Hotel La Villa Douce

We stayed at La Villa Douce for three nights and had such a lovely time. Our room was so spacious, clean and beautiful and the view from the room was spectacular! The staff were so friendly and helped us out in every way. The food was good, but the chef could have been even bolder when it comes to spicing things up :) But overall, a fantastic stay and we would love to come back!

Have been coming here to eat for 5 years now and this was the best experience by far. I don't know if the chefs have changed or what has happened. But this was a step up from the previous years where there always seem to be something not right. Either really roudy families or tons of moths or wasps. Had amazing seafood and meat. Just needs a bit more variety on the wine list. Can't wait to come back

We stayed at La Villa Douce for 3 nights. Overall we were pleased with our stay, on the positives the views are phenomenal and the hotel is very well located (although you will need a car to get there). The bathroom in our room was also very big and the shower worked very well! The bedrooms were clean and the beds comfortable but for such a beautiful view there were no windows to enjoy the view, we had to open a small door that led onto our balcony. On to the negatives, the breakfast is really shocking … almost to the point where I would recommend you opt out of it if possible. It’s crowded and the produce is below average. The pool is very warm and crowded, it would be very hard to relax around the pool for the day which is why we went out to the beach every day. We tried the restaurant and were impressed we had dinner on our last night and the service and food were great. Overall I think the rooms could do with some upgrading to meet the standard of the views and restaurant.

We booked this hotel the second time in April, first time we booked the suite and this time the superior room. The location and view are astonishing, the service and cleanness as well, facilities are great, swimming pool is amazing (when heated). From the improvement points: matras is only good in suite, wd slept bad in the superior room. Breakfast requires improvement, its too French - lots of sweets, very few vegetables or effort put in cooking. Overall value for money is worth for suite, bit a bit too high for superior room in our view.

Hotel La Villa Douce was like walking into a home with a dreamy view. The staff was welcoming the minute we arrived and we enjoyed all the special touches they sprinkled along the way. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a place of natural beauty.

Just returned from 5 nights at Hotel La Villa Douce. We had an incredible time, the hotel was very relaxing, pool was inviting and the views were incredible. ||The staff and food at the hotel were great and we enjoyed being tempted by fresh crepes and warm cookies at breakfast by the head chef, who always had a smile on his face. We dined at Cafe L’Envol several times during our stay and every dish was delicious, the presentation and food quality was brilliant.

Highly recommendable hotel - enjoyed 5 wonderful days with family in the hotel suite apartment with spectacular views. Staff was super friendly and service minded. Rooms spacious and clean. Nice food and pool as well.

Absolutely fantastic stay. The room was wonderful (suite), the view, pool and all public space was comfortable, spotless and tranquil. The restaurant and bar food was superb. The staff was so nice. Just a fantastic place all around. i do hope to get back there.
