We went on a weekend days after Christmas to this hotel's restaurant. We had gone before when the owner was there and the food was really good, the place was lively and staff were on the go. On this occasion however, things were the complete opposite. The gentleman working the bar let us in at around 11 saying that the breakfast buffet had ended and we were welcome to wait for the lunch to start at 11:30. They said we were welcome to have drinks while we waited. We tried a mixed drink and an horchata with coconut. Neither were super special but were drinkable. We ordered before kitchen opened and still our food took ages. The only thing good was the coconut shrimp. The rest was neither what was advertised nor seemed like made with much effort. The nachos were literally beans and chips. The empanadas were stale and not good in flavor and the "a la diabla" even though requested extra spicy was not spicy. I get it was a holiday weekend but the employees did not want to be there and it showed. A LOT. That includes the chefs/cooks. We definitely will not be returning. The beach there has lots of other restaurants we will be trying from now on. Also, parking is terrible.

Disappointing experience. Automatic propina added despite poor service, and pricing was unclear. I was charged more than the menu price for margaritas and told it was “special,” without that being explained beforehand. When I asked for the charge to be corrected, I was instead charged full price for my child’s meal. This happened twice. There also seems to be high staff turnover, which was noticeable. The restaurant was often empty while others nearby were full. Check your bill carefully if you choose to eat here.

This is a great hotel for a short stay or several weeks. The rooms are clean and have AC, which is nice in case. The staff at Las Brisas are helpful, very friendly they do speak very little English so it's best to brush up on your Spanish. If you don't have time to work on your Spanish or like me, just an old brain, you will get by. Connected to the hotel is a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and very tasty cocktails. You won't be disappointed with any of the food choices. You can always go out to the main street and try some of the local street fair. This is a great destination for some relaxing, great food and beautiful sunsets.

Clean hotel. Their is no hot water but its temperature is perfect for a shower after swimming. The location is right on the water front. I didn’t eat much but no complaints about the ceviche. This is a stop well worth making if you are going up the coast. My only complaint is that there is no plastic shower curtain. It’s just a cloth. So it smells like wet cloth. The AC kept the room very comfortable and there is wifi! You can hear the ocean as you fall asleep. Update this morning! Breakfast is on point. Eat here.

The restaurant is on the ocean with lovely views of the bay. The food is excellent. After a dinner of delicious coconut shrimp I returned for the French toast breakfast. Everything was prepared to perfection. All the staff speak English and they accept credit cards. Well worth a stop!

Great service, often had willingness to create vegetarian options for our family. Staff are professional, friendly— just awesome. Even booked massages through their reception reception with was absolutely fantastic.

Great location, excellent food, rooms are nice and clean. The staff is awesome , Dany, Omar and all the other staff as well. The owner Carla is a very nice person and runs an excellent buisness. 5 stars for me and my family. Suzie, Megan, Tristan, Jonathan. I will also add it was very safe for my 2 children. Family friendly

I've been coming here for years and can't fault the place. The food is a good standard (some dishes are verging on amazing -- check out the specials board on the way in, too), the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the setting is idyllic, everything is kept scrupulously spic and span, and the margaritas are tremendous. Oh, and the breakfast buffet is a great way to start your day.
