Hotel La Posada de Numancia

Speaking for our group of 10 people, we can all vouch that our stay in “La Posada de Numancia” couldn´t have been better. We had spent all day hiking in the area and found this hotel when we passed by it. It´s in the very center of the town. We booked 5 rooms for the following day and found it to be a gem, with its rustic antique furnishings, attention to cleanliness in all aspects, and new mattresses. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet provided at an additional cost which was generous enough, but the special touch we enjoyed the most was Shirly offering to prepare us a picnic lunch for the next day. It was perfect. We were disappointed to see that their restaurant isn´t fully opened yet, but there are plenty of places to get a good meal in the area. We were informed that the hotel had been closed for some time and was now under new management. The personnel seem very keen on pleasing everyone. We hope to return soon and wish them the best.

I was looking for a inexpensive place outside of Soria and I found this nice little posada. A nice room with a window opening over someone's back yard. And no air conditioning. What a relief! The lady who runs speaks no English, but several of her employees pretend to speak english. Between my broken Spanish and their broken English, we got along fine. Don't expect a big fancy breakfast, that is not what you are paying for. Yes I would go back for another night, particularly if I was visiting Numancia!

No hay muchas opciones cercanas para cenar, solo había un bar que sirviese cenas en todo el pueblo el día que fuimos. Por lo demás aunque creo que si que apagaron la calefacción pero no me parece que fuese como para quedarse helado. La habitación era una monada, cómoda y suficientemente amplia, el baño tenia una bañera enorme y estaba muy limpio cuidado. La atención inmejorable, el desayuno fue más que correcto y por ese precio no se podría pedir más. Admiten mascotas.
