The most dog friendly hotel ever! We walked in without a reservation and the team working here was very accommodating. Everyone from the valet to the spa and restaurant staff were all very friendly, the services offered are top notch, the location is just perfect and on top of all that they treated our dog as VIP. Which would automatically mean 5 stars even without the rest of the effort they put into make this place as close to home as possible.

Don't normally write reviews but felt compelled to do so after a great stay at Le Blizzard last week with my elderly parents and a teenage daughter. The location is perfect, the rooms great, fab SPA, great breakfast and dinner and consistently outstanding service. Thank you Team Blizzard

We have booked the hotel in October 24' for our Jan 25' holiday. The most important point is that the hotel is definitely NOT child friendly. Even in the hotel's restaurant we did not get enough service. Half of the hotel employee's are good and helpful and the other half is fully opposite. The photos that have been used regarding the pool, that area was closed. We always received negative reaction for our requests but then once we insist they try to find solution. Val d'isere is quite lovely place for skiing but will not go to Le Blizzard any more and can not advice. No KINDNESS at all!

We stayed in the summer. From the moment you enter the hotel the service is what stands out. The staff are amazing friendly helpful and professional. ||We had a standard double room with a bath, lots of room, there was also a spa and a swimming pool which we didn’t use. ||Proximity to ski lifts was good no more than a 5 min walk to the 2 main lifts. ||Restaurant was superb, everything was great, wines were very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also good all in all no big negatives and many many positives. ||Only things we would improve were.||A rain shower in the bath rooms the hand held shower is a bit heavy. ||Get a proper coffee machine with a Barista. ||The bath could be facing out not in.||Really small things - all in all a magnificent hotel.

Le Blizzard Restaurant, Val d’Isère: A Disappointing Experience I recently visited Le Blizzard Restaurant in Val d’Isère after a recommendation from the concierge at our hotel expecting an enjoyable fine dining experience based on its reputation. Unfortunately, my visit was anything but pleasant. Upon arrival, the ambiance was charming and cozy, a quintessential Alpine setting with much fun at the bar, which you have to push your way through to get the restaurant. The service left much to be desired. We where one of the first people to arrive at 7 30 pm, although there early the waiter took other tabkes orders first, when our order was taken we then waited for an astonishing 1.5 hours, and our food never arrived. Not once during this time did a waiter or waitress check on us or offer any explanation for the delay. It felt as though we were entirely forgotten in a restaurant that wasn’t overwhelmingly busy. What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of communication. Attempts to flag down staff were met with disinterest or outright avoidance, i had to walk aroubd the restaurant to find someonetospeak to. While the setting had potential and the menu looked promising, it’s impossible to overlook the glaring lack of hospitality and basic service. Dining out should be about more than just food—it’s an experience, and Le Blizzard failed spectacularly on that front. Unless significant changes are made to their service approach, I cannot recommend this restaurant, i certainly cannot recommendthe food as it never arrived, and we ended up leaving. If you’re in Val d’Isère, there are better options where your time and money will be respected.

Restaurant review: The positives- The waitress smiled when serving us, and explained a few things on the meme we didn’t understand Negatives: can’t be the food, surely? Stale bread, “soup” with about a centimetre of liquid and some boiled veg and a couple chunks of lobster. Lemon flavoured broth. Overcooked steak. 30 min wait for one drink (champagne and chambord). Price for 7 people? Crazy money considering the slim amount of food and “quality”. Overall, if you’re looking for a quality experience, there are many alternatives that outshine this place massively.
