Hôtel Le Bois Joli

Great small hotel, perfect location to explore the town and surrounding hiking. Good breakfast; don't be shy to ask for different options! Great bar to sit and drink while doing the crossword.

We found the hotel well located, comfortable, and the room well equipped with a great view of of the main "Place". The breakfast was excellent and there were useful facilities such as a fridge and safe in the room, and access to a microwave.||The management and staff were very welcoming and helpful and made our 5 night stay in Cauterets very enjoyable and memorable. The staff work hard to make the hotel such a friendly and comfortable place. ||We also really appreciated the very helpful information provided by the Hotel in advance of our stay, including prompt responses to all our questions, which really assisted us with our choices.

This is a great little hotel in the center of town. The staff were friendly and warm. The room was large and provided ample space to dry out our hiking clothes after a rainy day. We were fortunate to get a room with dual aspect, so it was very pretty. The decor isn't updated but it's very charming and certainly of the mountains. Would recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spotlessly clean. There were very nice touches such as slippers and gowns. Plenty of toiletries. Pillows and bed were fab. What really stood out was the hospitality and kindness of the staff. Ambre in particular always went the extra mile. We appreciated it. It is in the centre of the town so there is the hustle and bustle that accompanies this position.

A group of 13 hiking friends stayed at this lovely hotel. The rooms were charming and clean. Breakfast was a very nice buffet. Our hostess Ambre was extremely helpful and accommodating. The hotel is in a perfect location, close to great hiking trails, a beautiful hot spring spa, and enough restaurants and shops in this cute little town. I highly recommend this wonderful small hotel.

We were a group of 13 and had a lovely 3 night stay here. The team was welcoming and graciously accommodated the challenges of a large group. Ambre in particular was super helpful. Highly recommend the hotel-it was beautiful and a great value.

This hotel is very pretty, well situated and well staffed. Our room was very clean and prettily decorated with lovely views, and the heating was totally adequate despite the cold. There is a very cosy and welcoming bar downstairs where we had a buffet breakfast.||||We had 2 minor issues. Firstly there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room- although this isn't unusual.||Secondly although each buffet breakfast at €11 consisted of basic but good ingredients, only one hot drink was included. We did think paying a total of €22 for a large croissant, a small baguette with butter and preserves was quite pricey with just 1 drink. However, it's not a cheap area so may well be typical.||||We would still stay here again though as the hotel itself was very charming and welcoming.

The charming hotel is perfectly located on a square in the town center. We were welcomed by a very friendly english speaking guy. He helped us with the luggage, which you can unload by a side entrance in a small lane. He gave us recommendations to free parking nearby. |We loved our room facing the square and with lots of windows and a balcony. Very clean. |All staffs are very friendly. We stayed three nights and had breakfast every morning. The mountain breakfast is large, so we shared a continental and a mountain breakfast. The first morning we had two mountains and we left a lot.|We recommend the hike to Cirque de Gavarnie and the hike to Lac du Graube and further on to Refuge Oulette.|We give our best recommendations to Le Bois Joli.
