Hotel La Loma

Small Oasis to get a bird eye view of Miches. The food is good the staff is amazing and the price is reasonable . Close to the town and most all inclusive in Miches. Clean, and easy to get around. I will go there again and recommend the place to anyone visiting Miches.

A steep hill to get to it, and once at the top I accidentally parked in the private section. A male worker yelled at me in Spanish to move it, so I tried but it stalled. Receptionist yelled at me when I went in to communicate the situation (she kept cutting me off and wouldn’t make eye contact). I asked to speak to the manager to see if I could explain (since she didn’t let me talk). I then said I don’t want to stay here after-all. The views are stunning, the place is so empty of activity, I thought it was empty. Very quiet, and lovely pool which is awesome since the sea is a 5 - 10 min drive. It has a restaurant and an apartment attached (which is what I parked in instead of the hotel lot) 😑

Karin is a great host and made our stay unforgettable. Many thanks! The location on the top of a hill with its views is breathtaking. However, the rooms do not offer much comfort and the beds definitively need to be changed.

We dropped by hotel La Loma with intention of staying. However, we decided not to. I had a concern of cleanliness of the rooms and the firmness of the bed. We asked the front desk if we could see one of the rooms but were denied. The lady at the front desk suggested I look at the internet pictures instead. Who the hell says that in the service industry? That reminded me of the preceding reviews I read before arrival. As well, the town of Miches is under heavy construction since the entire infrastructure is under remodelling. We politely got in our car and drove another 100 Km to Bavaro. There we found over 1000 brand new options on Air BnB, at lower rates than Hotel La Loma. I suggest to wait until 2026 forward to visit Miches. Perhaps a new investor will purchase the hotel and re-train the personnel in tourism and customer service etiquete.

Well don't expect so much and you will be ok.||Remember this hotel doesn't take credit cards and only bank transfer or cash.|Impossible to do the reservation online so you have to call in.||My feelings regarding this place is at arrival I thought it was closed...|| The Staff is Rude! The lady at the front desk is not very nice, not very welcoming, don't expect flexibility or upgrade even if there is no one at the hotel. We were the only ones there.|She was not very help full, I even felt like we were bother them, and this hotel is pretty run down. It needs a lot of TLC. Pictures look great but hotel needs a lot or work.||This hotel is well situated and the sunset and sunrise is so beautiful.||The pool was clean ||The rooms are fine but very (basic) and clean|The view is spectacular, balconies are big and it's easy to find the place and close to everything. I felt pretty safe!||You can sleep with the patio doors open and nice breeze coming in at night.||We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant because there was no one there and it didn't catch my attention. ||Great place to enjoy for a night or two.

Very nice place to visit. It sits on top of a small mountain in Miches with a perfect view of the ocean. The food was very good the service was also good. Bathrooms were clean and the view is amazing. So when in Miches pay them a visit or maybe when in Punta Cana take the Drive up there and enjoy.

This is the nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was full of bugs. There was spider webs everywhere. Gum under the room table. Bathroom window was broken so all bugs would go in the bathroom. The floor was not clean. This place was just outright dirty. The beds are very hardThe pool needs to be maintained. the staff was so rude. The only thing worthy of staying here is the view. But everything else is horrible!!! It’s a shame the location has potential... Do NOT STAY HERE.

Me and My friend crossed Samana Bay on the Ferry to Sabana De La Mar, we were heading to Montaña Redonda (Round Mountain).||On our way back we stopped in Miches downtown and stayed for the night at Hotel La Loma.||The hotel is in a good spot, you get a view of the town and ocean or the mountains. It is amazing.||There is a swiming pool, and a restaurant, the atmosphere is awesome, The food is very very good, we enjoyed it.||The staff was very nice, specially Karin. There is also a security staff.||||The hotel is very quite, it feels like heaven, I slept better than in my own house, In the morning is so calm and you can hear the sound of the birds.... it is a unique place. Iam looking forward to go back soon.
