Hôtel La Place

My wife and I recently did a short bike tour in southern France that included an overnight in Antibes. We are so happy we chose this hotel. It was a short, but perfect stay. The owner and her wonderful dog greeted us and gladly found room in the back to safely store our bikes. The room was very nice with plenty of amentities. It had a small balcony that looked right out onto an active and charming area. At first we thought there might be some noise at night, but that was not the case. Super quite all night. The next morning breakfast was as good and probably better than any hotel breakfast you will ever have. Our only regret was we only had one night booked in our plans. We hope to come back and stay again. We are normally AirBNB renters, but in Antibes this wonderful hotel is the La Place to stay!

I stayed at La Place Boutique Hotel for one night during a business trip, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were extremely helpful and responsive -- especially regarding my request for a late check-in, which we arranged easily through Booking. The hotel is beautifully designed, with cosy, tasteful interiors and a welcoming atmosphere. My room was spotless, comfortable, and elegant. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality. Highly recommend -- l'll definitely return!

Wonderful little hotel in a prime location in Antibes; great breakfast, perfect public transport connections for spending time on the Côte d'Azur. Restaurants and shops nearby, and it's quiet at night too. The hotel is very clean and the beds are very comfortable.

I really appreciated the welcoming environment this hotel had to offer. Every service member I interacted with was kind and helpful. I also loved that there was a dog to say hello to every morning!

Delightful small hotel. Rooms were not large but very well appointed, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was terrific with lots of choices and even though they don't have a true restaurant they serve up delicious light meals on the terrace. The location is on the edge of old town but you can be anywhere after a 10 minute stroll with lots of window shopping on the way. The staff were pleasant and helpful throughout our stay leading to one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had.

I booked online. The hotel was very old, outdated and dinghy. Did not look at all like the pictures online. It was smelly inside and all I could breathe was air freshener to cover up the odor. The girl at the front desk said no one could help us carry our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. I told her that this was not at all what I expected, as the pictures online were beautiful and the hotel did not look at all like the pictures. I told her that we are cancelling our stay due to false advertising and no one to help us carry our luggage to our room. I asked to be refunded and I was told no. I will take this up with my credit card company for false advertising

A quaint little hotel in a good location. It's in close proximity to the bus/train station and old town. Our room was a decent size, shower was good. My only comment regarding the room is that they need to maybe air it out, as it had a bit of a  musty smell...so we slept with the window open. Also, walking up stairs (no lift) to the 3rd floor was a struggle, especially if you have large luggage.... but we took it as our gym workout!! The breakfast buffet was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed one night, the room is a little small and no elevator. But a cute friendly dog, great service and good old town location.

This hotel is centrally located and run by some of the nicest hoteliers I've met. It is about a 15 minute walk to the train station and across from the bus station. The staff is eager to please and ensure that you have a pleasant stay. The first floor has a coffee bar and cafe (note that breakfast is not included). There are three floors of rooms, its funny because every review I've read says they stayed on the top floor, we did too. And yes - no elevator, but we needed to work off all the bread we were eating in France. The rooms are modern, very clean, and air conditioned. The bathroom is well sized and has heated towel bars. There is a phone, a safe, free wifi, and TV. In the morning, you awaken to not the sounds of buses as we feared, but church bells and birds. I highly recommend this hotel. It happens to also be a Rick Steve's pick.

I stayed here recently. I visit Antibes often and I've eaten at the restaurant at La Place, but this was the first time I stayed at the hotel. It had all the standard comforts one expects and everything worked. There's free wi-fi, but unfortunately I didn't realize that I should have gotten the password when I signed in. There was very good continental breakfast in the restaurant, for hotel guests, even on days that the restaurant is closed. The service was very good. The most impressive thing was the condition of the room and restaurant, the choice of decor and the cleanliness of everything. It was stunningly beautiful and clean and in excellent taste.
