Absolutely loved my stay here! The staff were fantastic—so welcoming and always happy to help. The location is spot on with a bus stop right outside the door for the city centre and the train station just a short stroll away. The hotel itself has such a lovely ambience and is beautifully decorated throughout. My room was spacious, comfortable, and well-kept. After a hot day exploring, the rooftop bar was the perfect place to unwind—so chilled and relaxing with great views. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel large rooms if you don’t mine the industrial warehouse look and concrete ceilings. Light switches were annoying you had to have them on for the kettle to work. No mini fridge in room to cool drinks was a bit disappointing but a lovely room huge bath and walk in shower comfortable bed. Breakfast were lovely but same every day. Staff were all amazing and helpful. A bit further from the centre than we thought but loved the walk

We so enjoyed our time in Bordeaux, and we highly recommend Hotel Zoologie. Upon arriving we were greeted warmly and check in was very efficient. Our room was available and our bags were taken right up for us, as we were invited to relax as long as we wished with our welcome drink. Throughout our stay we were always greeted as we came and went, and everyone was so accommodating and offering to help with anything we might need. We did enjoy dinner one evening in the hotel and it was amazing, we highly recommend, the food, ambiance and service were all excellent. Thank you for a great 1st visit to Bordeaux.

Panoramic suite bathroom not very private - no curtains and looking over to the rooftop bar. A/C was good in heatwave. Main bed very comfortable but sofa bed was a bit rickety but ok for small kids. Bus stop right outside hotel and short walk to station. We didn’t use the restaurants/bar or spa so can’t comment on them. They have good value early/late check in options.

We loved everything about this funky hotel and restaurant - walking distance from the main train station, handy, as we are not touring France by car. Very very professional and kind staff at reception and in the restaurant. We enjoyed a truly delicious lunch. Waiter was very knowledgeable and didn’t laugh at my silly attempts to speak French - his English was superb. Thank again, we will remember this day for a long time.

Fantastic stay - could not have improved on anything at this hotel. Beautiful building with a history. Special design with lots of eye catching details. Also amazing warm service with Corentin taking a great care of us! Restaurant at the property was lovely with great food and good value esp for lunch.

This is a wonderful, unique hotel. The service is excellent, the decor of the hotel and the rooms is very lovely, and we shall certainly visit again. We did not know this area of Bordeaux well and were delighted to explore.
