Hotel la Floridiana Capri

Everything is great, the fabulous service is what really makes it, followed by great food and beautiful views. The Maître d' made everything perfect and above our expectations. A very warm welcome followed by wonderful service for the whole of our stay. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. Breakfast included cooked options (sweet and savoury) as well as a cold buffet already with warm pastries. We had a sea view room which was spacious with a very comfortable bed and balcony with loungers and table and chair, and of course gorgeous sea and sunset views. We enjoyed the pool (even in November!) and appreciated the cleanliness of it, like the rest of the hotel. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay!

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for our honeymoon and it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, warm, and eager to help. Unfortunately, our luggage was lost during travel, but the team went above and beyond to ensure it was tracked down and arranged for it to be delivered to our next hotel—such a relief during what could have been a stressful situation! They also recommended Pulalli restaurant for dinner, and it was an absolute highlight—delicious food with an unforgettable view over the center of Capri. Every morning began with an amazing breakfast and panoramic views that were simply breathtaking. The setting, the service, and the attention to detail made our honeymoon truly special. We can’t thank the team enough and would return in a heartbeat!

La Floridiana is a wonderful place to stay in Capri. Its location is perfect, just a short walk to the main plaza and other popular spots. It is still tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful. The pool area is beautiful, quiet, and very well maintained, with attentive poolside service that made it even more relaxing. Breakfast was a highlight, not just because the food was delicious, but Antonio’s warm hospitality and attention made each morning feel special. At reception, Martina was exceptional, helping us with restaurant recommendations and plans throughout our stay. She was patient, kind, and incredibly attentive. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again.

La Floridiana was truly a pleasure to visit. The dashing direttore di sala, Antonio , was charming, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable. He took amazing care of us during our stay, making perfect wine pairing suggestions and ensuring that we had all the information we needed to fully enjoy Capri. Food in the hotel was amazing, and the included breakfast was spectator, as well as the atmosphere. We planned to stay only one night, that turned into two in large part due to Antonio and company. |The location is amazing. A short walk through a pedestrian only area where you walk by villas and gardens. The view from the restaurant and our room was unrivaled. |Quiet, clean, and private, we always felt like we had the place to ourselves. November is a fantastic time of year to visit, worth every penny. Thank you La Floridiana!!!

First time in Capri and it didn’t disappoint! First time staying at La Floridiana and what an amazing place! From the moment we checked in with welcome drinks and a guide from Claudia to places of interest around the island we felt at home instantly! Our upgraded room, as a gesture to our 40th wedding celebrations was beautiful, with floral tiled floors and an exquisite sea view. The whole staff including reception, restaurant, kitchen, poolside and cleaners work as a family team to ensure all needs are met. A special mention to Antonio whose efficient, energetic and charming personality embody the ethos of the hotel. We would 100% recommend this gem of a hotel to future Capri visitors Sue and Andy Henderson

We capped off a 10-day trip to Italy with two nights at La Floridiana in Capri, which turned out to be a fabulous decision. We were warmly welcomed by Antonio—who was the most charming and hospitable person we encountered during our multi-city visit—with complimentary drinks at the dining area, which has a gorgeous view. While waiting for our room to be ready, we were surprised with a complimentary room upgrade that included a jacuzzi and a “partial sea view” (emphasis on “partial”, but we were grateful nonetheless, and enjoyed the jacuzzi after some poolside time). The room was very spacious (included a small sitting area with an upholstered loveseat) and clean and gave old world charm, not chain hotel vibe. The included breakfast was very nice, offering made-to-order eggs, crepes, french toast options with a generous buffet of pastries, fruit, yogurt and cereals. Antonio was on duty in the mornings as well as in the evening, always warmly greeting us and seemingly indefatigable. The pool area was beautiful with an amazing view of the sea and very nicely appointed. Pool towels were scratchy, but it was the end of the season, so maybe they were due for replacement. Location was great. A short walk from shopping and the main plaza, but tucked away from the group tours. Not ideal for anyone with accessibility issues, but as Americans—thanks to our laws — we are fortunate to have a different approach to disability access; overall, Italy is not great for people who have mobility challenges. In-room mini-fridge, safe, extra blanket were helpful amenities. Towels were decent quality-no washcloths were provided. Soaps, shampoos were unremarkable-did not give a luxury feel. Hair-drier was hardwired in the bathroom, making it harder for two people to get ready at the same time. WiFi was free but signal in our room was not good-kept dropping and very weak. Concierge was helpful and offered good advice on getting around. This was end of season, and a nearby hotel on Capri had already closed, so it was pretty quiet-hard to say what it is like during peak All in all, this was a truly lovely place to stay.

We had a great stay at Hotel LA Floridana! Check-in was easy, even got a complimentary welcome drink and sandwich on the balcony while they were checking us in. Room was very clean with a great ocean view. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Antonio. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Highly recommend staying here.
