Hotel La Misión de Loreto

We stayed here for four (4 days) Last of May and first of June 2025. What a wonderful hotel. The staff, the restaurant and the bar area at the pool were outstanding. Although they had over sold our room request they did everything possible to satisfy our arrival and gave us a very nice room looking out onto the water. The best staff was Filiberto who was so very helpful at check in. He even helped get us in contact with a company to take us to the Isla Coronado which was very special. I can't rave at how helpful he was in all our needs. The pool was wonderful and the drinks were just the best. Food in the restaurant was the best and really enjoyed the servers from the waiters. We will be back and I would highly recommend the Hotel. You will enjoy it as much as we did......

This was our 4th time staying at La Mision! It never disappoints. The location is perfect… across the street from the marina and a block from the cute and quaint downtown. The hotel staff are so kind and helpful from the front desk to the restaurant servers to the cleaning crew. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. The pool was a good temperature and the jacuzzi was always hot. Pool bar and restaurant bar make delicious drinks. This hotel is special place!

Spending eight magical nights at Hotel LaMision Loreto was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped by warmth and genuine hospitability. The front desk staff set the tone for our stay, while the bar staff Javier being our indisputable favorite- made every moment memorable. The maids and kitchen staff also went above and beyond, ensuring we felt completely at home and cared for throughout our trip. As we reminisce about our extraordinary stay, we are already counting down to our next visit. Hotel La Mision Loreto has left an indelible mark on our hearts, and we cannot wait to return to this slice of paradise!

The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. Filiberto was awesome, arranging transportation from and back to the airport. He and his staff made our stay one to remember, including setting up excursions. We were with a large group celebrating a birthday and, I’m sure, a handful at times. The hotel is beautifully maintained and very secure. The rooms were comfortable with amazing ocean and pool views. The main restaurant was wonderful with a great breakfast buffet. The pool area was very relaxing and boasted a secondary bar and restaurant. The chef there made delicious thin crust pizzas in the pizza oven. We are looking forward to coming back.

We had a great 4-day stay at this wonderful hotel. The rooms could not be any better and the service, both room and check-in and restaurant, was so wonderful. Although they had oversold our special room they made up for it with the treatment that Filiberto gave us. Filiberta took very good care of us and helped with other activities and treated us as if we were family. Would highly rate this hotel and will most surely be back. This was our first visit to Loreto and we are so happy with our experience at La Mision! We arranged their airport shuttle service which was very easy and we really appreciated the short drive from the airport, which was the easiest Mexico airport we've ever experienced! The property is beautiful and immaculately clean. We had a corner, ocean view room on the third floor so lucky enough to have a beautiful view of both the mountains and ocean! The room was spacious, comfortable and decorated in great charm. The bed and linens were amazing! We learned quickly that the food and drink options at the property were fantastic, both delicious and reasonably priced. Recommend to tip in pesos or you'll need to request tip be added before they bring you the bill. All of the service was wonderful but especially had top notch service from Javier at the pool bar and Olivos, he is simply the BEST! Also wanted to mention that Angelica at the concierge desk was super helpful with making some tour arrangements for us. And the location of the hotel is perfect... a very short walk to the marina as well as the town plaza, which we were SO IMPRESSED by so many amazing restaurants throughout the area, so many options!! We aren't big on tours but so glad that we did the Coronada island tour organized by Angelica, was hoping to go fishing but there was high wind for several days. Also recommend the massage service at La Mision and Las Flores in the plaza. What we did learn is that the road along the malecon/hotel does get very noisy at times from loud car music, but honestly we came to enjoy that part of the local culture (just learned to close the patio door at night which helped alot). Also learned that the ATM machines gave you English option after you inserted your card. We are already planning our next trip back with our friends so they too can enjoy the wonderful sights, culture and people of Loreto!

Absolute epic way to end our week trip to Loreto. The elegant, clean, and welcoming environment of the staff was by far more than I expected. Our room had the most incredible sunrise where we could step out on the balcony and truly be sun kissed. The food was outstanding both for dinner and breakfast. Great anniversary getaway.

Angelica our concierge and staff was amazing. She handled all of our reservations, activities and even had my eye glasses fixed. We spent 3 days on the water. Whales, dolphins, rays, sails, rooster fish, snorkeling. Simply amazing. Do yourself a favor and schedule a full spa treatment for your last day. You won’t regret it. Los Olivos restaurant delicious and the live entertainment was very enjoyable. The pool bar staff kept the drinks coming! Don’t miss out!
