Hotel La Prairie

A fantastic hotel. The restaurant was simply outstanding. Brilliant service and amazing food. I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and have not had food this good for a very long time. The choice of wines was extensive. |The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff are always very smartly dressed and well presented.|Also worth mentioning is that there is a ramp at the entrance as well as stairs. There is a lift to get to upper floors.|Recommended in every way and I will definitely be staying here again when I am working in the area again.

Excellent location near the town side. Friendly staff and nice comfortable rooms. Excellent dinner. Easy access to numerous cycling and hiking trails . Additional facilities at the hotel such as a big garden, mini golf, bike storage and bike mending facilities were a bonus. We look forward to staying there again.

My stay in the premium room at L'Hôtel de la Prairie was impeccable for business travel. The room was not only spacious and elegantly furnished but also equipped with all the amenities I needed for a productive stay. The fast Wi-Fi and comfortable workspace were exceptional. The tasting menu felt like a culinary journey across continents.

Nice upscale place in quiet location. The building is old style, but the rooms have been recently painted and updated. Comfortable beds. Very good restaurant with outdoor terrace, friendly service, pricey but OK for what you get. Good vegetarian options.

Our group of 16 in eight classic cars touring Switzerland stopped here for dinner and the night. While the location was convenient, the proximity of a road behind made the traffic noise audible in our room. The quality of the meals (dinner and breakfast) was quite good, but the service reluctant. Our room was spacious and the beds good. At breakfast, the only coffee available was a machine mixing powder with hot water: not up to Swiss standard! When I asked for "real" coffee, it arrived eventually, served with irony. Another inconvenience: works on the first floor blocked access to the upper floors where the rooms were. The only access was a small lift for two persons. We were not shown any fire stairs. The large garden and tennis courts are a plus.

We booked one of the best rooms and it was great, nice furniture and high finishes. Breakfast buffet is generous and it’s worth trying the restaurant, it’s a bit on the pricey side but the quality is excellent!||Too bad there isn’t a swimming pool, but the tennis court, garden and miniature golf are definitely a nice touch.

We have visited this restaurant on 20th of february, which was monday. We have been accomodated in other hotel next to this one, and the hotel staff didnt take us, even If we have been hotel guests, and there have been a few free tables. Then i called the neighbouring hotel La Prairie, and guess what? The whole staff stayed at work Because of us, and they served us a dinner even After 21:00. Christopher, our waiter made a professional job, was very kind and helpful. We tried the Solaris wine, which was amazing! Thanks to Christopher for His recommendation. The food was briliant. We had a seabass fillet, with homemade mayo, Orange reduction and mashed potatoes. Wow. I can only recommend you this place, amazing staff, either in kitchen and service too. I will be happy to come back.

This is a very nice hotel with friendly service and well appointed rooms. The walls are quite thin and the bed not too comfortable, so when it was finally time to go to sleep the rest of the good things didn't matter as much.
