I showed up without prior booking, as I noticed on the Booking.com app that they still had availability. I prefer, when possible, to book directly through the hotel to support the hotel and not the “middle man”.
However, upon arrival, the hotel wanted to charged me €35 more than the price on Booking, saying “I must’ve seen a different hotel”. I did not, but was too tired to care about the extra charge.
Overall, this left a bit of a sour taste. The hotel is fine, but honestly worth what I had seen it advertised for, not more than that🤷♂️
- The room was too hot and there’s no airco. It was only low 20C, not that hot hot yet.
- Food is pretty tasty and the restaurant staff was friendly, but I wouldn’t go for the menu again - just order order a la carte.
-Gym is fine, but lacking free weights (there are only 3 pairs of weights)
-Spa/sauna I’m sure is nice, but because of the restrictive opening hours, I didn’t make it
All in all, rigidness of staff and policy hold this hotel and restaurant back
