We recent had the most amazing recently stay at The Firtzroy Hotel Val Thorens. I must say, it was an overall wonderful experience. Nestled at the top of the Les 3 Vallee ski area in France the hotel lives up to its name with a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and relaxation. We had a group of 10 people accommodated all of our needs!||The hotel’s location is perfect if you was to just step out your door and ski it was just a short walk to local shops and great restaurants. The dinners just ok, but besides that a great experience. ||The bed was incredibly comfortable, adorned with plush pillows and quality linens. A large window provided ample natural light and balcony, stunning views of the ski sloops. The amenities were top-notch, including a flat-screen TV, a well-stocked minibar, and a coffee maker.||Housekeeping was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that my room was always tidy and well-stocked.||The staff warm and welcoming, they went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. From the front desk to the restaurant, each team member displayed a genuine commitment to excellent service. The staff was outstanding the front desk was incredibly helpful, Leo helped us with whatever our needs were!||The hotel boasts an impressive array of amenities, including a full-service spa, a well-equipped fitness center, and a serene indoor pool. I indulged in a relaxing massage at the spa, which was a highlight of my trip. The pool area was tranquil, allowing guests to swim or lounge.||I would highly recommend The Fitzroy Hotel for anyone seeking a ski getaway or a family vacation. With its beautiful location, excellent service, and quality amenities!|Alicia

My wife and I stayed at the Le Fitz Roy for our honeymoon and had such a wonderful time. The room was lovely, with such a nice view of the mountains. The hotel's staff was kind, attentive and very helpful throughout our stay. The hotel offered ski-in and ski-out access and an easy-to-use locker room for our ski gear. The hotel's patio was a lovely place to unwind after a day of skiing, and even featured some live music. We also really enjoyed the hotel's spa, which included a pool, sauna, steamroom and showers. The hotel was also well located, with multiple dining options a short walk away. We highly recommend staying at Le Fitz Roy if you are looking to visit Val Thorens.

What a wonderful hotel! The location is incredible and very easily accessible. The room is lovely and we had a fantatsic view of the pistes. All the food we ate was wonderful. The breakfast had limited supply, but everything supplied was good quality and tatsy. Dinners were also great and there is enough variety. Supplements are required for some of the meals, but they're reasonable and significantly cheaper than if you were to buy the same meal on the slopes. All staff have been amazing, but especially the waiting staff. Thank you all for such a wonderful holiday.

We have just returned home from a week at Le Fitz Roy and we absolutely loved our time there. The staff were super friendly and helpful, food consistently great, and location perfect! A trip to the spa after a day skiing was a huge benefit too. The only recommendation for the hotel (which we also spoke to reception about) is to include a fan in the rooms. Our room was really hot in the evening and the street outside was quite loud when we opened our door to cool it down. Would definitely return though, thank you to all of the team at Le Fitz Roy 😊

Very nice hotel. Amenities and service were better than their "brother" hotel Val Thorens from the Beaumier chain. The room was bigger, even had a terrace. The TV was smart, and nicer bathroom. Staff were very attentive. We were welcomed by a charcuterie plate, accompanied by some brownies and a wine bottle. The swimming pool was warmer and with stronger pressure on the hydromassage. The steam room was properly heated. The location is also great.

Fantastic location - cannot be beat! Extremely convenient and easy ski in / ski out. Terrific service all around - at check in, during our stay, check out. We had an issue with our Uber and the hotel staff were extremely helpful in getting us a car arranged so that we could make our train to Paris on time. The breakfast is terrific. Some reviews complain that you need to pay extra for eggs - this is not correct. The included buffet has two types of egg options. If you want a custom omelette or other custom egg dishes then you need to pay. The breakfast buffet is fulsome, fresh, and nourishing. Lunch and dinner at the hotel are also outstanding.

Every year my sister and I book a week's skiing holiday at a 5 star hotel, and one of the things we look forward to is having varied and delicious 4 course evening meals included in half board. The food here was extremely disappointing. The menu is the same EVERY DAY except for the chef's special and the soup, and if you don't like the special (included in half board) then most of the other choices on the menu are charged extra! You even have to pay if you want cheese instead of dessert. I've NEVER experienced this in a "5 star" hotel before. Additionally, the choice at breakfast is extremely limited and stocked low.|The boot room is poorly designed with not enough space to sit down without constantly having to move to let people pass. The exit from the boot room is via the outdoor terrace, where you have to manoeuvre past all the tables and chairs. Not ideal!|Several times the cleaners came to clean the room just as we got back from skiing late in the afternoon, then would come back to do turndown when we were getting ready for dinner.|This is a lovely hotel, but it's not 5 star. On a positive note, it's in an excellent location and we had a lovely, sunny balcony overlooking the piste. The staff are very warm and friendly and try hard to improve the experience - for example, when we complained about the food, the chef made us a special starter. The spa area is also very good with a small, warm pool with jets and a hot, spacious steam room.|I recommend the hotel as a 4 star, not 5 star, but do not choose half board. There are plenty of places with good food nearby to have dinner instead.

Just spent a week at this hotel. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was a suite and it was ok but there had clearly been a leak from the shower room and there was a large amount of water damage on the wall and floor. The menu was limited and especially for children. The location is amazing though. That is the only reason I think this is considered a 5 star hotel. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and the reality is this is not one of them. I would say it would only be a 3 at a push 4. The location and that it is listed as a 5 star it comes with the price tag that unfortunately it doesn’t warrant. It’s a real shame as this could be a really nice hotel with a better menu and a bit of maintenance and updating. As for the staff especially the restaurant manager who I asked to make something not on the menu for our daughter one night were great. Hope this review helps the management make the necessary changes.
