Hotel La Misión de Loreto

La Misión Hotel is truly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. We first visited back in 2009 when the hotel was brand new, and it’s even more stunning today. The property offers the perfect balance of luxury and tranquility — every detail encourages you to slow down and enjoy the serenity of Loreto. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Filiberto, the front desk manager, was especially accommodating and made sure we were completely comfortable throughout our visit. Marcel, the Bellman, greeted us with such enthusiasm and was eager to help us with our luggage — and even our Halloween dog beds! 🐾🎃 We traveled over 1,000 miles with our dogs to be here, and being upgraded to a third-floor beachfront room made it all worth it. The views were absolutely breathtaking — waking up to the ocean each morning truly felt like paradise. Loreto’s peaceful charm combined with La Misión’s impeccable service makes this a destination we’ll always want to return to.

We had a wonderful time! From check in to check out we had excellent service! The literal fastest room service I’ve ever experienced. We had a small issue with our shower head and it was resolved within 10 minutes! ||The concierge took great care of us in booking a boat tour, our massages, and a golf cart to tour the area. She also gave us great restaurant recommendations.||The pool side bar staff was also outstanding! The food was excellent and though I don’t typically go to Mexico to eat pizza, their wood fired pizza was the best I’ve had. Live music on Thursday was the cherry on top.||The hotel was also very clean. It seemed like the staff was constantly cleaning and keeping everything looking great. ||We have zero complaints other than we wish we would have booked a longer stay!||We’ll definitely be back.

My husband and I traveled to Loreto for a week of fun and sun and stayed at Hotel La Mision. This is our third trip there and every time Loreto gets better. The hotel NEVER disappoints. The staff are wonderful and have become like family. They are kind and caring and demonstrate the best in hospitality. The rooms and views are beautiful, the pool area is a perfect size, and the food and drinks are first rate. Loreto is an authentic Mexican town; it is so clean and safe. We cannot wait to return!

This was simply an amazing hotel that helped make our vacation a magical experience. Great food, amazing staff, gorgeous views, perfect location, very clean... I'm not someone who has stayed in many high end hotels over the years but I'm not sure how anyone could do it better.||We did have a couple small issues with the airport shuttle we pre-paid for (the shuttle wasn't there when we landed, and when we left the taxi driver seemed to think we owed him payment) but the hotel staff quickly took care of both problems for us. Everything else was perfect, though!

I visited La Mision earlier this month with my husband and two other couples. Everything exceeded expectations. The staff were amazing in all areas: the front desk, restaurant, bar, pool, housekeeping, etc. Everyone was so polite and friendly. The staff go out of their way to ensure a wonderful experience. The rooms are spacious, incredibly clean and quiet. La Mision is a beautiful and very well-run hotel. I will be going back!

This hotel is a slice of paradise. Wonderful staff welcome you with a smile. The rooms are comfy and clean offering amazing views of the bay. The pool is beautiful and refreshing. And the restaurant offers delicious meals from pizza, pasta to steaks and more!|Centrally located so walking through the beautiful, safe town is so easy.|Why aren’t you there already???? Go!!!!

This hotel is located next to the beach and marina. It’s walking distance from the Mision and central Loreto with many cafes, hotels and bars with lovely outdoor seating, mariachi and amazing food. The hotel has a great restaurant and very helpful staff. We arranged airport transportation and an excursion through the hotel and it was very efficient and a great experience. Highly recommended.

Exceptional hotel with top notch service and great ocean views. This was my second stay here, and it does not disappoint. Check in is a slow process (5-10 min per guest) but personalized. Rooms are very spacious.
