We booked our stay with Las Brisis pretty last minute, and were very pleased at the price we were able to get for the Club Level! The whole experience getting to the Resort was great! The guide/salesman for the ride was funny, informative, and great at his job! The driver was great too! That was a pretty big bus to be maneuvering through the resort....one inch at a time to get through the gate! Our room was perfect, we were met with a beautiful moonscape from our deck, with cold beers and water (which was much appreciated) and spacious and clean room! We never had to wait for a ride to anywhere from our room, the drivers were always cheerful and helpful. The food choices were amazing! Even without the Ala cart options, the buffet and staff were amazing too!

It was my first time at this resort and it exceeded my expectations. The staff are amazing. The grounds are well kept, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The beaches are so safe and swimmable with lots of loungers and palapas for shade. Taxis always available to take you wherever you like. Always felt safe and well looked after. I’d like to mention Apalonia in the Pergola restaurant and Ricardo n the Kasbah restaurant as being so pleasant and helpful. The drivers who pick you up and drop you off are so efficient!

An amazing resort with great beaches, well maintained property and caring staff! Hot food needs to be hot though! This month is the beginning of their busy season and they were lacking in the amount of employees needed especially in every food area. With many restaurants and a large buffet, the task to find and also fully train must be monumental! Great place!!

We just got back from a beautiful week in Huatulco and had a wonderful time! Lucelli (our waitress at the beach) was wonderful! She was attentive, friendly, responsive and our favorite! All of the staff at the resort get 5 stars for their service and attention to detail. The only downside to our trip was the lack of gluten-free options for me. For me I have a lot of food allergies and went in with the thought we were in Mexico and Mexican food is the easiest one for me to navigate, but that didn't work for me at the resort. I did have a mini panic attack one night because I had missed lunch and hadn't eaten all day and the buffet didn't have anything I could eat. I was starting to get sick and we went to the concierge desk and Elisa jumped in and worked with Alfonso at the buffet and they made me some quesadillas on corn tortillas (we call them Mulitas here in SoCal). Alfonso told me to connect with him every night and he'd make sure to take care of me, which I truly appreciated. It would be nice if the food could be labeled with the allergins so that it would be easier for someone with allergies to navigate easier. Other than that we had a beautiful trip and will definitely come back.

We are just coming back from a week in this beautiful resort. The food is great, the location is also great, the one thing that is a 10 out of 10 is the service, the staff are above what I've experienced in any other resort. Kind, accommodating and genuine. They collectively make you feel welcomed and at home. Thank you to all the service people , you guys rock !

One of the best vacations of my life. Easily in the top 5 for quality of beach, food, staff, accomodation and activities. The units, restaurants and grounds are wonderful. The beaches amazing. Staff are friendly. Great tennis and pickleball courts. Lots of options for adventuers in the surrounding countryside.

My husband & l returned after 20 years to La Brisas & we’re just as pleased! ||Beautifully situated in Tangolunda Bay with everything could ask for, the staff are always friendly and accommodating and we will return for a 3rd time. ||A huge shout out to driver ‘Raul’ a driver of the trams that take you back & forth, he was kind funny & made our trip pleasurable, one of the highlights for me is riding the trams (my inner child)||My only suggestion would be to clarify your room prior as ours was bottom floor staring out to green space when l had asked for a partial ocean view, we were moved and it all worked out. ||I did hear if others doing the same for various reasons, also if mobility is an issue for you, make it known you wish to be closer to the beach with less steps etc.

The service from the staff has been amazing. Its been awhile since I have seen friendly staff everywhere I go. The buffet hostess always remembered what group we are with and directed the trailing parties to our table. All staff even those who struggled with English went out of their way to listen to our requests and followed up to ensure everything was satisfactory. Also a reminder I really need to learn some Spanish to make everyone's life easier :) Food was good, some of the fish was overcooked at times but in the specialty dinners and buffet. This could be just us though. The resort is built on the cliffs so lots of stairs and ramps for those who want a good workout. Resort taxis, will take you wherever you need to go, if you don't feel like hiking. Lots of options via rooms for those with mobility issues. Our weather was mostly sunny with one or two rainy days. The staff still kept everyone engaged. Our driver said near the end of Oct 2025 they will have direct flights from Canada. Sadly we had long layovers to get here (not hotels fault). I would come back here again especially once we get some non stop flights.

Yelp
Located on the beautiful bay of Tangolunda. Formerly this was a Club Med location. The grounds are sprawling over several acres. As a matter of fact, the grounds are so big that they need to run a constant shuttle service around to get from point A to B. It took me a little while to get used to not being able to just walk to wherever I wanted to go. If you don't see a shuttle after a few minutes, don't worry call the front desk and one will be quickly sent out to meet you. The staffing was very nice and accommodating. The location is gorgeous. My room was located above a cliff over looking the bay. The rooms are spacious with equally spacious washrooms and with outdoor balconies. Lunch at the buffet was delicious, not all that great for dinner. But dinner at the other restaurants on site, where you needed a reservation, was outstanding.

Yelp
We stayed at Hotel Las Brisas overnight because there was a problem with out flight out of Huatulco. It was pleasant, comfortable, and very close to La Crucecita, a small town where we chose to spend the evening wandering around. If we'd been there longer, it seems like there are a lot of activities on the resort, including a couple of nice beaches, worth checking out. When we were ready to leave the resort on excursions to town, the nearby ruins, or to the airport, the hotel readily arranged inexpensive transport with very nice drivers. The only change I'd make at Las Brisas would be to add several dozen more fans to the lobby and bar, as it was almost unbearably hot as we waited for a ride back to the airport. If you're looking for accommodation in Huatulco, Las Brisas is definitely worth considering!

Yelp
We stayed at Las Brisas for four nights for a wedding. Overall, the experience was very positive. The resort is large and amongst hills, so you have to take a shuttle from your room to pretty much anywhere, especially in the May heat! The staff was very friendly, from the front desk to room service/housekeeping to restaurant staff. The room was very comfortable and had a great view. There are several restaurants to choose from. The buffet is accessible at all times, but you do need to make reservations for the more specialty restaurants. Highly recommend the Mexican restaurant! The location is beautiful and they serve really good local Oaxacan specialties. One thing I wish was different: The pools were not ideal for "partying". There are three pools- one for kids with a basketball court, one "adults pool", which really seemed to be geared towards more elderly folks, as there was no music allowed. The other is a large pool with one shallow side being full of kids and where the entertainment staff does their stuff, mostly geared towards kids. The other side is deep, which could really use some handle bars to hold on to to lounge and not have to tread water, and more entrance/access points. Ideally, an adult pool with good music and a swim-up bar would be a game changer! We had a great time!

Yelp
Our family took a second trip to Huatulco, we stayed at Las Brisas. The staff here is awesome, Derman is in charge of the transportation and will assist you if your looking to explore the surrounding towns. Tanny and Anna are always waiting with a smile at breakfast and lunch and are always nice to talk to. The beaches are great pool activities are great. The beach wait staff are hard working and fun. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
This is my second time visiting this city and I can tell you that you can find much more for far less. The service was absolutely horrible. The first day, they made a mistake on my reservation and I was supposedly "upgraded" to make up for that mistake (strategic move but definitely not an upgrade). That room smelled awful so they had to change me and then I got a call saying that they found my reservation and I was going to get moved AGAIN. The rooms are subpar with zero view (unless you like lots of pebbles). To make matters worse, the staff is unfriendly, pool closes at 8 and transportation is confusing. Avoid this hotel!

Yelp
Terrible customer service from Omar Águilar from concierge...this is a highly price hotel with a low quality trained staff; unfortunately!..for the high prices at Las brisas you would think concierge would be more polite, respectful and helpful! I would not bother to come here.

Yelp
The hotel staff is very friendly. They have recommended us places to eat and sea and they have all been amazing. The view from our balcony they said was partial but however we can see the entire bay from it as well as the pool. The prices are very reasonable for dinner and drinks. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Avoid the headache, frustration and waste of money. The hotel has several attractions but they either close early or you'll be greeted by unfriendly staff. I booked 3 rooms two months in advance and they still managed to make a mistake with my reservation. The hotel is big so that it's separated into 3 towers. My family had to be separated due to their mistake. The worst part is that they had to downgrade our rooms which resulted in us getting the wrong amount of beds. We had to be moved two times before my family could finally be together. Staff is flat out rude and there is no doubt that they need more training.

Yelp
This place is horrible. It is so busy that they treat you like a herd of cattle. They literally take your luggage and put it in a different place with everyone else's luggage. After you check in, you go dig your luggage out. The rooms and restaurants are literally a mile from check in. They cart you around like cattle to your rooms. Got to my room and the key did not work. Took a little over an hour to get a key that worked. After an hour of heat and sweating, I was finally able to get into my room. Called to get a ride to the restaurant and waited 30 minutes for someone to show before I finally gave up. Was tired and went right to bed. Got up the next morning and could not log into the internet. It would not accept my last name and phone number. They also charge for the coffee in your room. I checked out immediately. Checking out was not an easy process. I will not stay here again.

Yelp
One of the best resort option to get rest and have a lot of fun with the acuatic activities and a semi virgin landscapes.
