Still giddy about the gem of a hotel we got to experience this weekend.
Every detail was a delightful discovery - from the doors leading to the back garden, the art pieces on the walls, the silverware, the massive shower, the library full of books in various languages, the beautiful breakfast spread, to my personal favorite - the white slipcover armchair that I wanted to take home and make my own little nap nook.
It was the perfect balance between history and charm - that felt both elegant yet extremely inviting and homey.
The staff was very warm and helpful from the moment we arrived. Not to mention we had the most gorgeous beaches and coves less than 10 minutes away by car.
I saw some reviews about it being outdated, but personally I didn't find anything to be outdated at all. In fact, we wouldn't have loved it so much here if it had been more modern than it was - that is what gave the hotel its charm.
As much as I want to keep this place my own little secret, it would be doing such a disservice to this beautiful establishment! I highly recommend staying here, and I will most certainly be back. Thank you so much to Joaquin and the rest of the staff for making our short stay such a pleasant one.
