Hotel Laguna del Cocodrilo

it was a very pretty hotel i would love to go back the room was very nice i loved it.when you entered the room you can see the beach. Me and my girlfriend were there for a week and had a great time . Private access to the beach , tropical garden . Room was clean and the staff very helpfull . We ask informations about tours at the front desk and Cedric the manager was great . I will go back again for sure .

Great hotel on the beach , I stayed there with my wife and had a great time. The hotel is located on the beach with direct access . We had a very nice room with ocean view and room was clean . The staff is very nice and helpfull . I recommend that place and 3ill go again.

I have stayed 4 times so far at cocodorilo and it’s by far the best place to stay. Sandy the owner goes above and beyond. The rooms are clean and it’s a quick walk to the beach. It feels like a home away from home!

DO NOT STAY HERE. I started off my 6 week adventure and came with lots of American money(well stupid me and wrong hotel to choose) They went into my safe and denied that no one else could have access to my safe. I am out 8000 US DOLLAR. I noticed theives inscribed on the shower wall and it all makes sense. Cameras don't work and doors don't even have deadbolts. Run and I mean run, it's all done too well you start to actually think you did something wrong.

The lady & her son who run the place were excellent. It was quiet & air conditioning worked awesome. Only issue was with key not working properly for front door but I got help a new key right away. It is on the beach in secluded off right at end of main strip, so in 4 minutes walk you on your way in shops food etc…The views from this hotel at night were amazing! There’s even an amazing restaurant right downstairs and the staff are amazing. Also, the cleaning staff was so nice! You won’t regret staying here that’s for sure! loud music pumped out by the restaurant - with incessant bass beat - you'd think you were in South Beach. This was on from 1PM - 10PM non stop and relentless. Hall lights didn't always work. Coffee maker broken and replaced with yet another broken coffee maker. broken side bed lamp with no bulb. top of staircase a hazard esp. with lights not functioning

Awesome beachside hotel! Right on the beach with a private path to take you to the sand! Simple rooms have air conditioning, small refrigerator, and hot water. Nothing elaborate or over the top, it gets 5 stars because its really good for the price. The people who work there are awesome and super helpful. Great price for Tamarindo, would stay there again!

Loved this hotel! It’s a little outside of the main tourist area, which was SO NICE because the beach was basically private, it was nice and quiet, and the hotel grounds are beautiful! The room was nothing too fancy, but definitely clean and comfortable. The employees were helpful. The restaurant was amazing. I doubt we’ll come back to Tamarindo if we travel to Costa Rica again, but if we did, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Great place.
