Hotel Lahofer

We stayed in this lovely hotel while on a cycling tour in Czech Republic. It was very clean, comfortable and accommodating. The breakfast was OK, but a large group nearly all of the buffet and they did not provide more.|Otherwise, it would have been great.

Am reviewing hotel restaurant, not the hotel (as did not stay there). Restaurant had been recommended, and did not disappoint (ate here two evenings in a row). Dishes very well prepared, with great wine pairing. Great meat dishes. Compared to similar level of food in Prague, prices low. Staff friendly and professional.

Nice boutique hotel near the main square. Everything was as expected. Good room, friendly staff. We did a small wine tasting in the evening for very reasonable price. Just the quality of food - both dinner and breakfast can be improved to match the nice impression from the hotel and also be in line with pricing.

What a gorgeous boutique hotel. Once we had found it we were absolutely delighted with this hotel. Really comfortable room and generous bathroom made it feel quite luxurious.||Staff were friendly and helpful.||Have an in house bar-tasting room for wines - seems wineries/wine are also part of the hotel owner's portfolio and the reception area looks like a wine store. They offer a wine tasting in the bar or outside on a patio. We chose outside and despite my wife being reticent we both thoroughly enjoyed it - you basically choose the number of wines you want to try and for a small fee they bring out wines and nibblies.||Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.||Breakfast was also lovely.||Just be warned if you want to eat in the restaurant it pays to book early. We were faced with a 1 hr wait so chose to look elsewhere, by which time there weren't too many options. On a Sunday night it seemed everyone closed up early.

In all honesty, generally speaking, I would give this a three star rating. The reception area on the ground floor is tiny and the only place where I could get a decent wi-fi reading, the dinner was average at best, and the breakfast just about adequate. However it has a good location within easy walking distance of a number of the sights, the rooms were clean, but above all else the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Well done staff !

To Lahofer Hotel in Znojmo, we regularly return every year and we are always very satisfied. The hotel offers very good accommodation in a historic building in the old centre of Znojmo, excellent cuisine with wines from Lahofer winery and friendly staff, all of which make your stay extremely pleasant. There is a secure parking lot, good Wi-Fi signal in rooms and bicycle storage room, or guests can rent hotel's bikes. I definitely recommend at least a few days, to explore Znojmo and its surroundings the hotel Lahofer is the best place.

Although a small town Hotel Lahofer sure is one of the best places to stay in Znojmo. Situated just a few meters from the city main square the hotel offers one of the best restaurant , also for 2 days we needed early breakfast like 6.00 am and it wasn;t a problem at all , full breakfast was offered , receptionist speak very good English, only thing i don't like is not all rooms have AC otherwise it's the hotel to stay in Znojmo

Stayed here on a cycling trip. The rooms were small but well equipped and modern. The food in the restaurant was excellent serving a range of traditional dishes. Near to the centre of town and well worth the stay.
