking lot a few minutes away from the hotel. Hotels in a very good location.

A beautiful boutique hotel with friendly welcoming and very professional staff. Great comms from the point of booking. Outstanding location, charming building, well sized rooms, elegantly equipped to a modern standard that keep their ancient character. Wonderful breakfast that should suit all tastes and appetites. I hope to return soon and will recommend that others stay. You should too

Amazing hotel in the very center of Obernai. Highlights : dog friendly (even with a stick for dogs as welcome gift! ) Very central Healthy and gourmet breakfast (includes pastries from Michelin Star restaurant Thierry Schwartz close by ! ) Nice lunch offer ; easy going Very quiet and comfortable bed

Thoroughly recommended. Situated in the heart of Obernai, this Hotel is delightful. The rooms are a good size, extremely clean and a very comfortable bed. The staff were extremely helpful, and breakfast was outstanding. We are already planning our next stay.

Absolutely WONDERFUL hotel in the heart of Obernai! Staff could not have been more accommodating, professional, and lovely. Remy, the house Cocker Spaniel, adds so much love as well! The beds were SO comfortable and the shower was great. We absolutely LOVED our 4 nights in Obernai.

Awesome hotel for my short business trip. Nice location within Obernai, immediately in close range of restaurants, bakery, sushi. A tip for someone new here, there is a private parking available. Breakfast is nice and I had a nice view of the during my breakfast to start my day off nicely.

We had a perfect experience at Hotel la Diligence! The staff were friendly and accommodating with our request for a reservation the day of arrival and a last-minute upgrade to a larger room. The room was comfortable, quiet, and spacious. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. The gym is small but does the job for a short stay. And the location right on the main plaza was perfect for walking anywhere in the village. We can't wait to return to Obernai and the Hotel la Diligence!
