This is an excellent FAMILY run hotel, 3 star hotel. It has kitchens on each floor too for guests to use. The dinner is really good and the chef is excellent. I loved my evening meal, breakfast is equally plentiful. The staff like cyclists and walkers too and the place is very accommodating for these types of travellers, there is ample bike storage in the garage down stairs, there is also laundry facility too, they give you a key to use the room. There is nothing to dislike and it’s a treat to be here for sure, there is a supermarket nearby and pharmacy too. If your cycling or motorbike or travelling then this is a hotel you can enjoy and it’s a good base for the area.

Small hostel close to the city center but a bit outside. Calm place for two nights. Staff very gentle, and ready to help. Bedroom clean and safe. Good value for money. And +++ for the restaurant. Breakfast or lunch/ dinner, you will enjoy. For 2/3 stars, job accomplished

We were very pleased with its small, sincere and friendly staff. The room and bathroom were large, there was a refrigerator in the room. It had a nice balcony. The hotel had a spacious garden and seating areas. The breakfast was nice. Recommended.

The hotel needs maintenance. Air conditioning does not work. Linoleum is bubbling up in hallways. The entire room smelt like a sewer from outgassing from the shower drain. Balcony doors open onto a noisy street. Slept very poorly, sweating all night long.

The room had everything we needed with a lovely big en suite bathroom. Although old fashioned, everything was clean. The bed was far too hard, after sleeping on my side, my hip was numb. Great location for the volcano Park.

The hotel itself was nice the staff were friendly and spoke english which made it easier for us. We booked this hotel for both a stop on the way to our destination and on the way back as it was half way roughly. ||We had a family room which was a nice size it had bunk beds and 2 twin beds pushed together. Unfortunately on the return journey the pillows did not smell clean one smelt of sick ( not the case but the actual pillow was strong so came though) the pillows were long so i shared with the children. ||The mattresses on the beds were a little hard but i suppose that could be down to personal preference. (i slept on a bunk bed) the room had air con though so was comfortable temperature. ||We were impressed by the kitchenette it had a microwave with oven feature and a fridge with a small freezer ideal to freeze up out iceblocks before the onward journey. ||The bathroom was clean and the hotel provide a baby bath tub as there is on a shower which was really useful as we travelled with a 8 month in tow. ||There is a little childrens area which the kids enjoyed by the family rooms. ||The only thing that put me off this hotel was there were lots of people hanging around the car park so it made it feel a little unsafe leaving the car there and was a worry. they were also riding their bikes inbetween all the cars and peering into the windows which was again very offputting leaving it outside. This would be the only thing that would put me off staying again.

We stayed here for one night on an InnTravel holiday earlier this week. ||This hotel feels like a downmarket Premier Inn. On the plus side, the rooms are large, have fridges, there is Bath as well as a shower and lots of space. On the downside it feels very corporate and non descript. ||The other reviews I've read suggest that this would be a good base for cycling, and I'd tend to agree. But as a nice hotel to stay on a walking trip I'd rate it lower - dinner was very average, the restaurant a bit like a Premier Inn cafeteria and no area I'd want to sit outside on and have a beer. ||Nothing special. If you're looking for quirky and boutiquey in the area there are lots more choices. But good if you want functional, cheap and friendly.
