Amazing calm beach with a reef. Water was so clear you can see all the fish and stingray. This place is definitely for young families and older couples as it has no disco. Night life was slow and quiet. The buffet was decent, and the best à la carte was the Mediterranean. I love flavor and hot food, and I can't say we got this at any of the à la cartes. My room was really run down. The balcony door would not close shut unless it was locked. The best to take away from this vacation would be the amazing Beaches. Please remember to keep your garb in a safe place, cover your drinks, and don't feed the birds and squirrels that hang out on the beach. I had to watch someone feed a squirrel spicy nuts while he laughed.

Loved our stay! Very laid back atmosphere. The fun crew was great. They knew all our names and were very personable. All the staff were wonderful and worked hard to make sure we were taken care of. The rooms were spacious and clean. Amazing view of the ocean. AC worked great. Food was nothing amazing- but not bad either. Incredible beach! You could see the fish swimming around you. We spent many hours with our kids snorkelling. Our kids also enjoyed all the “extra” activities available- the pool tables, the pickle ball court, bird watching, etc. ||Did a turtle release excursion which was cool- but the drive there was HORRIBLE. They are doing construction on a main highway for an extended length- and I can honestly say it was the scariest drive I’ve ever taken.

It was my first time at this resort and it exceeded my expectations. The staff are amazing. The grounds are well kept, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The beaches are so safe and swimmable with lots of loungers and palapas for shade. Taxis always available to take you wherever you like. Always felt safe and well looked after. I’d like to mention Apalonia in the Pergola restaurant and Ricardo n the Kasbah restaurant as being so pleasant and helpful. The drivers who pick you up and drop you off are so efficient!

Pros: - beautiful swimmable beaches - great views - easily walkable if you’re not in bad shape - amazing service from hotel staff - nice well equipped gym Cons: - you are not really allowed to eat in all restaurants, they limit you to 2 ‘a la carte’ restaurants and you have to book them - the buffet available has very regular food, like frozen pizza, bland food, etc. Found hair in some, ants walking around the tortillas and so - staff only speaks Spanish - you have to ‘book’ the sun loungers early in the morning or they won’t be available until around 4 pm. I way book but it’s mostly leaving your towels or other personal items there, go have breakfast and come back to them - loud music in the pool areas, very annoying as it would be nice to just hear the ocean and be able to chill With all this I do want to stress the beach is wonderful and clean, perfect for snorkeling or just chilling safely. I recommend to walk when possible, though many cars are available to take you around the hotel. However we did feel trapped there with the food situation, no point in paying an all inclusive if food sucks. I felt that the hotel’s target market is Mexicans that haven’t experienced all inclusives yet and that maybe are on a budget.

We had a really great holiday here! Only 2 small suggestions: 1) the scent machine in the lobby is wildly overpowering - I couldn’t sit near it. 2) They could really use a lobby bar, maybe air conditioned (with no scent machine) - it was a super hot stuffy wait for our shuttle to the airport Otherwise, super! Decent food selection (Mexican options were consistently the best!), lovely staff, great little beach. It’s also a quick cheap cab ride into town, which was fun and totally safe to wander around in.

We are just coming back from a week in this beautiful resort. The food is great, the location is also great, the one thing that is a 10 out of 10 is the service, the staff are above what I've experienced in any other resort. Kind, accommodating and genuine. They collectively make you feel welcomed and at home. Thank you to all the service people , you guys rock !

Wonderful hotel it’s so large you have to call carts to get you around which we found to be such fun|Pools were clean, beaches fab|Food was a bit bland during first part of our stay but certainly improved once clientele changed from 90% Canadian to 90% Mexican age group during first part of our stay was average 60plus but certainly cheated up when the Mexican families arrived for Xmas holidays|Only gripe was the entertainment it was boring one evening there was a Canadian country singer ??? I’m in Mexico why would we want to listen to this ? He certainly cleared the bar and dance area really fast most people had an early night cause he killed the vibe. Wrong place. |When in Mexico please Offer Mexican not Canadian food or Canadian music we are on holiday and want the full Mexican experience |In general this was our favourite Mexican holiday due to the outside areas and the ease to get around , beautiful beaches and great pools. Would highly recommend the hotel|Tip. Snorkel trip was not good, the coral reef at the hotel was far superior to the trip offered, it was a money grab, food very expensive plus you are taken to a beach without shade unless you pay for an umbrella which cost us 300 pesos not impressed with that |2nd beach we visited once again you had to pay to sit in a restaurant for the shade you needed this was worse average meal was $30 cad come prepared to pay |Hotel A la carte restaurants were ok , at the restaurants our main complaint was very little spice in every dish so food became bland luckily the hotel had lovely red chili sauce to add to the food

This is our third year in a row in Las Brisas Huatulco and truly didn’t disappoint! We always bring back a group of new friends around 15-20 people because we want everyone to enjoy this little piece of paradise. All our friends enjoyed an incredible time here! Because we have small children the only complaint we have is the location of the smoking area. It’s right next to the kids pool and dance floor. The designated smoke area is in the middle of a very public area for children. This change would be very helpful for families with small children.

Yelp
Located on the beautiful bay of Tangolunda. Formerly this was a Club Med location. The grounds are sprawling over several acres. As a matter of fact, the grounds are so big that they need to run a constant shuttle service around to get from point A to B. It took me a little while to get used to not being able to just walk to wherever I wanted to go. If you don't see a shuttle after a few minutes, don't worry call the front desk and one will be quickly sent out to meet you. The staffing was very nice and accommodating. The location is gorgeous. My room was located above a cliff over looking the bay. The rooms are spacious with equally spacious washrooms and with outdoor balconies. Lunch at the buffet was delicious, not all that great for dinner. But dinner at the other restaurants on site, where you needed a reservation, was outstanding.

Yelp
We stayed at Hotel Las Brisas overnight because there was a problem with out flight out of Huatulco. It was pleasant, comfortable, and very close to La Crucecita, a small town where we chose to spend the evening wandering around. If we'd been there longer, it seems like there are a lot of activities on the resort, including a couple of nice beaches, worth checking out. When we were ready to leave the resort on excursions to town, the nearby ruins, or to the airport, the hotel readily arranged inexpensive transport with very nice drivers. The only change I'd make at Las Brisas would be to add several dozen more fans to the lobby and bar, as it was almost unbearably hot as we waited for a ride back to the airport. If you're looking for accommodation in Huatulco, Las Brisas is definitely worth considering!

Yelp
We stayed at Las Brisas for four nights for a wedding. Overall, the experience was very positive. The resort is large and amongst hills, so you have to take a shuttle from your room to pretty much anywhere, especially in the May heat! The staff was very friendly, from the front desk to room service/housekeeping to restaurant staff. The room was very comfortable and had a great view. There are several restaurants to choose from. The buffet is accessible at all times, but you do need to make reservations for the more specialty restaurants. Highly recommend the Mexican restaurant! The location is beautiful and they serve really good local Oaxacan specialties. One thing I wish was different: The pools were not ideal for "partying". There are three pools- one for kids with a basketball court, one "adults pool", which really seemed to be geared towards more elderly folks, as there was no music allowed. The other is a large pool with one shallow side being full of kids and where the entertainment staff does their stuff, mostly geared towards kids. The other side is deep, which could really use some handle bars to hold on to to lounge and not have to tread water, and more entrance/access points. Ideally, an adult pool with good music and a swim-up bar would be a game changer! We had a great time!

Yelp
Our family took a second trip to Huatulco, we stayed at Las Brisas. The staff here is awesome, Derman is in charge of the transportation and will assist you if your looking to explore the surrounding towns. Tanny and Anna are always waiting with a smile at breakfast and lunch and are always nice to talk to. The beaches are great pool activities are great. The beach wait staff are hard working and fun. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
This is my second time visiting this city and I can tell you that you can find much more for far less. The service was absolutely horrible. The first day, they made a mistake on my reservation and I was supposedly "upgraded" to make up for that mistake (strategic move but definitely not an upgrade). That room smelled awful so they had to change me and then I got a call saying that they found my reservation and I was going to get moved AGAIN. The rooms are subpar with zero view (unless you like lots of pebbles). To make matters worse, the staff is unfriendly, pool closes at 8 and transportation is confusing. Avoid this hotel!

Yelp
Terrible customer service from Omar Águilar from concierge...this is a highly price hotel with a low quality trained staff; unfortunately!..for the high prices at Las brisas you would think concierge would be more polite, respectful and helpful! I would not bother to come here.

Yelp
The hotel staff is very friendly. They have recommended us places to eat and sea and they have all been amazing. The view from our balcony they said was partial but however we can see the entire bay from it as well as the pool. The prices are very reasonable for dinner and drinks. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Avoid the headache, frustration and waste of money. The hotel has several attractions but they either close early or you'll be greeted by unfriendly staff. I booked 3 rooms two months in advance and they still managed to make a mistake with my reservation. The hotel is big so that it's separated into 3 towers. My family had to be separated due to their mistake. The worst part is that they had to downgrade our rooms which resulted in us getting the wrong amount of beds. We had to be moved two times before my family could finally be together. Staff is flat out rude and there is no doubt that they need more training.

Yelp
This place is horrible. It is so busy that they treat you like a herd of cattle. They literally take your luggage and put it in a different place with everyone else's luggage. After you check in, you go dig your luggage out. The rooms and restaurants are literally a mile from check in. They cart you around like cattle to your rooms. Got to my room and the key did not work. Took a little over an hour to get a key that worked. After an hour of heat and sweating, I was finally able to get into my room. Called to get a ride to the restaurant and waited 30 minutes for someone to show before I finally gave up. Was tired and went right to bed. Got up the next morning and could not log into the internet. It would not accept my last name and phone number. They also charge for the coffee in your room. I checked out immediately. Checking out was not an easy process. I will not stay here again.

Yelp
One of the best resort option to get rest and have a lot of fun with the acuatic activities and a semi virgin landscapes.
