Positive: We liked it so much that we booked for a second night. The location is fantastic, next to the central market, the cathedral is just 5 min away. The backyard is silent. Perfect for people with limited walking abilities. Elevator, shower without a step, high toilet with handlebars next to it. The kitchen has everything you need. The reception was friendly and we even could reach on late evening. Perfect location, perfect room, perfect service. This is a true 10/10.. Negative: There is nothing we didn't like!.

Great hotel friendly check in. Free parking near by. Great views from the top rooms with excellent shared patio area. Breakfast basic but great range of different breads and again great personal service. Family run and made to feel welcome. Would stay again

We paid 50 euro in our last hotel with a beautiful shower and breakfast, then drove to tarifa, to start with next door has crane on roof as they seem to turn it into a hotel with sea view,so if you sitting on terasses enjoy, you either get burned no shade provided, or if sun is not there windsweeped , could be made beautiful up there, the room 90 euros worth of it, no soap or shower gel, pillow that once you lay down disappears, ended up with folding a towel up and put under it, the water proofing on top of mattress made a noise everytime you moved, YES I am 60 but do not wet my bed yet. Breakfast was so bad we did not bother with on day two, instead left early to the next hotel to eat there. Same price with half board buffet pool full balcony,||So tip of the day .......visit to tarifa yes stay tarifa no

Were there for two nights. The hotel is in a quiet street, very close to the port where ferries go to Tangier (about a 10-15min walk). Though it didn't have parking, we were able to find a spot on the street really close by, rather than parking at one of the few lots nearby. The staff was incredibly attentive and had offered to organize a tour to Tangier for us (however, we had already made our own arrangements). They also gave us a map with a lot of great recommendations to eat. Breakfast buffet was included in our rate and although it wasn't set to start until 9, they agreed to have breakfast ready for us earlier so that we could catch our ferry. Our room was a triple - consisted of three twin-size beds, a small closet, desk and TV and a tiny bathroom. But this is Europe, so not a big issue. However, our curtains had to be perpetually closed, as the window looked over to a terrace and a wall. Wish I had asked for a room with a view of the ocean! Still, we were able to go to the terrace on the top floor and enjoy it nonetheless.

Positive: The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially since we had a rental car and needed to find parking on the street. The location was excellent - close to the beach and within easy walking distance of the Old Town and the Port of Tarifa. Breakfast was included with great selection of bread for toasting, croissants, meat, cheese, yogurt, juice and coffee..

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. At check in the man operating the front desk was extremely aggressive and rude. When we asked him to calm down and mentioned that his behaviour was inappropriate especially towards women he told us "he doesn't care if he is talking to a dog or woman he can do what he wants". His behaviour was so aggressive and inappropriate that we did not feel safe and therefore canceled our booking on the spot.

Located about a five minute walk outside of the town walls in the midst of the beach community (wind surfing is huge here). Parking is usually available on the street. Nice sized rooms, excellent memory foam beds, new fixtures, nice bath. Lift. Superb view of the beach (5 minute walk) from the top floor deck. Would be a 5 star except for some ants in the bathroom. A/C. Great staff. Boats to Tangiers about a 10 minute walk away.

The hotel is located well in Tarifa, just a few minutes to the old town gates and 10 minutes away from the port. Parking is free if you are lucky enough to get a spot on the street, otherwise go further. Our room was big enough for a couple, clean and with a good size bathroom. A/C worked well during our stay, but you cannot sleep with the A/C on, because of the air flow that goes straight to your head. During the night we open the windows largely to get the cool sea breeze in.|Breakfast is doesn't shine at all. All in all, hotel La Mirada was for us that type of hotel that you'll pass next time.
