Just returned from a week at this hotel, we really enjoyed it the staff are all very professional and polite from the minute we arrived from our transfer from hell of 8hrs with all the snow on the 10th Jan we were just pleased we made it!!
The reception staff were very welcoming and the nice guy who took our cases up to our room was so helpful even offered to take us for pizza, sorry didn’t get his name.
We stayed 1/2 board and it was well worth the money, breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from, you could also order omelets or eggs Benedict or avocado on toast with poached eggs, the fruit juices were good quality and nothing was too much trouble.
Evening meals were from the main menu and we tried most of it and all really delicious, the prawn ravioli and the garlic snails and the scallops were all beautifully cooked. The only thing from the starters we didn’t enjoy was the French onion soup, that was tasteless.
The main menu had everything from Chicken, Duck and fillet steak all equally delicious too, we were disappointed that the wine was so expensive by the bottle and if the hotel dropped the price a little they would certainly sell more.
The restaurant staff on an evening were all really good at their jobs very polite and again professional. Big thanks to Sam for looking after us and to Lena working her socks off waitressing well done for doing such a great job!
Room with a fantastic view, and the ski in ski out was amazing!! thank you Sarah & James x
