The room itself was fine. Nothing special, but it was clean and had everything I needed for a night's stay. The issues I had were more with service. I already emailed the hotel directly twice and have heard nothing back in weeks. Upon arrival there was only one person at the front desk and came to find out it was his first night. Felt bad for him - he was doing everything he could, but there was a full lobby of people trying to check-in. Finally, someone else came out to help but only because there was apparently a patron calling from the elevator... because they were stuck in the elevator. Then, a manager came out. So while the lobby was full, and there were 3 people available they only had one *new* person at the desk and only came out because they found out someone was stuck in their elevator. Took over 20 minutes to check in. And then I had to walk up 7 flights of stairs with my luggage because the elevator was stuck. Luckily, I am able-bodied - but no one even asked if I needed help or offered any apologies that I'd be lugging everything up 7 flights of stairs. The fire department had to come while it was taking forever for me to check in, and I heard the manager complaining to someone on the phone angrily saying, "The elevator is not working AGAIN." So this is clearly not a one-time, bad timing type of thing. I had to go up and down these 7 flights multiple times during my stay, and the elevator was still not working the next day when I checked out. I wouldn't have bothered to leave a review if they had responded to my queries on their website. But no one has responded, so the service continues to be the issue there.

We stayed at the hotel in December over the holidays and booked it because it was presented as if it was a very walkable hotel with a rooftop bar. We figured we would be able to celebrate the new year there but there was absolutely nothing open or within walking distance. We also called at the end of the first day because no one had cleaned our rooms. They told us that housekeeping needed to be requested at which point we told them we would like services. After that they still didn’t come any of the days we were there. We were left without towels and soap and there was no water available in the room. We went out of our way to get towels downstairs but they wouldn’t give us bath towels and only hand towels. The entire hotel smelled of marijuana and the heat in the hallway only amplified the smell while the heat and AC in the room didn’t even work. Lastly we were never given back our $100 deposit and when we called to request is we were told the deposit was taken off of the total but that isn’t reflected on the receipt. Overall would not recommend this location. For $400+ a night it was inconveniently located, dirty and overall a bad experience.

Google
Very pleasant hotel on the whole, but be warned: the accessible rooms do not have any door on the bathroom! Just a shower curtain that does not go down to the floor. This somewhat ridiculous, I imagine there was some weird change in how ADA code enforcement was changed because the "non-accessible" rooms have a sliding door that seems easy enough to use with a wheelchair. But yessh, I do not want to share a room with an open toilet with my partner. ||AC worked fine for me, the guy at check in was very helpful and I appreciated everyone who worked there. It's a mid-price hotel and it's overall fine (**especially if you're bringing a car!) but wow, that bathroom situation is nuts unless you're a solo traveler.

Google
The hotel is perfectly located at 4th Street in the park slope neighborhood of Brooklyn. You have free parking on site, the concierge was very friendly and helpful, we had a wonderful room right on top floor, with perfect view of the skyline of Manhattan. Super clean and perfect equipped, we will come back, Great deal!

Google
The worst place you can ever stay at. They told me I can check in early for an extra $35. I said no problem when I arrived they said we’re waiting for a room to get cleaned then they said we can’t check in early, my toddler and I were waiting in the middle of NYC’s coldest weather. I later came back and they said they will not let me check in at the actual check in time. They were racist and very very disrespectful. They denied that they told me I can check in early and lie to my face about it. Really bad and really rude. Extremely unprofessional. They said they have refund me but never refunded me I had to call my bank to get my money back. They literally tried to scam me to my face. Horrible.

Google
Avoid this hotel if you can. Have stayed here multiple times. One time the bathroom door was a piece of plywood, another time just a curtain. Shower curtains are 12 inches short so water covers the floor. AC doesn’t work in the summer. 90% of the time the whole place reeks of weed and people are partying all night in other rooms. Staff don’t care, won’t do anything about it. Try to stay anywhere else if possible.

Google
Stayed here twice. The first time was great, the second was not so much. The room was nice but the trash was not changed from previous customers. The 100 dollar deposit was never returned to me, I’ve called and emailed, never got a response. I would not be staying in this hotel ever again and would not recommend.

""

Google
Positive: Free parking! The room was nice, bed was comfortable, and the staff was so kind! Also loved the European feel and low lighting. Location was perfect and close to the subway or many places to eat/grab a coffee. Would stay again! Negative: ""

Yelp
This Hotel Le Bleu was definitely a better experience. Didn't expect this for a first night visit on New York. We got our room on time. Checked in, napped and went on our way to explore New York. So this is definitely a better experience if you want a 1 night stay hotel in New York. Room is comfortable. There may be construction but it didn't bother us. If you want a comfortable 1 night stay hotel look no further than Hotel Le Bleu.

Yelp
Hotel Le Bleu Stole my money This establishment has scammed me out of more than $300. I do not enjoy public complaining, but I feel I have been left with no choice but to do so in order to warn others about this business and their bad practices. Stay elsewhere. I attempted to make a reservation on their website, which never sent me a confirmation. I followed up to confirm via a message through their website with all my contact information. No response. I called multiple times - their listed phone number rang and no one picked up. Frustrated, I sent another message via their web site contact asking to cancel, if indeed a reservation existed, again with all my info. Nothing. More calls. Nothing. I wondered if they had gone out of business. I booked elsewhere at a hotel that answered their guests' calls. Lo and behold, Hotel Le Bleu went ahead and charged me anyway! I called them and finally reached a human on the second try this time. This person, who claimed to be a manager, informed me that the website was not working properly, and grudgingly agreed to refund my money. However, the credit didn't show up on my card in the 5-10 business days he stated, at which point I filed a dispute through my credit card. The hotel responded by claiming that "the guest did not follow cancellation procedures." Having made all possible efforts to cancel weeks ahead of time, which they were fully informed of, I am furious. They took my money and have wasted my time.

Ekim T.

Yelp
THEY STOLE MY MONEY: No one answers the phone there. Go Ahead--try calling them. When they charge you twice, they make it impossible to fix the problem. I don't recommend this business. I'm also not the only person this has happened to.

Yelp
I identified Hotel Le Bleu for my stay during my getaway to Brooklyn because of its distance from sights and activities of my interest. Out of three other hotel options noted, it was the rating, and the fact that it was affordable as an Expedia package deal that won me over along with it being in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn. When looking for hotel stay, you literally have to look outside of yelp because there are some reviews that will discourage you from considering hotel stay anywhere. So, my planning always involves looking at ratings and reviews from other sites like Expedia which had it rated a 7.8/10 out of 1,008 verified reviews; that rating alone was the only verification I needed to see rather than rely solely on yelp reviews. My experience with the receptionist behind the desk was nothing less than professional. Since my room was already paid for, check-in consisted of the receptionist verifying my information, explaining the rules, and giving me my room key cards. For your information check-in starts at 3 PM and ends at midnight! And check out ends at noon! I absolutely adored the room! Its appearance had a modern-day vibe with its gray wooden decoration that I could not take my eyes off of. And to further charm me out of my panties, I had a room with a balcony overlooking 4th Avenue! It was those things that certainly won me over in spite of the room having a slight musty smell. An adorable thick glass slide door led to the bathroom, which had the most unique shower design inside. And inside of the bathroom, there were mini Essentiel Elements Bathe hygiene products that make great travel hygiene additions. Since I am an avid traveler, I have my collection that I sporadically use. Along with adoring the room, it also met my cleanliness standards. I had no issues whatsoever getting comfortable in the king-sized bed during my overnight stay as my head was engulfed in-between the comfortable pillows. The shower came with dual shower heads, with one being handheld offering multiple spray settings while the overhead one solely discharges a gentle misting spray. Other things the room came with were a Keurig coffee maker, an iron with an ironing board, a safe, and a few electrical outlets with USB inserts. The Wi-Fi internet was easy to connect to and I had no connectivity issues with it during my stay. There are plentiful sights, activities, and restaurants within a radius of Hotel Le Bleu. Some that I experienced and noted were Old Stone House, Prospect Park, Barclays Center, Brooklyn Museum, and Gowanus Canal. I am well open to booking with Hotel Le Bleu again because the hotel did meet my comfort needs and I loved that its location is within an accessible distance of things of my interest in Brooklyn. ~Have courage. Yelp
I'm so mad my phone conked out as I lost all my footage and pictures. Another stop in the tryst tour with my boo. From the outside this hotel looks dreary. The price per night doesn't add up when you're up looking at the gray sad building. Especially during the day. Small parking lot in front. If you don't pay attention you will drive past it like I did. It's wedged between a U-haul location and a staples store. The lobby if you can call it that, is just a receptionist desk and 2 elevators. It lights up blue at night, playing off the name. We were on the third floor I believe. Check in went smooth but it wasn't friendly. They made sure to tell me parking was first come, first served and they weren't responsible for any damages to your vehicle. The room was clean. Everything worked. It rained the night before. So you had to be careful when going on the balcony as you would trek water inside. No balcony furniture. The balcony itself could've benefited from a power wash. Our "beautiful" few of the U-Haul trucks was not it. You get a refrigerator and they give you a Keurig machine with 4 pods, tea and 2 paper cups. There was a standing coat rack, closet and draws for clothes storage. The flat screen had some basic cable but no ability to log into to your own streaming services or connect your smartphone. The bathroom was stocked with enough towels and washcloths. No robes as advertised. I like the sliding barnyard style doors and there was only a standup shower. It was big enough to fit two people and it had a separate closing glass door. The a/c heating unit worked well and they had black out curtains you could slide open or close. I loved that. The decor was modern with a luxurious feel. But cheap. It looked good in pictures. The bed was comfortable enough and we got a good nights sleep. We stayed for 2 days. There is no food onsite. You have to call down to the front desk every time you want ice. This is annoying. I like a lot of ice and sometimes the wait was long. They had some room service card they said you could order liquor, beer and love kits. We didn't bother, cheaper to bring your own. Luckily delivery, restaurants and bars are within walking distance. They are close to trains as well. We snagged it for $250 a night. But I've seen prices be much higher. I like that it's kid free but I don't necessarily ever have to stay here again. The real attraction is free parking, location and every room having a balcony.

Yelp
Super friendly staff A quick walk to the subway Very close to prospect park Clean and quiet

Yelp
Love the location. But, that is the only thing to recommend the place. It's expensive, smells funky, and the elevators don't work -- sorry for the folks on the eighth floor.

Carla L.

Yelp
The room itself was beautiful! And so my style! HOWEVER, I will NEVER book this hotel again. The list of amenities is a joke! The fluffy robe and slippers? Gotta request it. A fully stocked bar? Hasn't happened since before COVID, why is it still on your site? There was no water in the room. No ice bucket. So I placed an order through Instacart for water and snacks. To add injury to insult, housekeeping stole several cold water from the fridge in my room. I'm a cancer survivor that has to take opioids for pain. I have no idea if they went in my medicine or anything else since they were bold enough to swipe my waters. When I mentioned this at checkout I was given a 10% discount off of my final payment which came out to around $20. I was supposed to be receiving a call from the manager. The next day I had a mystery charge. No one can explain what this charge is nor how I received it. The manager refuses to speak to me directly. I now have to deal with my bank in order to get a refund. Professionalism and common courtesy can go a long way. And unfortunately there's very little of that amongst the staff.

Yelp
My husband accidentally booked this hotel instead of the one I suggested...because husbands. Room for one night in the Signature Collection Deluxe King Terrace was $248 on a Friday night. The hotel we were supposed to be at was the exact same price and included a gym, pool and recreation room. The room had a "minibar" (fridge) stocked with two (generic) bottles of water and 4 coffee pods and 2 tea pods with a keurig. All the stuff in the fridge in my photo are things we bought. Matter of fact, there is NO FOOD in this hotel. No vending machine, no room service, no ice machine. However, it is walking distance to places you can eat at. We walked into our room and the light by the door didn't work. The people who stayed before us must have had some sort of celebration to hang decoration because the tape was still there. The bathroom was pretty nice but the water took forever to get warm...never got hot. Same with the sink. The king bed seemed more futon-ish. I slept on something linear and lumpy. I thought my shirt got scrunched up in my sleep. I kept trying to fix it finally realizing it was the bed. It was a bit noisy being the room right by the elevator. We could hear wooshing all day and night. I used the plug on the wall, and the usb ones didn't work. The wifi was so weak, my phone couldn't connect. There was mention of Bose DVD surround sound on the website...it was just the speakers from the tv. The TV was nice; but there was just very basic cable. For a deluxe room, there were no bath robes or slippers- just the towels and no newspaper (which we didn't care about). But why advertise all that and not have any of it? The city view was there, but you'd have to zoom in with your camera to see it. What the actual focal point of that view is the gorgeous view of U-haul trucks parked in the lot and the 1-800-storage building. The reason for my two stars: the people at the front desk were knowledgeable and efficient. Secondly, the parking made it more convenient.

Yelp
I am happy to say after a week of calling, the GM did get back to me and refunded the over charge. Apparently there has been a change in management and processes aren't all they could be. Anyway, all taken care of and they did refund the over charge with quite a bit of apologies. The hotel is really quite nice. Clean, large rooms, nice amenities.

Bonnie B.

Yelp
Great nites sleep. Heat in room was noisy and only one towel?? Mattress was great cuz we are picky. Interior room was very modern and clean with a cute balcony to step out on and view the skyline. Fridge in room but no breakfast. A short walk from many Fifth Ave restaurants. And if you are greeted by Kevin you are lucky. He was so friendly on the phone we decided to stay here instead of Red hook where the check in staff was unfriendly and cold. Thank you Kevin. And you should keep him around hotel le Bleu! Just what we needed.

Larry D.

Yelp
Nice sized rooms and newly renovated. A tad noisy on the weekends. This property was convenient to two subway lines.

James H.

Yelp
Great location if you are visiting Brooklyn - friendly staff - excellent daily cleaning service -

Kelly M.

Yelp
We stayed 1 night at Hotel Le Bleu, King deluxe terrace room. Pros- clean and located in Park slope. Cons- overlooks an enormous UHaul drop off, no lobby, no restaurant, 1 towel stocked, no ice machine, linens average. Staff did bring ice and more towels. For the price $$$, definitely not worth it. Paying only for location.

Lisa M.

Yelp
We stayed at this hotel for a weekend in June 2024. On Saturday night of our weekend stay we awoke to frantic and very loud pounding on our door (3:00 am). At first I thought it may another guest (possibly very drunk) who confused our room with theirs. It stopped after several minutes. Then I began to hear further pounding on doors down the hall. Eventually they ended up at our door again. I called the front desk. They reported the manager was coming up. The pounding continued - I called again and was told the police were called. It did eventually stop. The door felt like it was barely staying in place. It was terrifying. When checking out the next morning I told the girl at the desk I was very unhappy with the previous night - she shrugged and offered nothing. The final insult came when I got my credit card bill and they had charged me twice for my weekend stay. I tried speaking to them directly. Eventually through my credit card company I was refunded. This place is poorly managed obviously. And apparently anyone can access the elevator. They need security. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Yelp
Had to update this. I'll be back whereas before I doubted it. Here's the deal: 1. It's very loud. There is a ton of construction around, a children's school next door with loud screaming children, a uhaul and lots of fire trucks sirens etc. The 1-3am construction work prevents sleep along with the uncomfy bed. 2. The Manhattan view is not from the room. If you have a terrace then you can stand out on it and see the view. During the day there's lots of buildings between with construction etc, so it's hard to enjoy it, but at night it's very pretty. If you have a portable chair or blanket bring it because there's no furniture outside. 3. The room was constructed much like most cost effective but modern looking European and Latin American and Caribbean hotels, in fact it even has that oversees stench to it in the lobby. Imagine a 9 story tall building that has 4 rooms on each side of the building and is narrow offset from 4th Ave. It is in a very random location next to a pep boys. At night the lobby lights up blue like a Miami night club! You get a nice flat screen TV, faux wood, faux tile but it all works n looks nice in photos. You get a fridge which is nice too. Blackout blinds. The balcony door opens but you just have to maneuver it a bit to get it open as it gets stuck. Good for smokers or to take pics of the city. The AC works well too. Lighting is good. Most importantly, the beds are not your Marriott Hilton Hyatt types. This is the basic hard platform flat surface you get with low cost quality. Thin linens as well so if you get cold use the heater. 4. Key card system is faulty. They had to use the main hotel key to open my room so I did not even have keys for a while. 5. The Thursday am staff is sweet but ultra ghetto sorry guys. They came bangin on my door like the police because they thought my room needed cleaning and some guy was trying to open my door with his key and asked when i was checking out, so I yelled back that I had just checked in and had no keys bc the system is broken! I shared I had to go up and down the elevator twice to the lobby bc my keys didn't work. Noe this?! Really. I was so irritated. I was finally catching a quick nap after long travels and some guy comes banging on my door asking when I'm leaving and proceeds to try to access my room using his master key. Then he realizes he's wrong apologizes and starts cursing the team out in the hallway. This hotel is not big, maybe 35-40 rooms at best. You can hear everything. They need more professional management stat! 6. Location is very close to 5th st food and shopping and to the subway and prospect park. 7. No free breakfast, actually no food in the building period! 8. There's free parking but it's limited. So call ahead!

Vanessa T.

Yelp
This hotel is interesting. It's in kind of an industrial area but very close to lots of restaurants, shops, bars, etc. The lobby is very small and doesn't look like much but the rooms are very modern and attractive. Everything was clean and the bed and pillows were super comfy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The downsides are that there are no vending machines, no ice machine, and no room service. With DashDash and so many things close by, those were not deal breakers. I will say that not having an ice machine was probably the biggest inconvenience. The power button on the TV remote didn't work, and there was one light fixture that didn't work, but I'm assuming those things were not reported so I didn't hold them against the hotel. I actually did not report them either. We did not have a vehicle for this trip, but this hotel does have a parking lot which is a great convenience, especially in this area! Overall, I was very satisfied with this location and the rates, and would definitely stay again!

Jon D.

Yelp
My son and I stayed here for two nights. Room was nice and the beds were comfortable. The shower was large. They have Direct TV. Parking was free. There was no breakfast or food. The area was okay at best. But we had no real complaints.

Kathy ..

Yelp
During my stay at Hotel Le Bleu on January 1-3, 2024 I ingested fumes of gas. I am still feeling nauseated today, well over 24 hrs later. I stayed in room 205 and checked out early morning 1/3/24. After speaking to the General Manager this afternoon who claims to be a private owner, I was disappointed in finding out that he had no interest in accepting accountability and/or compensating me for my awful experience. It's apparent that other customers were exposed as well. I am certain that the hospital charge will cost more than him compensating me for the room charge. I will seek further!

Yelp
Horrible hotel Dont be fooled by the pictures... Many broken items, smoke and marijuana filled hallways!!!! WAIST OF MONEY I WE LEFT IN 20 MINUTES!!!! So dirty not clean at all.....

Christian M.

Yelp
This hotel is definitely not my first choice, but I booked it because it was my only choice as it had an ADA accessible room. Upon entering the hotel, the ambiance was off. There is no lobby, just a reception desk adjacent to a set of elevators. There was no ADA button or automatic opening of the front doors.: the reception area is lit by a blue hued lighting that is somewhat dark and cheap- coming of as low end. This, no doubt, was some sort of play off of their name "hotel le blue". The receptionist was unable to find my reservation as I booked it through a third party- hotels.com. They proceeded to tell me I should call them and ask but I insisted I made it and they should try looking once more, they found it. I also took note of a TripAdvisor score of 8.1 posted on a piece of paper behind the desk dated 2021. When I pointed that out I was assured the score "probably went up since then." It is a 7.5 as of 2023, I was to be on the second floor of the hotel. When I exited the elevators to the second floor of the hotel I was greeted with the familiar dim blue lighting of the ground floor and a very VERY strong smell of weed. The air was still a bit hazy as if a person was hot boxing their room. I entered my room and immediately vomited - I am allergic to weed. I called the front desk and they changed my room to one floor up. The room was very big and spacious and the roll in shower was great (hence the 2 stars and not 1). Upon looking around the room, I saw a NO SMOKING sign posted which made me cackle a bit, then I saw a room service menu. I was a bit thirsty so I called and asked for some items of which they had none stating that "we had stopped that and had low stock during COVID" it is 2023, COVID response should not be a response anymore, it's a convenient excuse. Upon returning from the city the next day we were also informed they don't clean the rooms or bring up towels unless asked. When asked why, again they used the COVID cop-out, stating "that's what we did during COVID." The bathroom door also did shut. The door is barn style, meaning it is a door that rolls on a track. I guess the track wasn't level because the door would roll open when closed, there was no locking mechanism. The hotel is very walkable to BROOKLYN and a lot of very good food places which is desirable. One of the only good caveats. Would not stay here again.

Toby G.

Yelp
Very noisy -we heard way too much from neighboring rooms which is weird because it's a pretty new building. Our room was not ready for more than 2 hours after check in. Cost of our room: $400 (fri) $600 (sat) $200 (sun and mon). Coffee in room was a Keurig machine, no food available anywhere in the hotel. No housekeeping service during our stay. I'm wondering if this hotel was sold to a new owner who cut back on amenities. Location was convenient for us but we would never stay here again.

Travis H.

Yelp
This little gem has all the potential to be a diamond in the rough My wife chose this hotel because it's in the neighborhood that her parents was raised in and also a 15min walk to her grandfather's home. Not knowing much about the brand we just took a chance and it was a great choice. We spent 7 days here and we truly didn't have any complaints the staff was AWESOME every shift it didn't matter. Whatever we needed we received it in timely fashion, it we needed ice or milk or extra blankets or towels the staff were on top of the request!! Our room was just what we needed for my little family two beds and a nice size bathroom. The shower was AMAZING nobody wanted to get out the shower the rainfall shower head was on point only mishap was the sliding door didnt stay closed we had to rig it up with a house slipper to keep it closed while using the bathroom but that's no biggie. Our balcony had a nice view of 3rd ave and some of downtown Brooklyn. Beautiful views. The rooftop was the money shoot you can see the entire NYC skyline from there and that's where i have to give my opinion. This rooftop is not being used at all and i think no i know they're missing out on thousands of dollars a day by not utilizing this amazing view. They should seriously think about having a bar up here even though their website says they have a rooftop bar nope not at all. This bar will bring more locals who can see how nice the rooms are and also that will have the residents staying in house spending more money with the hotel and not some other establishments. We watched the fireworks show from here on the 4th of July and it was a sight to be seen. We definitely will be back here at Le blue amazing staff and rooms and perfect for what we needed

Carol K.

Yelp
Zero is more accurate! Despite a family emergency and 3 days notice, the hotel with booking.com would not refund my cancellation. Both are despicable! Besides, the only reason people stay at an overpriced place like Hotel Le Bleu is that the demand for lodging is higher than the supply! otherwise, this hotel will ugly grey rooms overlooking U-Haul trucks, smelly rooms despite 'no smoking' signs, AC that is cheap and loud--this hotel(and similar Brooklyn Hotels like the Marriott) would not have any guests!!!! They are so lucky the parents are visiting children in the area! Someday, noone will stay here in Brooklyn at Hotel Le Bleu!

Brendan F.

Yelp
Stayed here for 2 nights for a show at the Bell House. Super comfy beds, coffee maker in room for the AM, giant TV for when you need to recharge in the room. Super friendly staff, check in was easy. Only note would be, that the staff could use a brush up on restaurant recommendations in the area, but I was happy to share how awesome the ramen shop I found was, with the front desk attendant when I got back. If i'm in Brooklyn for another show at the Bell House, will definitely stay here and recommend to others. Others I see complained that the rooms were noisy from both outside noise, and hallway noise, but I had no issue sleeping through both nights. Thanks for a great stay! P.S. I see a lot of people complaining about the lack of amenities like restaurant, vending machines, gym or ice. What a ridiculous complaint. You're in NEW YORK. GO OUT AND EXPLORE. Exercise by walking around like a human. There's So Much to do outside the hotel.

Doggie L.

Yelp
My husband and I recently stayed for 4 nights. Room is spacious and looks nice. That's about where it ends. This is how we found it upon arrival: NO HOT WATER for 1.5 days!!! No iron No hairdryer No bathrobes / slippers No morning newspaper No breakfast of ANY sort Empty mini-fridge Bumpy mattress (certainly not orthopedic!) By third day - the halls / elevator smelled of marijuana I wrote 3 times to management and NO answer from anyone!!

Jeroslyn J.

Yelp
Very clean hotel. Spacious room and spacious shower. The view from the balcony's in the back are nice. I would consider this an affordable quality stay in BK. The wife isn't great and they don't give enough sheets or pillows for the bed.

Stoney B.

Yelp
I had a double bed with balcony, the check in process was easy and fast. The rooms was size appropriate for New York hotel it was very nicely decorated , and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms was clean and beds were comfortable. The location is very convenient for walking to grab food and I love having Whole Foods just around the corner. All around a good stay !

Yelp
I didn't feel the blues at Hotel Le Bleu. This was a great stay. They have free-parking for hotel guests! It's rare to find a place that has parking in NYC, let alone free parking. They even allowed us two parking passes though we only had 1 hotel room (only 2 people staying). I booked on Hotel Tonight and it was under $85 for one night. It was an incredible deal considering the price includes parking and complimentary breakfast. They also had donuts/pastries in the lobby that you could eat throughout the day. I did smell a faint marijuana smell in the hallway but it didn't carry into the bedroom and it didn't bother me. Check-in and check-out was easy. The rooms are spacious and incredibly modern. I loved that you could access all of the room's lights from the bed. The bed was comfortable and wide and I loved that the pillows were lower and flatter rather than overstuffed. Tall pillows put a strain on my neck. I loved the glass sliding door on the bathroom, the walk-in shower with wood tile, the rain shower head, the tan sink, the lit bathroom mirror, large TV, black-out sliding blinds, view of the parking lot (so I could keep an eye on my car), the delivered complimentary breakfast, the USB outlets and the walkability of this place. For the breakfast, you choose a time and your free breakfast is delivered straight to your door. I was confused in the morning when I heard a knock at 8AM but it turned out to be the neighbors' wake-up call. You can hear everything that goes on in the small hallway but there weren't many things going on so this didn't bother me. Breakfast included banana, cream cheese, honey, jams, croissant, whole milk, yogurt, and Cheerios. You can walk to a lot of restaurants from here. I would recommend anyone stay here and I would definitely stay again.

Yelp
So I had a reservation at this location for my 10th Wedding Anniversary... I thought from researching that it would be a great place for our "Blue Theme" It was easy to find and luckily parking was available at the hour that my husband and I pulled in which was around 10pm... At the reception desk, customer service was horrible, the front desk clerk was not welcoming at all, attitude was written all over her face, like if you don't like your job... find one you will... She preceded to tell me that my reservation was cancelled and didn't have a reason why... She then screenshot my reservation and sent it to her manager... Now I pre paid for The Signature Collection Deluxe King Terrace Manhattan View $250 for the night. The clerk gave me a key to room 604 after an hour of going back and forth. My husband and I preceded to the elevator to the 6th floor and what a surprise, the view was overlooking a uhaul graveyard... I immediately went back downstairs and told the clerk this is not what I paid for "it's my 10th wedding announcement for heaven sakes" she didn't care about me or my anniversary, she sent a girl with me to look at another room but it was the same set up just different floor... In the room there was only one towel and washcloth, I called her for another she said that she was the only person working and she would get it later. My husband attempted to be helpful and go down and retrieve the towels himself, she continued with her story that she was the only employee working. So no I never received the towels... There was no robes, no bottled water in the compact refrigerator... The room looked nothing like the picture or the description so don't be fooled... The shower was nice, the bed was hard. My husband and I checked out at 7am... upon checking my bank account, hotel le bleu charged me a $50.00 deposit and then took another $197... I called to speak with a manager and he or she never came to the phone... They left the poor clerk to deal with my wraith. The ending was I got my $248 back in my account within 48hours... I would not recommend this location period. P.S. it wouldn't let me post if I didn't rate it so 1 star it is... it's a negative 10 for me.

Yelp
Big bang for your buck! They're not a 5-star hotel, nor do they claim to be, however they are excellent for a hotel within their caliber. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, the room was clean, nice, and we had a nice view. It was nice of them to include breakfast, so no complaints there. Each morning, at a time chosen by us, they delivered a box with a croissant, an apple, yogurt, Cheerios, mandarin oranges, butter, honey, jam, and cream cheese. Solid. There was a small parking lot, however there wasn't a parking space for us every night when we returned, so that's a crap-shoot. It wasn't difficult to find parking around the area, we just had to be out by 9 to move the car. My only complaint is that the hallway smells like marijuana, but I'm not going to rate them down because of this because a) the minute I stepped into our room the smell was gone and b) what are they supposed to do, screen every guest? I don't see that as their fault. We definitely feel like we got what we paid for, and would certainly recommend this place!

Yelp
When you enter the hotel, you are in a tiny enclosed space that is like the place you pay at a parking garage. The guys behind the counter are not unfriendly but don't welcome you in any way other than making sure you sign for the huge damage deposit. Elevator floors are stained. Seat in shower has handwritten sign "broken". Worst of all: smell of cigarette smoke and mold in the bathroom possibly from shower curtain hanging off rings. I checked out early. There is no manager on site - just the guys behind the counter who say the off site manager (if they really exist) will call about refunding me for the rest of my stay and the damage deposit.

Yelp
Great staff. They're very accommodating, professional, and nice. The room is very intimate and nice.

Yelp
I was at Hotel Le Bleu for 3 nights and I was really happy with the service here. Victor and Eric were like Batman and Robin giving me extra pillows with the quickness. I called to complain about the air conditioner not working one day and guess what...these dudes asked if someone could come up right now...that propelled me to ask..."Like...right now"...they said yeah....I said cool..but in my mind I said...using my Oakland ebonics... fo shizzle my nizzle...which means hell yeah...they fixed it. Now the only thing that I would say could be improved is that door to the bathroom. I understand we want to be unique, but ...I tend to have louder than normal farts and there was no way to filter them like I normally do which meant all other parties in the vicinity were able to enjoy that special sound. A solid bathroom door that can be locked would make this stay even better, but its still 5 stars in my book.

Yelp
The front desk was nice and courteous. They have pastries in the lobby, which was nice. The showers are very nice, and large. The amenities were nice. And they bring breakfast to your room in the morning. The blue lights are a little bit weird as others have mentioned but it didn't bother me that much. My biggest complaint was that although they are non-smoking, my room smelled like smoke. And they had no extra rooms they could move me to. So, I had to prop my door open and sit in my bed with my full winter coat and gear( as it was 20 degrees outside) for about 30 minutes to air it out. It worked though, and the room did not smell like smoke after. Still, I feel like they should have tried to air it out before bringing in another guest.

Yelp
it's terrible and bad service, they push me check out 3 times ,i just late about 5mins to checke out, they charge me about 100 dollars for the fee,i hate this type of service。 i will never come back。 I wish everyone don't go to this place。 They will push you to check out。 If you late check out ,they will charge you 100 dollars for the fee and they add taxes in it。It's so terrible and worst hotel i have never lived。

Yelp
My mom booked this place last minute and to both of our surprise it was very nice! It's a small hotel, but the interior of the rooms is pretty modern. The bathroom was a smedium size, but again, the hotel isn't that large. Everything was great and the staff were so sweet! My only gripe is that there isn't a parking lot. More so a small parking area so be prepared to find parking! Overall would I recommend this hotel? Yes! Would I come back? Without question

Yelp
Mediocre place. Weird room setup where there is a glass wall between the room and bathroom. While it does allow one to watch TV while showering, would have preferred a wall. Bed was comfortable and room reasonably clean and we had a nice view of the UHaul Truck Rental Yard from our room. We had several issues with our stay 1. Horrible WiFI - GoGo Inflight at 39,000 feet is faster 2. Unable to control shower temperature (very hot) 3. Knob fell off shower, could have broke my toe 4. Unable to control heat (had to put at 60) 5. Limited parking (they have about 15 spots - nice they are free - if you can get one) 6. Sidewalks and parking area not cleared (snowed when we were there) PS: All the blue lights were creepy. Hotel Le Bleu needs a major refresh, including mechanicals.

Yelp
Lovely little hotel. Charming parking attendant helped us in the lot. There is a lot but very limited spaces. Staff offered great advice for parking in area. Warm greeting at the desk. Fresh pastries, coffee and juice offered in lobby. Room was large, clean and modern. All the travel conveniences/amenities you need. Bottles of water and Starbucks Keurig in room. Comfortable beds. Huge showers. Quiet and pleasant stay. CONS: not a great area. hallways a little beat up.

Yelp
No bar. No restaurant. No vending machines. No ice machines on floors (you have to call, wait, and tip). No gym. No luggage racks. Nicely updated small rooms. Not real clean. Noisy.

Yelp
I spent 2 nights in there it was like a nightmare They allowing people to have parties and loud music. I called the front desk and made a complaint Absolutely they didn't respond I was promised to get refund for one night at least But didn't get it this hotel's an absolute bad choice

Yelp
The staff is sweet . ( Eve, night shift and Lilly, day shift) . THIS HOTEL IS UP TO DATE AND THE WINDOW VIEW IS LOVELY! NO BEDBUGS! HOWEVER, the room cleaning sucks. If you don't call for it, it's not ganna happen. I had 4 days of trash in my room and they never made my beds until I complained. I didn't give it more stars because the breakfast is so cheesy. And getting a cup of coffee seed to be rocket science. ROOM SERVICE SUCKS! Here is the breakfast menu by the way - smh Muffin or croissant - fruit cup or yogurt.

Yelp
BE ADVISED. This hotel overbooks when the city gets busy. I arrived in NYC by train and, before going from Penn Station to Brooklyn, was advised they overbooked and so were cancelling my PREPAID room! This left me to spend the next hour and half scrambling to find one of the few remaining hotel rooms in the city during UN Meetings week. I have traveled for years, and booked hundreds of hotels, and this is the first time I ever had a prepaid room cancelled on me. It was massively inconvenient, and I ended up staying next to Penn Station--considerable distance from the meeting I had to attend in Brooklyn, near Hotel Le Bleu the next morning. So BE ADVISED, that this may happen to you with Hotel Le Bleu's overbooking practice.

Yelp
As far as looks it's nice BUT the bed is extra extra firm with coils popping out of the mattress you can feel the individual springs.. 2 they haven't changed out pillows in a very VERY long time. They are completely flattened and over due for a replacement. It's clean and pretty but I would prefer an average room with a comfortable bed than a pretty room with a terrible nights sleep. My back and neck hurts.. friendly staff.

Yelp
Hugely disappointing. While the room itself was passable and the bathroom OK, there are zero amenities, and two of the four nights we stayed there we were woken up in the middle of the night by a violent screaming fight either next door or across the hall. Also lots of 2 AM and 3 AM door slamming by other guests. The employees could care less. When we complained, the reaction we got was a shrug... like this happens all the time! No offer to either do anything or make any adjustment to our room charges. Our arrival back to the hotel barely merited a look up from their iphone, let alone a "welcome back." HVAC units are noisy and poorly calibrated...feast or famine. We asked for an extra blanket, which they brought, and housekeeping promptly removed the next morning so we had to go through the same exercise the next evening. That plus the peeling paint on the ceiling of our room and the lovely view of the back side of an industrial-looking U-haul parking lot from our "balcony" room made this the least memorable hotel stay in NY ever. You could not pay me enough to stay there again.

Yelp
Let me start by stating the reason I only gave 4 stars instead of 5. During my checkin I gave my credit card & photo id that I had used to book the room, I noticed the lady that was checking me in making a copy of my credit card which I didn't like nor did I feel comfortable with it so I asked her why was she making a copy & her response was "it's fine we will shred it as soon as you check out" & she needed to make the copy for security purposes. Hmmm, I've been to hotels before & never have I had anyone photocopy my credit card so to me that was a little weird & I get that they're a private hotel BUT I don't think it's such a good idea with so much identity theft going on & whose to say that it will actually be shredded & not thrown some where but anyway I decided to continued on with the checkin since I planned a surprise evening for my husband & he was scheduled to arrive soon for his lovely surprise so I couldn't just cancel & go looking for another hotel with such short notice. Our room was on a lower floor which didn't really matter because the view from the hotel isn't so pleasing but aside from that the hotel is beautiful. Our room was amazing especially the glass enclosed shower! this room was just a whole lot of sexy once I added my finishing touches (rose petals, candles, strawberries & so much more) before my honey arrived. The hotel was also very quiet so if your looking for a quiet hotel, some place where you can sleep & not have to listen to house keeping in the hall talking loud this is the place or if you're just looking for a romantic place to take your significant other this would be perfect! Needless to say I wasn't so happy with the checkin process but when I saw my husbands face as he walked in for his surprise it was all worth it however my husband & I did agreed canceling my credit card would be a good idea, rather be safe then sorry! Perfect hotel for couples!!!!

Yelp
This review is only for the rooftop bar/ "lounge", Vue. After staring at their annoying light show every weekend evening from my living room, I finally decided what's all the hub bub is about. I see a lot of cars queing up trying to look for a spot to park so it shouldn't be too bad right? The line was short and thankfully there was no cover. We arrived to notice a lot of people just sitting, standing, making conversation. A handful of people dancing, but their sound system could definitely be improved. It's not enough to have a good DJ, but sound should be engineered to carried well throughout the given space - which wasn't very big. Yes, it has a nice view of Brooklyn, NY, the Statue of Liberty, but there are a lot of other factors that gives this place low marks. $28 for two vodka shots and a cranberry vodka that burned. Strong cranberry vodka but their house vodka is just nasty. Just talking to a few people at the party, not one was really all that impressed. It's "ok" they mostly said. I personally thought that instead of a light show on their white exterior wall, they should play kung fu flicks like the White Rabbit in the LES. Subtract 15-20 people so people can be more comfortable dancing while being more selective in who gets in. Hire a sound engineer to design acoustics to allow better flow of music thoughout roof. Install an exterior staircase down to the restaurant level's exterior dining area below to allow people the option to go inside and order drinks/ food as well as on the roof. If it weren't for the service this place would have received 1 star. The hostess at the restaurant was nice and cordial. The management recognizes the need to coordinate the movement of people as the elevators are small, the security guys on the roof, as well as the labor necessary to remove all the empty plastic cups people leave about as garbage is flying off this roof every minute. Reduce the number of people and there will also be less garbage allowing these guys to do their jobs.

Yelp
After scouring places to stay in NYC for a short amount of time, this place was seriously one of the best deals I could find. My stay here was pretty awesome. Everything was nice and clean. Plus I really liked how this place was renovated and how it felt really modern. It was kinda interesting how they laid out the room because the bathroom was seriously out in the open... felt kinda weird but I guess they did that to save space. Positives: the employees are super friendly and it's close to the subway/shops Negatives: having to insert the room key every time we went in the elevator... not cool when it's late at night, you're drunk and you have to find that stinkin key

Brandi T.

Yelp
Stayed here this past weekend. The rooms were very clean. The lobby and elevator are so blue haha. I get it's Hotel Le Bleu but I felt like I was in a night club every time going to my room. I also don't love the idea of them dropping off breakfast every morning. Not sure if I could have said no or not? Otherwise, it was an enjoyable stay.
