First off, the hotel is so charmingly decorated! This is why my friend and I decided to stay there...and we were not disappointed! The elevator is lovely! My room had a charming alcove and a nice sized bathroom with a tub and radiator. ||But really, the location is incredible! Close to a Metro line, a big mall and so many grocery stores and restaurants, the Hotel Langlois has everything you need if you are looking for charm, convenience, and to truly get a taste of the Paris life. ||The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast has lots of options. I have finally found a hotel in Paris that I want to go back to!

We have stayed at Hotel Langlois twice now and heartily recommend it for those looking for a an old-fashioned, classic-Paris place at a reasonable price. Both times our room has been huge (especially by Paris standards), with an enormous bathroom. Two fireplaces, old oil paintings and marble sculptures in the rooms, very comfortable bed, fluffy towels, A/C, a mini-fridge, and an exceedingly friendly staff -- what more could you want? Despite being on a busy street, it was quiet at night. We did not take the optional breakfast, but it looked lovely; there are very good boulangeries and brasseries within a few minutes walk. Excellent wi-fi, safe neighborhood, and a metro just around the corner. Will not hesitate to stay again when we return to Paris.

This was our favourite hotel in Paris (we stayed in 3). The room and bathroom were very spacious, the hotel had Parisian charm and was quiet, the lift was very welcome. The location was perfect: within a short walk of the metro, the Galeries Lafayette and the Paris Opera. We highly recommend and would stay here again.

We signed up for a time for breakfast and had to wait 30 minutes. There were some people that were late for breakfast so the room was full. In general. This was a really nice stay and the people behind the counter were helpful. Rooms were decent.

We had a great stay at Hotel Langlois. The location was very convenient and the room was surprisingly spacious compared to most Paris hotels. We loved the high ceilings and the beautiful Art Nouveau and Art Deco ambiance throughout the hotel. The old-fashioned elevator was a fun and unique touch. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had breakfast one morning and really enjoyed the cozy little area where it was served. Would definitely stay here again.

We've stayed before and it's really nice. It's a classic old style French hotel, with an original metal cage lift, fully updated of course. Rooms are large and furnished in a traditional style which many will find appealing, but a few may find dated. The price you pay for the original bathroom doors for example is an over-bath shower with a curtain. Breakfast is an excellent continental buffet, with a few hot items. The hotel location is great: quiet, yet handy for many bars and restaurants and a very short walk to the nearest Metro. The lady on reception is brilliant: knowledgeable, charming and helpful, a real asset to the hotel. The staff speak good English and go out of their way to assist you.

I stayed at Hôtel Langlois for just one night, mainly because it’s close to my office and located in a central area of Paris I know very well. I had to book last minute and was looking for something reasonably priced. In my opinion, though, this hotel is overpriced for what it offers.||||The room I had was not well maintained—while the towels, bed linens, and bathroom were clean, there was a lot of dust in hidden spots, suggesting it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. I also didn’t like the overall decor—too many mirrors and a kind of pompous style that made the room feel uncomfortable to me. The shower still had a curtain, which I find outdated, as were other elements like the taps and furnishings.||||The bed was comfortable, but the room was far from soundproof—I could hear everything happening in the adjacent rooms. On the positive side, the staff were very kind and polite, but I was surprised by their limited English skills, especially in such a central Paris hotel.||||All in all, while the location and staff were great, I won’t be returning. There are many other hotels in the area that offer better value and comfort.

We had an very enjoyable four night stay in our first trip to Paris. Location is first class in a quiet area - only 100m from the nearest Metro with other metro station lines nearby. Easy walking distance to the Moulin Rouge and Montmartre. Plenty of good cafes, restaurants and bakeries nearby to satisfy your needs.||A charming older hotel that has been renovated in traditional decor. Our twin room was very clean, well appointed and a good size though the bathroom was compact. The staff are English speaking, friendly and helpful although breakfast staff had limited English. A satisfying Continental Breakfast was provided along with freshly squeezed orange juice. ||We have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to new visitors to Paris.

Yelp
I arrived at my hotel - the Hotel Langlois built in 1886 - on Rue Saint-Lazare early on Sunday, August 11, 2024... the last day of the Summer Olympics in Paris. Check-in wasn't until 2:00 pm and I arrived at 9:30 am. I had requested an 'Early Check-In', but it wasn't guaranteed. However, the Concierge had a room already so I checked in. My room was on the 2nd Floor and the 19th Century was a real treat. While not a Four Seasons or a Ritz-Carlson, the Hotel Langlois was clean, well-maintained and very reasonable. After a shower and nap (Hey! Naps are our friend!) I walked around the neighborhood. Plenty of restaurants, shops, banks and things to do. The next morning I tried the Hotel buffet. The Orange Juice, Coffee, and Pasteries were out of this world... and at €15 it was a bargain. At less than €300 for my stay, I will return on my next trip to Paris.

Yelp
Charming little hotel located in the 9th arrondissement within great walking distance to many sites (Galeries Lafayette, Opéra Garnier, Moulin Rouge, Champs-Elysees, Palais Royal, metro station, and more). The hotel is a little dated but very cute and really, when you're in Paris, what else do you need besides a clean bed to rest in and shower? The front desk staff was always super friendly and helpful in answering any questions we had. We stayed on the 1st floor and there is a cute, vintage elevator in the reception area that can hold up to 2 people but luckily we did not mind the stair climb. I will say the Europeans must love their heaters because even though it was a bit cold out, everywhere we went was very warm including this hotel at night, so we had to turn on the AC to be able to sleep comfortably lol. Our room was a bit small for a group of 3 but again, I felt it was fine to sleep in because we spent all day out exploring and just needed a bed and shower. Based on my experience, location, and service, I would certainly stay here again on my next trip to Paris!

Yelp
I love this hotel. We stayed here for 4 days, the price is relatively low for Paris hotel price. It's conveniently located in the central of the tourist attractions. For instance, the Sacre Coere is only 10-15 min walk, the metro is only one block away. few meters from the hotel is the city wide bike rental where you can rent it for 1 Euro per day. Gallery Lafayette is only few blocks away, as well as the Opera district, Montermar and the Louvre is also walking distance. The price is cheap, hotel is cute. If you're looking for a budget hotel that's in the central location in Paris that is also clean and nice, this is is the hotel for you. only thing I can complain about this hotel is that it's pretty quiet if you like to come back late at night and make noise... we got a noise complain one night when we came home from a night out...

Yelp
We stayed here for only a single night at the end of a three-week trip. And after three weeks of not really sleeping, this was a welcome respite. It was a nice room in an old-fashioned and comfortable hotel. We got in at about 6 p.m., dropped off our stuff, and left. We got back a little after midnight and slept in before leaving around 11 a.m. We had a room on the fifth floor, and I was even impressed that they had a little entryway after coming through the door, and then a second door with a curtain over it. No light from the hallway! It's the little things. There were separate rooms for the shower and toilet, there was air conditioning, and we were able to pull the thick curtains over the windows to block out the light, although there wasn't too much since we had an interior room. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Gare du Nord. It's down the street from Trinity Church, and from there it's a short walk straight up Rue Blanche to the Moulin Rouge and up to Sacre-Coeur.
