had a fantastic stay at Hotel Las Brisas Oaxaca in Huatulco! The property offers breathtaking views that truly showcase the beauty of the area. One of the highlights of my visit was the snorkeling beach—crystal-clear water and vibrant marine life made for an unforgettable experience.||||The variety of restaurant options on-site was impressive, catering to different tastes and preferences. The breakfast was particularly amazing, with a wide array of fresh and delicious options to start the day.||||For those who enjoy staying active, the tennis courts were in excellent condition and added an enjoyable touch to the stay. Overall, this hotel strikes a perfect balance between relaxation, adventure, and luxury. Highly recommended!

This was our first time in this area of Mexico and it was amazing! The hotel is clean, the staff are kind and the beaches are 5 stars!! The food was great, lots of options. Great for families or couples. Only 20ish minutes from the airport. This hotel is beautiful, the views are incredible!!

Overall a nice experience- the Brisas Beach Club really made the experience better- the staff there especially Nayali (spelling?) are great. The resort is huge and built on the cliffs, so you end up walking a LOT. The shuttles are not enjoyable at all. The buffet restaurant had excellent Mexican dishes, but the continental options were not great. Stick to the Mexican food in the buffet and you'll be fine. The chicken mole tamales are amazing! The a la carte restaurants were not great- I would take a pass on them (rushed service, impersonal, poorly organized and food was not nice). The water is glorious! Great for swimming. Rooms are clean and spacious. The hidden gem is the tennis facilities- Paco the tennis pro is great and so patient, although they do need new tennis racquets to loan out! The spa was lovely. Overall we had a great time, but the resort is run down and needs some serious TLC- small things like cushions for the beach loungers (hard plastic loungers are not good for lounging!). Huatulco is very relaxed, quiet and you feel like you get a more authentic Mexican experience.

It was our second vacation in Huatulco after 10 years and first stay in Las Brisas from Dec 28, 2024 to Jan 6, 2025. We arranged our trip through AMA and West Jet Vacations We like to get experiences and not simply vacation time. We are happy of having selected Las Brisas because we got wonderful experiences As always, people make the difference: Las Brisas staff was great in all sense: kind, prompt to attend always timely and in excellent mood all our requirements. Food was excellent and we enjoyed all meals and restaurants a la carte.(top rate for "Solarium", with delicious meats, followed by "El mexicano", "Kasbah" (Moroccan) "El Pescador" and "Mediterraneo". Bella Vista was a great buffet. |Special mentions: a) the New Year eve party (fabulous organization , show, and food... amazing); b) the team for the daily shows: excellent dancers and choreography; c) Yoga classes: master Roberto was great. Introduced me to yoga and helped me in just a week to improve dramatically my physical condition and energy; d) the band The Vibe Hux, and Ernesto Aguilar (guitar and singer): excellent musicians; e) the beaches: we loved the clear and calm beaches Tornillo - the best for us- Manzanilla and Ventura: f) amazing pools and sports premises; g) the gardens: we love the tropical dry vegetation and forest, and the hotel gardens are a beautiful example of.||The room was very good, excellent AC, daily housekeeping great, very comfortable bed. Yes... the complex is huge, and some sections may need upgrades, but we wanted to get experiences not a luxury stay, and we got!! We loved Las Brisas and strongly recommend!

The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff was exceptional across the board—braiding ladies, kayak team, artisans, entertainers, waitresses, bartenders, drivers, and the cleaning crew. Everyone was incredibly kind and friendly, making us feel truly welcomed. We loved the warm and attentive treatment we received throughout our stay. ||However, it’s important to note that the hotel is not very handicap accessible. There are many stairs and no elevators, which could pose challenges for guests with mobility issues. While the drivers went above and beyond to assist, we would recommend a more accessible and smaller hotel for those with movement difficulties.

Had an incredible relaxing week at Las Brisas! The beaches are amazing! The view is incredible. Don't go to party but if relaxation is what you're looking for, this is it!! The dancers at the show are awesome! The only show I didn't care for was Opera. I wish they had a rock night.

We did water sports on the Ocean Freddie & Paco. We took out the sail boat. They were a great help. We really enjoyed it. They gave us a quick lesson/refresher on how to use the sail boat. Very accommodating. Plan to come back and take it again and use the paddle boards as!!!

Yelp
Located on the beautiful bay of Tangolunda. Formerly this was a Club Med location. The grounds are sprawling over several acres. As a matter of fact, the grounds are so big that they need to run a constant shuttle service around to get from point A to B. It took me a little while to get used to not being able to just walk to wherever I wanted to go. If you don't see a shuttle after a few minutes, don't worry call the front desk and one will be quickly sent out to meet you. The staffing was very nice and accommodating. The location is gorgeous. My room was located above a cliff over looking the bay. The rooms are spacious with equally spacious washrooms and with outdoor balconies. Lunch at the buffet was delicious, not all that great for dinner. But dinner at the other restaurants on site, where you needed a reservation, was outstanding.

Yelp
We stayed at Hotel Las Brisas overnight because there was a problem with out flight out of Huatulco. It was pleasant, comfortable, and very close to La Crucecita, a small town where we chose to spend the evening wandering around. If we'd been there longer, it seems like there are a lot of activities on the resort, including a couple of nice beaches, worth checking out. When we were ready to leave the resort on excursions to town, the nearby ruins, or to the airport, the hotel readily arranged inexpensive transport with very nice drivers. The only change I'd make at Las Brisas would be to add several dozen more fans to the lobby and bar, as it was almost unbearably hot as we waited for a ride back to the airport. If you're looking for accommodation in Huatulco, Las Brisas is definitely worth considering!

Yelp
We stayed at Las Brisas for four nights for a wedding. Overall, the experience was very positive. The resort is large and amongst hills, so you have to take a shuttle from your room to pretty much anywhere, especially in the May heat! The staff was very friendly, from the front desk to room service/housekeeping to restaurant staff. The room was very comfortable and had a great view. There are several restaurants to choose from. The buffet is accessible at all times, but you do need to make reservations for the more specialty restaurants. Highly recommend the Mexican restaurant! The location is beautiful and they serve really good local Oaxacan specialties. One thing I wish was different: The pools were not ideal for "partying". There are three pools- one for kids with a basketball court, one "adults pool", which really seemed to be geared towards more elderly folks, as there was no music allowed. The other is a large pool with one shallow side being full of kids and where the entertainment staff does their stuff, mostly geared towards kids. The other side is deep, which could really use some handle bars to hold on to to lounge and not have to tread water, and more entrance/access points. Ideally, an adult pool with good music and a swim-up bar would be a game changer! We had a great time!

Yelp
Our family took a second trip to Huatulco, we stayed at Las Brisas. The staff here is awesome, Derman is in charge of the transportation and will assist you if your looking to explore the surrounding towns. Tanny and Anna are always waiting with a smile at breakfast and lunch and are always nice to talk to. The beaches are great pool activities are great. The beach wait staff are hard working and fun. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
This is my second time visiting this city and I can tell you that you can find much more for far less. The service was absolutely horrible. The first day, they made a mistake on my reservation and I was supposedly "upgraded" to make up for that mistake (strategic move but definitely not an upgrade). That room smelled awful so they had to change me and then I got a call saying that they found my reservation and I was going to get moved AGAIN. The rooms are subpar with zero view (unless you like lots of pebbles). To make matters worse, the staff is unfriendly, pool closes at 8 and transportation is confusing. Avoid this hotel!

Yelp
Terrible customer service from Omar Águilar from concierge...this is a highly price hotel with a low quality trained staff; unfortunately!..for the high prices at Las brisas you would think concierge would be more polite, respectful and helpful! I would not bother to come here.

Anthony B.

Yelp
The hotel staff is very friendly. They have recommended us places to eat and sea and they have all been amazing. The view from our balcony they said was partial but however we can see the entire bay from it as well as the pool. The prices are very reasonable for dinner and drinks. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Avoid the headache, frustration and waste of money. The hotel has several attractions but they either close early or you'll be greeted by unfriendly staff. I booked 3 rooms two months in advance and they still managed to make a mistake with my reservation. The hotel is big so that it's separated into 3 towers. My family had to be separated due to their mistake. The worst part is that they had to downgrade our rooms which resulted in us getting the wrong amount of beds. We had to be moved two times before my family could finally be together. Staff is flat out rude and there is no doubt that they need more training.

Yelp
This place is horrible. It is so busy that they treat you like a herd of cattle. They literally take your luggage and put it in a different place with everyone else's luggage. After you check in, you go dig your luggage out. The rooms and restaurants are literally a mile from check in. They cart you around like cattle to your rooms. Got to my room and the key did not work. Took a little over an hour to get a key that worked. After an hour of heat and sweating, I was finally able to get into my room. Called to get a ride to the restaurant and waited 30 minutes for someone to show before I finally gave up. Was tired and went right to bed. Got up the next morning and could not log into the internet. It would not accept my last name and phone number. They also charge for the coffee in your room. I checked out immediately. Checking out was not an easy process. I will not stay here again.

Yelp
One of the best resort option to get rest and have a lot of fun with the acuatic activities and a semi virgin landscapes.
