Hôtel Le Dauphin Montréal Centre-Ville

The hotel was everything we needed and was better than expected based on past stays in Montreal. It is an updated older building with a modern, clean feel. No old carpets, closets, etc., so it is pretty bare if you are looking for that. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. I also loved that there are no dressers but the desk has a Mac for your use and a refrigerator drawer! Then there is the breakfast--it is a continental with some light protein options and a very nice coffee machine that grinds and makes multiple types of coffees. The only issue we had is our room was adjacent to staff supply closets and they were not very careful about letting the doors slam in the morning. Still not bad enough to reduce the rating though--all in all I would highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was spacious with a corner couch, a desk, and a refrigerator in the desk drawer. Interesting place for it, and it worked well. There is plenty of room in the frig. An Apple computer was provided on the desk, something I hadn't experienced before. The hotel was clean, well kept, and offered a good breakfast (including Montreal bagels). The front desk staff was cordial and helpful. An excellent location and reasonably priced.

My partner and I stayed for 5 nights and have nothing negative to say about this hotel. It was a very pleasant stay. The service was excellent at all times. We were upgraded to a better suite upon arrival, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast is simple, yet very well executed. The pastries were so delicious! The room was spotless. Hadn't seen such a clean hotel room in a while. The location is great, just a couple blocks away from the metro station, close to old Montreal and great restaurants. Everyone working at Le Dauphin is doing an excellent job. Merci !

Convenient enough as Montreal is quite a walking city so between the Metro and on foot one can cover a good area from this hotel. Though my room is facing an office building so curtain needs to be drawn if you want privacy. Continental breakfast was decent and the bagel they used were from Fairmount, one of the top 2 bagel choices in Montreal. BTW, the shower stalls control kind of difficult to operate as it switches between shower head and the rainfall one above.

Great service and location....only about a 10-minute walk to old Montreal and the same distance to the main shopping street. Wonderful breakfast. The room was enormous and cozy. We would have preferred a bit more space in the bathroom, but it was great anyways and super clean.

First time using this hotel while visiting Montreal, was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful room, modern bathroom and great Mac Monitor for those wanting to do some work. Downside for me is that there was dust in a lot of places. Had to clean the remote and nightstands. The bedsheets did not look like they were changed which bothered me. I noted all these things on the review sheet and dropped it at front desk as I felt cleaners would just discard it not wanting management see reviews of their poor work. Breakfast is continental and ok.

Great value for money. The hotel is modern, a bit stylish. The rooms are very spacious and clean with a large bathroom and a very comfy bed. The location is perfect - IATA and old town within walking distance. Prices are reasonable, service is friendly and breakfast ok (simple Canadian hotel standard). I'll choose this hotel again for my next stay in Montreal.
