Hotel La Peña

😊: Staff, fantastic, clean, gardens and pool beautifully kept. Love it here. Been many times. Very tranquil. Flowers and garden really maintained. 😢: Unfortunately the mattress wasn't a normal mattress . It was one of those memory foam that sinks and no support. Hurt my back as the memory foam won't allow you to just roll over and move. I couldn't go back to that room because of it..

One of the best hotels I've stayed in tarifa, fantastic location, beautiful gardens and swimming pool area 👌 a short distance from the beach ⛱️ the rooms are spacious and same with the bathroom. Good air conditioning for keeping the room cool lovely seating area outside the room. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly boiled eggs 🥚 where delicious 😋 highly recommended 👌

So, we booked this place at the very last minute looking for a cheap place to crash, and were very pleased with the value for the money. The room was comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. It's a ways outside of the town so it's peaceful and quiet. Walls are a bit thin, so you hear the neighbors, and the plumbing is typical of this region in that yiu need to leave windows open for gases to escape.

La Peña is a very decent hotel, amids the greens and silence with a very coasy atmosphere. Rooms are small but clean and tidy, the beds are very comfortable and the AC works perfectly. The main kite beach is just a three minute drive away. I skipped breakfast as for me, it wasn’t worth €8. Would totally recommend La Peña when visiting Tarifa.

The room was clean and functional which was exactly what I needed. It is pet friendly as well. I really enjoyed the buffet style breakfast. The gardens where absolutely beautiful. The nicest gardens of any hotel I have been in and I have travelled in numerous countries.

Hotel La Pena is a tropical paradise located just a 5-minute walk from the ocean outside of Tarifa. You are completely surrounded by lush and beautiful gardens. They offer an amazing breakfast buffet, and you feel like you are eating in paradise. Highly recommend.

This is such a lovely little hotel to stay in & Just a short 10 minute walk to the fabulous Tarifa beach. The rooms are small but spotless, with views of the mountains. The grounds and up-keep on this fabulous little place is Imaculate. A beautiful swimming pool and bbq area for use and very welcoming staff, although limited English was spoken by them. I will definitely return again to this beautiful little retreat.

I stayed here for two nights and my room was small, but clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, with lots of ham/cheese and delicious local cured ham. There is a nice pool and garden which was very peaceful. On the down side, the management do not speak a word of English and my Spanish is very poor, so communication was difficult. In fact, I could not make the booking over the phone and had to get a Spanish speak friend to do it (they would/could not answer emails).
