Hôtel La Guitoune

⸻||Beautiful location, but overall a disappointing stay. My breakfast order never arrived despite following the instructions, and when I asked at reception, no one knew anything. Ended up on the terrace with an almost empty buffet and unfriendly staff who made me feel like a bother just for ordering a latte macchiato. The room was also dusty, with cobwebs in the corners and dust-covered light fixtures. Such a shame, given how lovely the place could be.

Lovely check in Experience, such a warm welcome. Had a great dinner and everyone made us feel very welcome with our two dogs. 5 stars for pet friendly. Even bowls bed and treats :) Perfect location near the beach and forest for walks. Would come back for sure.

The hotel is charming with a very pleasant terrace, situated just across from the beach. We stayed in two cottages which are decently sized with a super comfy king sized bed and great shower. ||We had dinner and breakfast there, both very good. ||Check in and out was quick and easy. ||The cherry on top is their service. The staff are lovely. Warm, friendly and very helpful. Thank you so much guys, you were all amazing!||We will definitely stay there again when we visit Arcachon again (which in itself is fabulous!). Well worth a visit.

Reception staff is very helpful, trying to fulfil all wishes. Felt welcome when entering the hotel with the first step. I had a basic room with small balcony. All is very new and cleaned well. Only small thing: TV (very modern one) not connected with Internet and only French channels. That can be improved for International customers. Room very quiet, despite facing the street. Very exiting to taste breakfast buffet tomorrow :-)

This is a happy place definitely!!! Amazing design, you need to love colour and a cool atmosphere. The beds are the most conrad beds I have ever slept in, and I am traveling a lot. The team is extremely hospitable, you feel welcome all the time. The rooms are so nice and cosy, still spacious, we had a superior room. It’s kept in a 50s style. The breakfast was very nice, I read in the reviews before that it was not good, but I can not agree. This is a boutique hotel and offers a nice boutique breakfast, with fresh orange juice, fruits, Bread, cereals , eggs etc. The dinner was also great. Overall this hotel is a fantastic experience, we booked for one night and ended up staying three nights. And it is 2 Minutes walking from the beach - what else would you need.

Hotel Guitone is a thoroughly charming hotel. The rooms are large and well appointed. The staff is very attentive and service is excellent. The outdoor space is large, private and very comfortable seating. The food was excellent as well. And it is directly across from a large, beautiful beach.|This should be, at a minimum, a 3.5 star hotel!

Everything was perfect: the staff, the location right in front of the sea, the food and cocktails 😍 and of course the little love nest of the Guitoune rooms. Highly recommended! They were super accommodating with everything, it was very quiet and close to everything you’re looking for in the area.
