The Côté Vert Hôtel is a fantastic place to stay if you’re looking for a getaway close to Brussels’ center while offering a quiet surrounding with facilities around. Located in Waterloo, it provides many restaurants and boutiques nearby and on the way to Brussels’ center, you’ll enjoy a green and refreshing scenery. We were welcomed by a friendly team, the room was clean, spacious, and made us feel home. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options, fresh viennoiseries, juices, and the option to order freshly baked waffles and eggs. Highly recommended!

We booked a room because we needed a stay not far away from Brussels. We were amazed by the high standards of our hotel room, the beautiful garden scenery outside, and the friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is well located in a small town with some restaurants and shops. We definitely can recommend the hotel's own restaurant as well, the food was amazing.

The côte vert exceeded our expectations. My parents live around the corner at the Bella Vita and we needed a place to stay. It’s a very attractive and intimate, small design hotel. We felt very at home. Reception staff, especially Cécilia, is sophisticated and friendly. We often times sat in the lobby and they made us good cappuccinos. Cécilia informed me about all sorts of things and is very helpful and kind. She’s the kind of person who turns a good hotel into a great hotel experience. One of the best discoveries was their new store, Le Cellier. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s absolutely beautiful. The goods have been carefully curated. We bought wine, candle holders, napkin rings and a decorative tray. Joan, who runs the store, is patient, fun and creative and will help you select the best gifts. Below are two pictures of some home goods that we bought. We will be back in the Spring and are already looking forward to it!

Staff spoke great English, rooms are high quality, really nice bathroom, and the cleaning is done to a great standard (they even neatly folded up my clothes I had on the floor!). Reception had no problem ordering me taxis and check in & out was fast and efficient. Ordered room service from the attached restaurant and whilst pricey (€55 for 3 vegetarian courses - meat more expensive) it was quick and very nice food. Fortunately even though there was only 1 vegetarian main option, it was a good one. Menu changes periodically. I did not get to try the breakfast. The hotel feels luxury, I would absolutely recommend it. The only issue - I had a room directly above the restaurant and you can hear banging reverberate during opening times in evening and sometimes in the morning. Not an issue for me but if you need to sleep early / wake up late this would be a problem so ensure you note on your booking.

A modern hotel. Easy to find in the centre of Waterloo with its own parking.|We splashed out for a larger executive room. It was well appointed with a good bathroom. Reception was friendly and welcoming.|The restaurant was excellent, way above expectations. |Breakfast was good with cereals on offer and a choice of freshly made hot dishes. Orange juice was disappointing but that is so often the case.|Very convenient for visiting the Waterloo battlefield, only ten minutes drive away. |Our friends, staying in another part of the hotel, complained of loud noise in the night from a party of (French-speaking) drunks outside - so management needs to monitor that carefully. |I would recommend that the owners install a Suitepad in the room as this would give access to local information, hotel services and the wifi code which I got wrong as it was hand-written on our key card. |The wifi was excellent when I finally mastered the password. I would also recommend the addition of a high speed charger for electric cars.

A really lovely hotel in the centre of Waterloo. All the staff were most helpful, pleasant and welcoming. My room was very comfortable, very clean and I had a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was superb, and the adjoining restaurant is top-notch. One of the best hotels I have been lucky to visit.

We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed our stay in Waterloo! Our room was a twin room (did have a kettle!) and the air con was great with the heat too! Beds were comfy and the TV was good (does have some UK Tv channels) as well. The only downside with the room were the doors to the toilet and full bathroom- they're not quite proper doors so don't have a latch. Our toilet door didn't quite latch so was ever slightly ajar- not great for the self-conscious! The staff were all really friendly and there's a bar/restaurant too which was nice. Breakfast was yummy- mainly cold but they do do a small selection of hot dishes too such as eggs.

It may not be your best base of operations if you are visiting Brussels, but if you are passing the south of Brussels or want to visit the battlefield of Waterloo, this hotel will be perfect for you.|Clean, modern, comfortable and VERY quiet while remaining around the corner of a busy main street with shopping and many restaurant options. |plenty of on-site parking|Very friendly, accommodating staff.
