My family had booked a VRBO which ended up being an awful place to stay, but in wandering the nearby neighborhood we came across this adorable boutique hotel. They were able to accommodate us last minute and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are compact, efficient but well appointed and brilliantly designed with a fun sense of style. All the beds are extremely comfortable, great showers, a quiet place in a phenomenal location. We stayed in a family sized room, huge king bed with pull out sofa bed easily accommodated parents and two kids, and you can combine two adjacent rooms on the entry level to sleep 9 or 10 people adjoined together. There's a nice lobby lounge and bar with a lower patio and an upper deck patio, they have a nice evening happy hour with half priced drinks. We only had breakfast on the morning we departed but it was really nice and fresh and a great way to start the day. The real highlight, though, was the staff. They were so warm and accommodating and helpful, bent over backwards to help us in every way. Raluca was a delightful, kind, and encouraging presence every time we came and went, thoughtful to us and our children. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay again on a future visit.

Hotel Le Bellechasse is a beautiful boutique hotel with a friendly, accommodating staff. It’s well located near Musee D’Orsay and metro stops but also on a side street that is quieter and allows for peaceful sleep. The decor was unique and added to the experience of being somewhere special. The bed was comfortable and room was equipped with mini-fridge, robes and slippers, and a safe. I asked the front desk if they had an iron I could borrow and was given one immediately. I would love to stay here again!

Wow! I am so very impressed by this hotel. From the hospitality to the large sized room, the view, the location and the amazing buffet breakfast! I would rate the stay a 10 if I could! I wish I was staying longer! If you want a perfect location, best breakfast you have ever had and the kindness of genuine hospitality this is the place to stay! I am going to the Musee d Orsay now which is right outside the hotel entrance! As I am writing this review I was given a water and a free beautiful book “Monuments of Paris”. I feel like so loved. What a beautiful memory to have with me forever! Thank you thank you thank you Le Bellechasse Saint Germain!

The highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff—they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location is equally impressive, just a short walk from both the Musée d'Orsay and the Louvre, yet tucked away in a peaceful spot amidst the bustling city. The environment is serene and well-maintained, offering a refreshing escape from the crowds while still being conveniently central. Whether you're an art lover or simply seeking a tranquil retreat, this place strikes the perfect balance. Highly recommend!

I stayed at the Hotel Bellechasse in July, 2025 for 4 nights with my granddaughter. We loved it! It was certainly a different experience from the more generic hotel options. The hotel is located a two minute walk to the Musée d'Orsay, which is my favorite museum in Paris. The personnel were lovely during our stay. They were very helpful and even lent me an iPhone cable one night that my cable would not charge my phone anymore. We visited during a tremendous heatwave, so we were especially grateful that the air conditioning worked perfectly. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a small, friendly and well-located hotel.

An adorable boutique hotel designed by Christian Lacroix. 33 rooms that are quirky and small. Recommended for location right by the Musee d’Orsay and easy access to Tuileries across the Seine. Invalides metro is 10 minute walk and the Orsay metro is less than 5 minutes.||Service is very polite and efficient. Wi-Fi works well. Breakfast is pretty good.||Recommended for location and service.

Excellent location. Stylish rooms. Good breakfast. The most welcoming and attentive staff. Rooms are quiet and the bathrooms good (for Paris where they can be small and a little awkward to use). Recommended for a chic stay in the 7th arrondissement - two minutes to the Musée d’Orsay and 15 minutes walk to Notre Dame. Plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby.

My bedroom was pretty small, especially for 300 euros per night. There was not a proper shower just a bath tub with a shower head and some horrible plastic shower curtains. The room decor was also very garish, but not in a stylish way - it looked cheap. The hotel lift sounded ancient felt like it was going to stop working at any moment. The only really good thing going for the hotel is its very central location next to the Musee d’orsay and river. Otherwise its a 3 star hotel charging 4 star prices.

Yelp
Upon arrival at this unique and beautiful property I was greeted by the friendly front desk staff. The staff spoke English which was a great relief. I arrived early in the day and was allowed an early check-in and given a complementary room upgrade. To get to my room I was led up a private staircase off the lobby. Room 101 was unique and whimsical with a private lanai. The location of the hotel was perfect just a short 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame. The staff was helpful and offered wonderful restaurant recommendations during my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Paris.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. We arrived via Eurostar around 10am and were promptly shown our room. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Room seemed average sized for Paris, with amazing decor/design by Christian Lacroix. Literally everything in the room was amazing to look at from the graphic wallpaper to the furnishings. Deep soaking tub in sleeping area was a nice idea, but ended up being a comic relief in actual use as we fumbled with the sprayer, making a bit of a mess. It also adds a good bit of humidity to the room which luckily the excellent AC handled. Literally nothing in Paris seemed air conditioned in the 90f heat, so our ice cold AC in the room was a welcome sight. Excellent housekeeping services. Super close to Musee de Orsay, the Louvre, and 2 metro stations as well as a bus line. Lots of local-type restaurants nearby, including Chez Graff. We didn't try the hotel breakfast, though it looked good.

Yelp
The location of this hotel can't be beat: across the street from the Musee d'Orsay, steps from the Seine, on a charming little rue filled with food and gift shops. But the rooms, while decorated by Lacroix in a fun, quirky style, are tiny. Others have complained about the bathrooms--if you go with the Privilege rooms or above, you will have a separate bathroom and wc. However, our shower, while wonderful, with many stream options, was difficult to open, and leaked all over the floor. The staff, except for the lovely woman who works in the breakfast room, was mostly cold and unfriendly. Breakfast was typical French breakfast fare: charcuterie, eggs, sausage, cheese, croissants, with several fresh juices available.

Yelp
Still after leaving this review, I have not been contacted by the hotel and offered any compensation for what I now realize was a potentially dangerous situation, and definitely not right. That I paid full price and had my sleep interrupted on multiple occasions by an out of line employee is shameful. I was trying to get over jet lag and was bothered over and again during early morning hours. When I think back to this it makes me quite upset; at the time I was trying to be gracious and give the benefit of the doubt. I cannot believe what happened and their lack of taking responsibility. And to think it wasn't just one thing- several things happened that were each in themselves very very unprofessional or put me at risk. And I paid, it still would have been wrong if I were staying for free but I paid and got no compens

Yelp
Two steps from the D'Orsay on a quiet street with charming cafes, this St. Germaine location can't be beat. Add the boutique atmosphere and Christian LaCroix decor, and I'd be happy. But what really set this romantic jewel over the top for me was the hospitality of their staff. Professional, efficient, kind, and personable, they attended to all our needs. Our first room was on the ground floor with a private entrance through a sweet little courtyard. Though our room itself was non-smoking, unfortunately, the courtyard was not and was even equipped with ashtrays for smoking guests. I knew right away that we would not be happy with the smoke pouring in. They were fully booked for the night, but moved us first thing the next day into a room upstairs, which was perfect. We also were a little chilly in our ground floor room (it was Dec) and they brought us a space heater without even asking. The rooms are small, as is the norm in all city hotels. But it was comfortable and clean and so much fun with different LaCroix wallpaper on every surface. If you're looking for a small casual hotel with funky decor and a wonderful staff of young professionals who personally greet you each time you come and go, Bellechasse is for you. I will certainly be returning as soon as I can, hopefully when it's a bit warmer!

Yelp
The Hôtel Le Bellechasse is a very nice little boutique-style hotel located a few doors down from the Musée d'Orsay in the 7th, a great neighborhood. The service was outstanding, all of the staff were very polite, helpful and a attentive. They have a nice patio which you can smoke on and they will serve you drinks and breakfast here as well. There is a small bar in the lobby and you can get a cocktail anytime. The property is very clean and appears to be very well cared for. Our room, albeit small, was also very clean and comfortably appointed. I thought it was strange that there is no shower and that we were only able to take bathes. If I were to stay here again, I would request a room with a shower (assuming they are available). Also, I would have requested a room on the inside of the hotel because there is a nightclub right outside our street-facing window in the building across the street making it difficult to get a good night's sleep on the weekends. Aside from those two shortcomings this was a very nice place.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to stay in Paris. It is a very small hotel right by the Musee d' Orsay and a 5 minute walk to the Louvre. The rooms are funky and unique. The hotel is designed by Christian Lacroix, which means an entire wall might be a butterfly. The bathrooms are on the small side and while some rooms are normal, the toilet can be in a tiny closet, reminds me of a motor home. But everything in the room is high quality, the linens, the bath products, the mattress, the technology (even an iPod dock and free WiFi). The breakfast is okay, and I like to eat there when we stay. It's a convenient way to start the day in a cool Christian Lacroix style room. Others were eating at the little shop next door, and you can, it's quite a bit less expensive, but I didn't like the food much. The room service is limited, only a few items and probably not prepared on site. But there are so many amazing places to dine in Paris, just eat while you are out. In fact, one of the best restaurants in Paris, L'Atelier, is right around the corner. We stayed there once on New Years Eve and the view from the bridge on the Seine right by the hotel was lovely. You have a peek-a-boo view of the fireworks from the Eiffel Tower sparkling over the river.

Yelp
This place offers great location. The rooms are all a bit different and some can be kind of funky. For example, the toilet was in a small private room and the tub and sink were on the other side of the room. No traditional shower, which forces you to take a bath (not that I mind) with a shower head attachment for washing hair, etc. There wasn't a door from the room to the tub so make sure you either 1) go with someone you are completely comfortable with, or 2) make sure the room you get has a bathroom door. A good nights sleep with friendly staff. While extremely pricey, we tried the breakfast once, good food and amazing bread and cheese, but you might be able to find something just as good by wandering around town. You pay for convenience, service, and atmosphere.

Yelp
My sweetheart and I showed up a day before our rented flat would be available on our recent holiday in Paris, and I was surprised by a night in this tiny fantasy of a hotel. I am a lucky lady to have such a charmer! The hotel is a jewelbox - staying in our room was like staying in a cabinet of curiosities for a night. It's brilliantly located: a stone's throw from the Solférino Metro, Le Musée d'Orsay, Le Musée du Louvre and goodness knows what else. Wander out for a walk by the Seine under the stars on a cold winter night! Saunter into any number of patisseries! Drink it all in! Room service is limited and pretty much just pricey cold dishes for dinner as far as I could tell; I ordered the single vegetarian entree - a vegetable pasta dish, strikingly similar to the appetizer plate of a vegetable pasta dish - as it was late and I was absolutely starving. But, really, was I staying here for the food or to just bask in the loveliness of it all?

Yelp
I had an excellent stay at Hotel Bellechasse. I got a great deal purchasing through the website Jetsetter. The hotel is located on Rue Bellchasse, nearby Musée d'Orsay, in Saint Germain. Awesome, pretty, and relatively quiet area. Upon arriving, the staff was friendly and accommodating. I checked in promptly, and was assigned to room 106, a nice room with a large bed. It seems that there are two rooms with balconies, and this room was one of them. What a highlight! I enjoyed opening the tall double doors out to the balcony for fresh air - and to step out onto the 2nd floor balcony. Not very private as you tend to stand out to passer-bys, but regardless, it is a great feature. The room was well sized, with nice features & bathroom. Would I stay again? Yes, absolutely.

Yelp
Charming little hotel. Good value but know that Rooms are small. Our bath tub was in the bedroom. We had an outside seating space right outside our room which was cool. Great location and convenient.

Yelp
This is a magical boutique(tiny but perfect) hotel in the heart of the St.Germain district of Paris where we spent a few nights last Spring. It had been my bucketlist hotel because it was designed by Christian LaCroix and every detail lived up to my expectations. I didn't expect the location to be so close to everything. It is literally on the same street as Musee D'Orsay and across the Seine is the Louvre and Tuileries Gardens. You can see down the gardens right into the Arc De Triompe. Walking around the streets of the St.Germain from morning til night, at my favorite cafes since I've been going to since high school to discovering new ones, just breathing in the air and being able to walk within minutes back to this little, quiet room was heaven. The room is shockingly small by American standards or even NY standards and was half the size of the room we were in another part of Paris (KUBE Hotel, Montmartre) but the location and perfection of the staff and room, we didn't notice it at all. Still talk about it and want to return ASAP. Can't imagine another Paris experience without this hotel. One thing about this room is that if you are planning on sharing it with someone you are not very close to, the bed is a queen size and the bathroom offers very little privacy. The only room that has a King size bed is in a half basement that is not decorated in the LaCroix style, very business like and dark with no natural light. We were offered it but passed. It's a more American business man option in the hotel with absolutely no charm. We had a Splendia deluxe room upgrade but our upgraded room was still a queen size bed due to the building size, and small size of the rooms but like stated above, the absolute charm of the hotel made it all okay and we've traveled a lot before and slept in queen beds in older hotels. The bed is very comfortable but don't expect American luxuries.

Yelp
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The staff at this hotel is very friendly and helpful. Stanislov helped us navigate around the area. Leah provided great recommendations for restaurants and took care of reservations! She even printed directions and translated them into English. It's wonderful to see staff who go an extra mile. The hotel decor (by Christian Lacroix) is beautiful. We had a view of Musee D'Orsay from our hotel room. I would give more stars if I could! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Cute boutique hotel with a great location, short walk to the Orsay and very close to metro station. Rooms and lobby are very artistically done by Christian Lacroix. As with most hotel rooms in Paris, the rooms are quite tiny by American standards but this shouldn't really bother you since Paris is IMO the loveliest city in the world and if you're there you probably shouldn't be spending any significant time in a hotel room.

Yelp
Wonderful place! Centrally located. Air condition and WiFI. Very nice and friendly staff. They all speak english. We will stay here again.

Yelp
Hotel Bellechasse was an excellent choice for our visit to Paris. The service was good, the house cleaning was adequate, and the room designs were amazing. The only thing that was slightly frustrating was getting a food recommendation from the woman at the front desk. Also, the TV was fairly small compared to the hotel standard and the wifi was a bit frustrating to use. All in all, it was a great stay.

Yelp
great hotel, rooms are really clean. a real bathroom would have been better than a bath tub in the middle of the room ( the floor is wet now )
