Hotel La Vallée Heureuse

Fantastic place to stay. So serene and beautiful, and the indoor pool was great in winter! Food was amazing at the restaurant, and the service was always good. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area :) I wish I could have stayed here longer!!

A place where you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Liked the service, family room. The rooms are clean and cosy. I advise people who love nature and silence.

Nice view over valley and millstream. Good size room (27). Outdoor and indoor swimming pool. Lovely friendly staff dinner once. Main courses great (chicken with comte) but starters a bit disappointing. Overall very pleasant 3 night stay close to lakes and baumes les messieurs.

We stopped here randomly on the way to the Alps and loved it so much we arranged our travel on the way back to Paris to stop here. The staff was very very lovely and accommodating to our family and the views from the room and grounds were storybook idyllic. Just very very beautiful. Breakfast and dinner were also great during both of our stays!

we were very wellcome, friendly service, very clean place next to the watermill. The sound of the water is really nice when you walk or sit around. Thow the rooms are well isolated so you sleep well at night. Rooms are well decorated, neat and the beds are good. We felt very wellcome and you can also eat in the restaurant. Family owned hotel

Nice large beds with excellent mattresses. Garden is pretty. Our room was over a common area so we got smoke from other guests at night and unfortunately the building is near to a busy road so we had to sleep with windows closed.

This is a really great small hotel off the road 1km from Poligny. The couple who own and run it have created a beautiful, friendly place with excellent food ( a short menu with daily specials). Rooms are comfortable and there is a nice pool and gardens to sit in. We spent a terrific week here and would heartily recommend. There are a lot of steps as the hotel is on several levels, might be an issue for those who are less mobile.

Stayed here on the way home from Italy and it was a little gem! Quirky hotel over several floors, with a stream running through the gardens. The sound of running water was very soothing. The parking (a bit tight) is at the bottom and reception at the top, so if you have big bags, drop them off before parking. The staff were very helpful and friendly. ||The chef had the night off when we were there, but we were offered a simple meal, which turned out to be excellent. Very pleased we took them up on the offer, after driving over the mountains from Switzerland, I didn't fancy the drive into the nearby village.||The bed was enormous and comfy and breakfast simple but good.||A nice stay.
