Hotel La Floresta Salento

Well located in a quiet less congested part of the town but a short walk (less than 10 mins) to the Plaza with all the restaurants and shops. Very friendly and helpful staff. Massage available on site. Efficient laundry service. Good breakfast. Secure parking, but only for three (small) cars. We stayed in a "suite," a large room with windows on two sides with nice views of the scenic town and countryside. Well worth the nominal extra cost.

The staff is wonderful and very courteous. The hotel itself isn't super new, but the rooms and washrooms are renovated and are cozy. The cleaning crew also does a great job in keeping the room tidy. There is a gym included which is in good condition. Breakfast is on the rooftop and is freshly made and is delicious! You get to enjoy it with an incredible view of the mountains surrounding Salento!

We love the hotel, is very clean and has a great service from the staff! The breakfast was good and the dinning area has a beautiful view ..!! Has parking .

We visited this hostal as a family. Our first disappointment was at the front desk. A male individual received us and complete a transaction disregarding eliminating the IVA (local tax) as I didn't have with me a foreign passport. My daughter (12 y/o) had her foreign passport and the reservation was made out of the country. The credit card used had my first and last name from the reservation. Because I'm born Colombian, this individual refused to check me in as a living individual in a foreign country. It shows that the hostal wanted to cash at my expense a local tax. The hostal is very simple, rooms are basic, bathrooms are small and bkfast is nothing special. The hostal is cleaned and dinning staff were kind. It is 450 m distance from the town center. It was totally unfair how the front desk male individual treated us. I dont recommended it.

Everything great!! I would definitely book it again. It's in a great location because it's a bit outside the center which means it's more quiet + it's walking distance from some of the coffee tours of the areas. |Very good breakfast! it's organized in 3 different options and you can enjoy it at the rooftop with a beautiful view of the valley. ||They have a small SPA inside: do it!!! you won't regret it. If i had time, I'd have done it twice||The personnel is so so nice and they've been helping us so much with our check in. We had a flight cancelled and they managed to re-organize the transfer (I suggest to take it and ask for Hernán if possible) and they removed the night we didn't spend there.

Very nice hotel off the busy centre of Salento. Simple but satisfying breakfast, wellness and spa in the hotel, a relaxing massage was very good after a day of 15km walk.

Very nice Hostel! Best thing are the girls at the reception who support you with any questions you have and give great recommendations on what to do in Salento!

My stay here was extremely relaxing and the staff made sure we were well looked after. The breakfast was great. I also did a private tour of the cocora valley due to some health concerns. I booked it through the hotel and the service was great. My guide was highly informative and knew all about the history along with providing great insight to all the plant life there. He was very attentive to my needs and made sure I did the trek at my own ease. He was very pleasant and also made me try some of the local food and fruits which was great. I also got a massage there which was amazing. No issue with hot water either and the place was very clean.
