Hotel La Grisa

Beautiful hotel with wonderful service! We had a room on the top floor of the hotel and it was beautiful with vaulted ceilings, beams and stone walls. Parking was included and just a block down the street, so we were able to spend our evening exploring the town of Bale on foot and enjoying a delicious dinner nearby. Breakfast was a big spread, had lots of fresh options and was delicious. I wish we had stayed more than one night. It was our favorite stay of our entire 2 week trip. They did have an indoor pool, gym and a sauna, but we didn't have time to enjoy those.

What can I say except that we were completely positively surprised by this hotel. Admittedly, this was the smallest hotel we've stayed in, but that's exactly why the guest comes to the fore the most. From the beginning, everyone was very kind and smiling, ready to explain where everything was. The room was neat and adorable, charmingly stone with a view of the street and the hotel courtyard. Everything exuded a Mediterranean flair and we really liked the combination of modern and original condition of the building. As for cleanliness, I can freely say that everything is at a very high level, from changing towels daily, making the bed, replenishing what was used, and cleaning the room itself. The hotel's location is excellent, and Bale is an excellent starting point for other cities while you're there. We managed to tour Istria in all directions. We will definitely be back!

Great hotel. We were in town for a wedding and it did not disappoint. Rooms are a bit small, but we fit ok. Everything is clean and well maintained. Breakfast is super - the croissants are a dream come true. The beach is not close, but it is super clean and there is private access which was optimal for us.

Great hotel, comfy beds, everything is nice and clean, it has a small pool for some afternoon relaxation and refreshment in the evening. Rooms don’t have balconies, but there is a nice terrace on the first floor for smokers, and few nice bars in the town if you are a smoker. It would be nice if there is coffee maker in the room for early birds, because breakfast is from 7:30. Restaurant is excellent and the service is the best, both hotel and a restaurant. I hope I will have a chance to stay there again.

Great location to explore Istria by car. The hotel was meticulously clean and well thought out design. Wonderful indoor pool and sauna to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff were friendly and courteous.

Great hotel. This was our second time. We were in mid July and had a wonderful time. Nice small spa, sunny terrace, good breakfast. Big and nice room. Staff is very nice and friendly. Always ready to support! Thank you La Grisa!

The street view is very deceptive. Behind the doors is a charming hotel, attentive staff with a collection of rooms on different levels and a wealth of other amenities. There are well-appointed rooms with spacious bathrooms, a staffed-bar, a restaurant with an excellent reputation, a pool, and work-out area. Lots of attention to detail

Excellent small hotel in a lovely old town. Best quality of design, architecture and interior with really pleasant details. Small, but really enjoyable wellness.|Staff is five star! Super breakfast! We tried the restaurant|as well, it really worth a trip even from distance. ||Our superior room was below the roof (superior, literally) without elevator and the air condition in the room was a little noisy and close to the bed - these were not comfortable with a 7 month old baby so I would not recommend these rooms for families with babies or elderly. Baby cot is for extra 10€ per day although the room was not cheap either.||But all together we had a great time there and it’s a good place for exploring the western Istria.
