We stayed for a week. Hotel Wifi is unstable (disconnected frequently) and unfortunately the mobile network is also poor due to the room's location. We all have faced the same issue. When we complained at reception, she responded that she also faces the same issue in her computer. Until the good wifi is not re-established, I would recommend not to book the rooms.

Quiet, comfortable, clean and wonderfully friendly small Italian-themed hotel, excellently situated in the Altstadt and very near the Weser. Very good breakfast buffet. The only drawback was a somewhat quirky WiFi connection, but so what!

I have stayed here 4-5 times, but last in 2013, it is an old building & gives a feel of history. But the the lighting in the rooms are quite dim & also the equipment is quite old. Once the door lock came off ,when I was inside the room leaving me stuck. The staff is always ready to help. The breakfast is nice. Also located in the heart of the city there are lot of activities to choose from . All the good restaurants , the city centre are all within walking distance.

It is quite rare when you may feel yourself comfortable and like at home in a hotel. But this hotel is very cosy and welcoming. Spacious badroom and bathroom, lots of towels, clean and beautiful room, and a very friendly staff. And separate thanks to Claudia for making our stay a very pleasant one. ||P.S. great idea to call a room "Villa Di Casanova")

I stayed a couple of times this year at La Principessa and have been rather satisfied with the accommodations. It is a no frill place, nothing luxurious, but a rather homy and comfortable spot. It has the perfect location in town, a couple of minutes walking to the town center and all the shops and restaurants. ||They serve a very good and solid breakfast in the morning and the staff is generally helpful and courteous. ||I suggest to find a room on the newer side of the building. They are larger and have more light. The Wi Fi seems to work better on that side as well.

I have stayed in this hotel lots of times (>10). Usually its business trips lasting from 2 to 8 nights. ||Hotel has perfect location from city center and is not in noisy area. It has parking spots if not just next to hotel, then 50m away in special parking area. ||Rooms are quite similar in general, its a bit strange just under the roof on the top floor, but since I have tried many of these, cant tell that there is a quality difference in between, so that is a very positive point.||Rooms are equiped with everything basic, its clean and cleaned every day, no additional "pets" like mice :). i have stayed there in summer and there was no flies or mosquitos. ||Wifi is something similar to all remaining Germany - sometimes its poor or not working (in quite rara cases). Its not a big or lasting problem in general, but happens time to time. ||Breakfast is perfect. Nice selection of everything and its not too much :) ||so in general - thumbs up. it would be 4.5 as last point, but friendly receiptionist makes it 5 :) She speaks with slight accent and this gives La Principessa bonus point for "italian feel" in Germany :) Good work !

This hotel is very small but very nice, my only feeling is the lack of a bar would be off-putting for some people, there is one right next door, but not the same as in house, the other issue is no restaurant, they serve breakfast only, there is lots of restaurants in Hameln but most close around 21.00 so no good if you get here late. Would stay here again for a short stay, but prefer the Mercure for longer visits.

The best thing about the hotel is that it is close to the City Centre and has good parking reasonably close. It has no lift, and no air-conditioning The view from our room was terrible - the back of a block of flats. There were dogs barking in the afternoon so we couldn't rest. When we finally got to sleep, despite the heat, the bins were being moved at 6.00am. Not recommended!!
