This is not the hotel for everyone. If you are a 5 star all inclusive resort type who is put off by any small imperfection, it's not for you. If you are a seasoned budget traveller who wants a fairly inexpensive room near the bus terminal or airport (or both), I recommend it. We stayed overnight coming off the street after finding out that the next bus we could catch to Mazatlan wasn't until the next day (if only TAP bus line would allow us to book online from Canada it would have saved us a night, but that's another matter entirely - they don't seem to accept Canadian postal codes). Back to the hotel. The room was clean, the bathroom was probably a 7/10. The wifi was very good, but it dropped completely once so I reset what I assume was the router in the room and it got back online within 15 minutes. Who knows, it could have been a cable box for the TV. The TV is old tube style and up fairly high, but as long as we had wifi we were happy. The AC worked just fine, which was a plus after getting off the plane from the great wet Northwest and needing time to acclimatise. The only down side was someone had forgotten to stock the room with towels (or possibly we should have just asked) but we made do. There are nice common area balconies if you want to have a beverage or a snack in the evening. Pharmacy is next door. There are two solid local style restaurants a few doors down as well as street vendors during the day. One of the restaurants is very good for breakfast and has passable coffee - about $2-3 per person, but it gets busy so be a little patient. The staff was friendly.

For us it was a handy location to rest up after getting off the plane and before catching a bus the next day on short notice. A nice clean quiet room with AC and comfortable beds at a decent price. No towels, but we probably could have asked for them if needed. Edit: a year late and this is still a great budget place in my opinion. It's close to a major road and bus routes, close to both the bus station and the airport. You do ask for towels at the desk. They are available starting in the afternoon.

I should have read the reviews more carefully before booking. Hotel La Terminal is close to the Puerto Vallarta airport. I picked it because we were only going to be there for one night. The desk clerk was helpful and friendly. The hotel is basic without a pool or elevator. Everywhere is finished mostly with nice tile. From there everything went bad. The bathroom and particularly the shower tiles were not clean. A bug ran across the toilet. The bed had a stained bedspread. When pulling back the sheets I found they were dirty with food and crumbs from nacho chips. It had obviously been made up using the previous dirty sheets. I'm sure if we complained it would have been taken care of but it was very late and we were very tired. However this should never have happened in the first place! The cleaning people should be fired or re-trained. The hotel does have potential.

Very friendly, helpful staff, clean quite room but rather dark. Everything in Mexico has become very pricey bottom to top.|The same accomodation in Asia would be 1/4 the price. |It was, however, very close to the bus terminal and food vendors.

The hotel is across the street from the bus depot so it is handy for late night arrivals from the airport and easy bus connection in the morning. 5 minute taxi ride from the airport. Nothing fancy and small rooms but spotless and the staff incredibly helpful. We will definitely be staying here when we come in and out of town.

One look and we headed for the drug store to get Clorox wipes! Hair everywhere. plenty of dirt as well. VERY depressing. The sheet was 5 feet wide and placed on the bed side ways. Your choice was whether to cover your chest or your feet. Bedspread was inside out as was one pillow case.

I stayed at the Hotel La Terminal for one night in preparation for catching a morning flight from PV to Canada. The check in was smooth (although there didn't seem to be any automation evident), the room was on the second floor was very clean and comfortable for an economy hotel.

No sé lo recomiendo servicios son pésimos. I dont recommend this place. service was very poor. Halfway through the night the ac started leaking on On the bed we notified them and they said we had to deal with it. Very disappointing for the 600 pesos we spent.
