"Occupying one of the elegant mansions built along Sóller’s tree–shaded Gran Via, the eight-room L’Avenida has the vibe of a swanky house party. The central white-marble staircase and mahogany railing are part of the original Art Nouveau design by Joan Rubio, a student of Gaudí, as are the pine doors and certain other decorative flourishes. And while the owners have given this place an edgy Rat Pack look—with black chandeliers, tufted leather headboards, dark oak parquet, contemporary art, and bold lighting fixtures—L’Avenida has a palpable old-world charm. Rooms are exceptionally spacious, with high ceilings and large windows; most still have the original moldings. The pool in the garden is lined with sun loungers upholstered in fuchsia canvas. With buckets of style and a friendly staff, L’Avenida makes Sóller very much part of the new generation of design hotels."

I give this hotel the top marks because it fully met my expectations. We had Room 2, which contained a Queen size bed; large enough to sleep 3 to 4 persons! The shower was good and spacious. We didn't need to touch the AC as the room was always at a perfect cool temperature and not noisy at all to disrupt sleeping. ||Breakfast was pleasant with fresh fruit and pastries amongst other cold stuff, with options for hot breakfast to be cooked to order. Breakfast was at the terrace surrounding the pool.||The pool is on the smaller side but sufficient for swimming. Plenty of sun beds and as the pool area is surrounded by shade, there is a good choice between lying in the sun or being in the shade. Its a small hotel and the pool area was never busy.||The hotel is away from the main square so tends to be quiet (aside from a few hours during the day with children playing nearby), and is a very short walk to the square. We ate at different restaurants each night and four of these were less than 400 yards walking. This is a small hotel but packs a punch in quality. The only downside of the size is a lack of a bar open in evenings which you tend to get with larger hotels.||Lastly, I need to mention the politeness and attention of the team that work there. All are very helpful and are clearly trained to ensure guests are fully satisfied.

We had an amazing stay here as a couple! Matthew, Anna, Karen and all the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern with air conditioning and lovely facilities. The pool is really nice with many sun loungers to choose from. The lunch on offer was also great. It’s an excellent location within only a few minutes’ walk from the main plaza in Sóller and is conveniently across the street from a large car park. Would definitely stay here again!

We were welcomed with a glass of Cava and shown to our room which was extremely spacious - lovely bedroom/living space and the bathroom was huge. Lovely bedding and comfortable pillows. Towels were soft and fluffy. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection. Pool area was nice and always able to get sunbeds. The hotel is located in a beautiful avenue and easy to get around the town or indeed to get transport to surrounding areas. I haven’t given the hotel a five star rating as I think it could make some adjustments to make the stay even more memorable - a coffee machine in the room rather than instant coffee, bath salts to use in the beautiful bath, hair conditioner rather than just shampoo. Perhaps also some soft music in the background, particularly in the evening to add some atmosphere whilst enjoying the surroundings. Overall, the staff were attentive and we feel well looked after.

This hotel is so lovely. The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room (no 4) was really nice and spacious with beautiful views of the mountains, the bathroom was huge with a really nice shower with soft towels. Breakfast is served out on terrace by the pool and there was a large selection of things available every morning. The pool was the perfect size and there is never a problem getting a sunbed. The location of the hotel was great being close the the town square, restaurants and the tram and train stop.||There are a few things which I will point out...|Bedroom - the duvet was too small for the cover which moved around a bit and needed putting back in place occasionally, we had to ask for tea bags and milk to be replaced, this was only done once. |Pool - the sun generally hits the terrace around 11am, there is a nursery next door and the children play outside all the time until around 3pm so is quite noisy until then.||We really enjoyed our stay at L'Avenida. Thank you to all the staff who made it so enjoyable.

This perfectly located Hotel was a little gem, situated a short stroll from the main square. Beautifully designed and decorated, they had thought of everything to make this a very memorable stay. Matthew, the Hotel manager went above and beyond to make sure that we got the most out of our 4 night stay, recommending and booking all our restaurants in the evenings. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good and substantial. I would defnitely recommend this small. quiet Hotel.

This was our second visit to L'Avenida and we love everything about it. It's in a perfect position, just a few minutes walk to the main square which is a great place to eat and drink. The hotel is quiet and very peaceful, which is lovely when you're sat around the pool enjoying the sun. We enjoyed fantastic breakfasts every day, with plenty of choice. The service from Matthew, Karen, Sarah and all the staff is second to none, they make you feel very welcome and are really friendly and helpful. I'm sure we'll be back!

First visit to both Sollér and Mallorca, and will definitely not be our last! A brilliant hotel with incredibly friendly and hospitable staff and management. Rooms were very comfortable and perfect for our stay! Excellent breakfast offerings of both a buffet of local delights and cooked to order options! The L’Avenida team were more than happy to provide great suggestions for local cuisine that was very helpful for first timers! ||All round, an excellent stay, and shall definitely be intending to return!

We celebrated our wedding in Soller in July 2023. We stayed at L'Avenida with our closest friends and family for the week of our wedding and we could not have asked for a better experience. Our party reserved all 12 rooms in the hotel and Matthew, Karen and the rest of the team could not have done enough for us! Having stayed in L'Avenida (and some other hotels) the year before, we were quick to choose L'Avenida as the hotel we would like to stay in for the celebrations. As an LGBTQ+ couple, we also felt extremely comfortable and welcomed by the staff. The rooms are immaculate, regardless of whether you're in the largest or smallest available room. The food and drinks are fantastic and very reasonably priced - possibly the best breakfast selection we've had, particularly for a small boutique hotel. The pool area is well cared for - Matthew and Karen were always about to check the towels, manoeuvre umbrellas, serve drinks and enjoyed a friendly chat! Our friends and family still speak of the wonderful few days they spent at L'Avenida and how great all of the staff were. Myself and my wife cannot wait to return to the hotel for our one year anniversary this year (and hopefully for many more in the future!)
