Cute, quiet, and cozy little hotel! Easy walking distance to Lanai City and a quick drive to beaches, views, and hikes. The beds were insanely comfortable, the rooms were spotless and surprisingly high-tech (bidet toilet with heated seat, variety of light and curtain settings, etc.), and the TV and room fridge were great to have. We also loved the blackout curtains and the 12pm check-out time. Sadly, the attached restaurant wasn’t open the days of our stay (closed Sun-Mon), but with easy access to dining in town this was no problem. Simple and appreciated continental breakfast served daily.
A couple notes for future guests / things that could enhance this place even more:
- This is the countryside, so roosters will crow as early as 3am! Having earplugs as a light sleeper came in handy.
- We paid extra for a lanai room only to discover that it overlooks the (albeit tiny) parking lot. In our opinion it wasn’t worth it and actually felt less private than the garden rooms probably did.
- I don’t know if it was just our room, but the door to the lanai and the sliding door to the bathroom were quite heavy. It was okay for us, but I kept thinking that for older folks or anyone with shoulder issues this could be a hazard.
- Since this is a small hotel, be aware that you won’t have access to staff 24/7. Also, make sure to schedule your check-in time accurately to ensure someone’s at the desk when you arrive.
- The trash can in the room was tiny. Luckily we had packed our own trash bags for food containers, etc., but a bigger trash can would have definitely come in handy.
Despite its quirks, this place was a great stay overall and a wonderful option if you’re looking for a chill, affordable vacation in Lanai!
