Hôtel La Tartane Saint Tropez

It is my second time staying at La Tartane. I had the most amazing experience during my first visit with my husband and then again with our 10 months old baby. They did everything so my baby would feel comfortable. The rooms are beautiful and clean with a lovely garden and an easy access to the pool which is very intimate and calm. The food is outstanding and I have never experienced so much diversity for breakfast ( lots of options if you want to eat really healthy). The car brings you to the village and beach clubs everyday, it was a dream.

I absolutely fell in love with Hôtel Tartane in Saint-Tropez. It’s hidden just enough from the chaos of town that you feel like you’ve escaped—but still close enough to dip into the buzz whenever you feel like it. The vibe is so peaceful, surrounded by pine trees, with this soft breeze that makes everything feel slow and effortless. My room was everything I love—neutral tones, natural materials, super cozy but still elegant in that quiet, refined way. Breakfast in the garden was such a highlight for me—fresh fruit, good coffee, birds chirping, no rush. Just calm. What I appreciated most was how kind and attentive the staff were without ever being over the top. It felt like staying at a friend’s beautiful home rather than a hotel. If you’re looking for a relaxed, intimate stay with true Saint-Tropez charm—Tartane is it. I’m already dreaming of going back

3-4 star very Charming hotel. Great breakfast, nice pool and restaurant. Service was fair, pool is peeling, but otherwise really enjoyed it. It’s a relaxing place, no elevators, easy in and out every day. Shower didn’t have a door - designed as a “wet bathroom”, my least favorite setup.

I absolutely adored my stay at this hotel in St. Tropez. It was the perfect quiet and relaxing escape in May. The service was warm and attentive, and the rooms were both comfortable and beautifully designed. I highly recommend dining at the hotel—one of the best meals I had in France was at La Tartane. Already looking forward to coming back.

Very non accommodating. Unfortunately I had a very unpleasant experience with the hotel management. It’s especially sad because of how beautiful the hotel is and how excited we were to stay with here. Unfortunately we had an unexpected death in the family and had to reschedule our travel dates to make arrangements. I booked this hotel through Amex and contacted them to cancel the booking as soon as I was able to. The hotel had a 21 day cancellation policy and I contacted them 5 minutes past midnight into that period, 20 days 23 hours and 55minutes before our booking. Amex was unable to work out a solution on our behalf and I contacted the hotel directly multiple times to request a refund or credit or a one time exception to just reschedule our stay. They provided zero sympathy for the situation and maintained their cancellation policy with a 0% refund or willingness to offer another solution. Due to the hotels cancellation policy our travel insurance and Amex insurance was not able to cover the cost at all. This stay cost us over €3000. This is substantial for us especially in a time where we had an unexpected cost arise in a traumatic time. Every single other travel accommodation we made was more than willing to work with us on rescheduling. There are so many other beautiful hotels in this area I couldn’t recommend strongly enough to consider another option. The hotel actually had the audacity to ask if we could cancel our booking to make the room available to others after declining any refund amount or option to reschedule.

It’s cozy and pretty between the trees although the room is full of the Minnie ants 🐜 + I’m in my fourth day of my 1 week stay and I was asking them since the first day to adjust the phone in my room with no response + I kept asking about the WiFi they gave me a zero connection WiFi

We LOVED our stay at Hotel Tartane! This is truly a five star hotel. It is absolutely gorgeous, amazing, with the most friendly staff. The hotel grounds are beautiful with lots of flowers and trees. The rooms were very spacious, clean and the interior decorating is just so perfect for Saint Tropez. The pool is awesome and super relaxing during the day. The food was 10/10, we had lunch at the pool and the restaurant at night is lovely with amazing food as well. Breakfast was one my favorite parts of the stay. Easily the best breakfast I have encountered at a hotel. Everything is so fresh and the breads/croissants were incredible. The staff was also so incredibly nice, helpful and friendly. The location is close to the town and the beach and they have a very easy shuttle that takes you to both places. With such a relaxing and fun stay, I hope to come back soon. Incredible service and accommodations. Included breakfast was amazing too. Would highly recommend this hotel!
