If you don't mind a few inconveniences, Hotel le Clement is a great 2 star find in the 6th arrondissement in the St. Germaine area. The rooms are small with only soap as an amenity and while there is a small elevator, it is more suitable for luggage. There is a winding staircase for the 6 floors. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms, many of which overlook the church of St. Suplice, are cleaned daily. The lobby area is warm and welcoming and a nice place for an afternoon respite. A breakfast is served at additional cost. The location is great with shops, bars, cafes, patisserie and grocery store within a few steps of the hotel. We have stayed here during both visits to Paris and definitely recommend this charming, family owned hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Le Clément in Paris! As a family of three, having two separate rooms—one for my wife and me and one for our daughter—space is luxurious in Paris. The extra space made our trip incredibly comfortable. The location couldn’t be better. We were right in the middle of everything, with cafés, shops, and major sights all within a short walk. It made exploring the city effortless and fun. A special shoutout to the amazing staff—everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Their kindness added so much to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great service in Paris. We can’t wait to come back!

Lovely hotel, very polite helpful staff. Bit dated but very clean. Breakfast = pastries and a bit expensive. There is a lift, it's tiny, 1 person & a suitcase comfortably. Very comfortable beds. Metro station nearby or about 15 min walk to the Seine & the Louvre.

Charming little hotel with a clean and comfortable atmosphere. We appreciated its convenient location—there are plenty of small restaurants nearby, and a grocery store right across the street. It's also close to a couple of metro stations, making it easy to get around. Just note that reaching major attractions like the Louvre may require a few transfers

Great location, just a short walk from both the metro and bus stops. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and even had a window with a charming little flower box, which added a nice touch

A perfect Parisian stay in the best location!|Hotel Clément is an absolute gem — full of charm and ideally located in the heart of Paris. We were able to walk to nearly everything: iconic sights, cozy cafés, fantastic restaurants, metro stations, bars, and even a convenient laundromat just around the corner. The reception team was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and every service provided was seamless. It truly felt like our home for 8 nights in Paris. Highly recommended!

Based on the website photos, I thought we booked a room with two full beds; however, we only had one bed. We had asked for a room on the top floor and learned that they do not have two beds on that floor. The desk said they only have two rooms with two beds and that you have to request those specifically. I think they need to update their website so the room types are more accurate. I am still giving them an excellent rating as the hotel is still great, and it was just my daughter and me. I would choose to stay here again as it is in a great location. The bathroom is tiny, so if you are not a slender person, you may feel slightly claustrophobic, but that was not an issue for us.

Fabulous location, the staff the same. So helpful. Old school Paris hotel that’s been in operation for many, many years by the same family. Comfortable beds and quiet too. We loved it 🥰

Yelp
We stayed here for three nights and loved it due to location and all of the amenities nearby. It is directly across from the Apple Store so there's a lot of hip places nearby. Behind the Apple Store location is a food/vendor hall and also a small grocery store ie Whole Foods on a Trader Joe's footprint. Lots of cafe and a very quick walk to the subway. The RER line is also nearby about four minutes walk to the yellow RER and about ten minutes walk to the blue RER. Luxembourg Gardens is a few blocks away. Notre Dame is about a half mile and the Louvre is a half mile as well. Quick 15-20 minute walks to both Notre Dame and Luxembourg. Hotel has 24 hour staffing in the front so this is good for travelers traveling on the go with flex schedules. They have a buffet breakfast for extra cost but being surrounded by a lot of pastry cafes we just went with getting crepes nearby with some cappuccinos and worth it.

Yelp
We have stayed in this hotel three times and find it suits our needs very well. Close to the areas we like to visit, market down the block, restaurants close by. It's Paris, small and functional not the Ritz, but a comfortable venue at a reasonable price.

Yelp
Comfortable little hotel in nice neighborhood. With the added benefits of air conditioning and a little elevator,it was a great place to rest after exploring Paris. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Moderately priced.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Le Clement in July 2015, upon a recommendation from a friend. We were expecting a comfortable stay in a wonderful location. We completely regret the experience. We could tolerate the worn, tired interiors (dimly lit, stuffy air, small spaces), questionable cleanliness and even the 6-floor walk up we had to our room, due to the unreliable elevator. On our second and final night, we returned to our room at 11 pm and discovered that we had no electricity, restricting our access to light, use of the bathroom (as it was pitch black with no window) and the use of our fan. Two hours later and the problem could not be resolved; we were told it was a wider issue with several rooms in the hotel. As we were leaving early the following morning, we declined the offer to move to another room (particularly since it was so dark we were concerned of leaving something behind) and were somewhat surprised that this wasn't suggested to us as soon as we reported the problem. We expected a discount or compensation in exchange for the great inconvenience caused to having no power. We were instead offered free breakfast--hardly an adequate response! At seven months pregnant, I was horrified by the manner in which we were treated after enduring such an unpleasant ordeal. The worst hotel stay I have ever had.
