The hotel had a beautiful bar and the room was spacious. The staff was lovely and very helpful. The first day was 95 degrees outside and we had some trouble sleeping as the AC was not very strong. Would not recommend staying here in summer weather but would be lovely and other time of year.

Beautiful location in the heart of Beaune. Incredibly friendly and efficient staff on check in, amazing breakfast courtyard and experience.||Small menu but great food at the next door restaurant, Bistrot Loiseau des Vignes, with huge selection of wines by the glass to continue your tasting experience. ||Room was very old Burgundy....a bit like staying at your grand mothers but in a good way. Lots of history. Also has excellent secure parking, great for classic cars etc.

We had a comfortable two night stay at Hotel Le Cep, enjoying the beautiful old town of Beaune and sampling the incredible burgundy wines from the region. The hotel is historic, right in the center of town, and easy walking distance to everything in Beaune. The staff was very accommodating and made us dinner reservations at two wonderful local restaurants on both nights. We also enjoyed massages in the attached spa. The bed was comfortable and the bath was renovated and very nice also. This is a great place to stay in Beaune.

I am and have been a regular visitor at Le CEP, for many years. I return because I enjoy the warm friendliness that you get from Jean-Claude Bernard and all those working at the hotel. It’s a family atmosphere in a wonderful environment. The bedrooms are full of character (as is the hotel itself), as well as being comfortable, spacious and peaceful. I always enjoy wine at the bar, where Adrian makes us feel welcome. Breakfast is a must, whether it be outside in the summer months or in the warmth inside, during winter. The team at Reception are wonderful from booking restaurants to helping with luggage. The hotel carpark is a real asset in Beaune!

We have stayed here at least once or twice a year for the last 25 years. The hotel improves every year. It is extremely well managed and its staff is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. I would stay in no other place in burgundy. The restaurants are on your doorstep and the staff are very helpful with reservations.

Very nice vintage hotel. The room was tastefully decorated and very cosy. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Breakfast until noon and very French: no vegetables, no oatmeal, all the food was cold ( not sure about pancakes, didn’t taste them), but there were fresh fruits and berries and everything was very tasty, a selection of good cheeses, quiche, very tasty bread, pastries. All food was of a very high quality. We liked everything.

We had a good stay at Hotel Le Cap. It’s a nice place and the staff was warm and friendly. It’s in need of an update - our room was large, but the furniture and “tech” in the room was at least a few decades old. It’s a bit part of the charm I guess. We were frustrated by the fitness room. It was a tiny space with some old cardio equipment - no weights or room for floor workouts. I tried the rower and treadmill - both were broken (the treadmill seemed to work but the “decrease button” didn’t press). I went for a charming run around the city instead which was the right decision! Overall, we had a solid experience because of the location and staff. Note it’s not a young crowd (we didn’t see anyone else in their 30s or 40s).

Very expensive hotel in a lovely city let down by very poor facilities. My wife shivered for 5 minutes in the shower and then asked me to check the water was hot. There was no hot water at 5 in the afternoon. When she complained she was told it could take a couple of minutes for hot water - we waited for over 5 and nothing. We will not stay again.

Yelp
Boutique hotel in the heart of Beaune. Highlights- the suite is quite spacious with immaculate service (they take care of things like forgotten power adapters for Europe, plus other small extra small gifts to welcome us to Burgundy). The wine list is extensive with four DRC bottles in their cellar. The hotel has its own cellar where the wine tasting is individual only (no group tastings) and tailored towards all levels of tasting. The bartender is very nice and the hotel owner hangs out at night to welcome you and knows the details of your stay. They arrange to call domaines as well to help you with wine tastings.

Yelp
As AmEx travelers were upgraded from a junior suite to an apartment (Nectar) #128 which opens onto the courtyard. Two bathrooms, one with a bidet is nice. All our amenities were outstanding. The concierge can arrange anything including wine tours with expert wine educators, superb taxi drivers to CDG, and RSVPs at Michelin starred restaurants. All 5 of us in our travel group enjoyed our stay immensely

Yelp
We stayed here for one night and had a wonderful experience. Rooms are all different as the hotel has grown over the years. We booked a suite that was quite large and had a beautiful bathtub. This hotel has such warmth and character and you really feel like your stepping back into time. The lobby area is very historic feeling and is the perfect place to cozy up to the fire and have a glass of burgundy. The staff went our of their way to be helpful, particularly Jean Claude. This hotel is a large part of the reason we fell head over heels for Beaune.

Yelp
Hotel Le Cep is absolutely fantastic. We stayed in the Grand Cru Suite and it was blue velvet heaven, we were so sad to leave! The beds are magically comfortable, the bathroom was gorgeous (the tub!) and the decor was French luxe. The location is prime, you can not do better! Everything was a 5-10 minute walk. We parked the car and never used it the whole time we were there. The staff was PERFECT in every way - warm, funny, nice, helpful, polite and knowledgeable! Every recommendation the front desk staff gave us was spot on. We did a private wine class/tasting in the wine cave with Sebastian and he was EXCELLENT. We work in the wine industry and his knowledge of the region was impeccable. This is THE place to stay in Beaune.

Yelp
Stayed 4 nights. Completely satisfied with room, personnel, location, ambience, etc... Has private parking on property, which is rare in central Beaune. Cost is 15 Euro per night to park the car. 18th century buildings with typically decorated romantic period furnishings. Comfortable bed. Plumbing works fine. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Don't select this hotel for the exercise room (ridiculously tiny attic airey with 5 machines crammed together). Free Wi-Fi service. Perfect lodging for romantic wine country holiday. Pricey at 200 Euro per night.

Yelp
Great spot right in the middle of town. Just checked in and brunch and a glass of wine at the bar have been right on! Staff is friendly and very accommodating!

Yelp
A beautiful Inn. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The rooms were large and clean. The dining room is stunning. Beaune is quaint and perfectly located for exploring the wineries of the region.

Yelp
Definitely a fan. Cute little hotel, very attentive staff. Centrally located at the center Beaune. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of where to go and what to try for wine tasting.

Yelp
What a disappointing experience. I've stayed here before. What happened? I was here to scout a future trip and this was a desired hotel for a future trip in 2015 for VIPs. What's wrong: the restaurant, it is separate from the hotel.. They have no influence. They are completely separate. If you want a reservation, it is better to get it directly. The staff: this is most uninformed group I have seen. The wines: remember when the bar had a huge list of wines to taste? It no longer exists, last night, there were 2 red wines to taste, here right now, wish me luck. What a tragedy.
