Hotel Lamm is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful structures in Castelrotto. From the moment you arrive, the incredible design of the hotel stands out, blending modern luxury with Alpine charm. The rooms are spacious and elegantly appointed, and the spa area, specifically the rooftop pool, is a true masterpiece that offers a serene atmosphere and breathtaking views. If you are looking for a property that excels in aesthetics and physical comfort, this hotel hits the mark perfectly.
However, the service levels simply do not match the high price tag or the prestigious level of the facility. For a hotel of this caliber, one expects a certain degree of operational discipline that was unfortunately missing during our stay. A primary example occurred when we departed for a day of skiing at 8:30 in the morning; when we returned nearly six hours later at 14:40, our room was still in the middle of being cleaned. Having to wait for housekeeping to finish before we could even change or relax after a day on the slopes is a significant inconvenience that shouldn't happen in a luxury establishment.
This lack of attention to detail extended to other areas as well. We noticed small but important oversights, such as towels being unavailable in the spa area, which takes away from the premium experience the hotel aims to provide. Furthermore, the departure process felt cold; at checkout, no one asked for feedback or seemed interested in our experience. To truly compete at this level, Hotel Lamm needs to inject more care and guest-centric discipline into their daily operations. It is a very nice hotel, but the "human element" currently lags behind the stunning architecture.
