Perfect hotel for whenever my family is visiting. I've booked with Le Jolie over 5 times and never had a complaint (my parents, in-laws, brother & gf have all stayed here. Age ranges 30s-70s). More than anything else, the staff and owner are beyond friendly. The owner is so friendly with guests and remembers repeat customers. One time I was scammed on Airbnb, so I had to book a last-second hotel for my family and Le Jolie was so accommodating, helpful and understanding. I was so happy I booked with them and it was so convenient for my parents who don't get around too well. They've stayed at the botique Williamsburg hotels but prefer Le Jolie. (the other hotels are loud, dark and overly complicated)||For a NYC hotel, it's exactly what you need. It's close to subways, restaurants/bars, McCarren Park and more. So if you're visiting Williamsburg (or don't mind a quick commute to Manhattan), and don't want to overpay for the expensive luxury hotels, I highly recommend Le Jolie. It's clean, great location, amazing staff and always competitively priced.

We first visited Le Jolie years ago because our daughter lived nearby. We liked it. Our daughter moved and we had a hiatus. Our daughter and granddaughter are back in Williamsburg and we are becoming regulars at Le Jolie again. Not much has changed. This is sort of a boutique hotel, about 8 rooms per floor. Not much hallway traffic. It is still clean. The rooms are small. We don’t care, because we spend little time in the room. The rooms are well equipped. The rainfall shower is nice. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The manager now recognizes us and is always pleasantly helpful. Unlike other hotels nearby, there is free parking and free internet. The absence of that daily gouge is a great plus for Le Jolie. Get a room at the back of the hotel if you can, as the rooms away from the BQE are a bit quieter. But we have slept at the front without difficulty. The rate is reasonable for NYC. There is no breakfast since Covid, but there is always good coffee and tea. (We do miss the pastries.) There is a subway stop nearby for us real New Yorkers, and vibrant Williamsburg is just a walk away. A diner and great bagel shop are just a couple of blocks away.

Comfortable room, excellent staff and free parking! We went to Brooklyn for a wedding and stayed just one night at Hotel Le Jolie. The front desk staff were lovely - friendly and accommodating. The Hotel is very convenient to a host of restaurants and has free parking - shocking in NYC. The room was comfortable and there was coffee, tea and cold water available at all times. Would definitely recommend and we will go back.

I've stayed at Hotel Le Jolie several times now and, after researching other hotels nearby and trying one unnamed "upscale" Hotel in the same neighborhood, I have to say I'll be a repeat guest at Hotel Le Jolie. All in all, this hotel has everything I need for my business trips. The rooms and bed linens are always clean, the staff is very friendly, helpful and professional, and it's quiet (where others nearby are, especially on weekends, quite noisy). The only negative-and it's a minor one-is that they've done away with their Continental Breakfast. This is not a major issue at all, as there are countless options in the immediate area for one's breakfast needs. I will be returning to Brooklyn in the very near future, and I will most definitely be staying here again.

I stayed for two nights and would definitely stay again. The elevator was right in the lobby and didn't even have to look for it. The room was sparkling clean, bed was comfortable, all the amenities were nice. I had terrible blisters on my feet, and the person at the front desk, whom I regret not getting the name from, gave me free bandaids. She was very helpful, friendly, and kind. As my feet gave me so much trouble, I ended up spending most of the days in my room which was quite enjoyable. My room faced the expressway but no noise from the traffic was coming through. ||Complimentary breakfast would have been nice as I could not walk very far, but they had coffee and tea for all the guests, so I was very happy about that. |||

Google
Very friendly staff. Great location in Williamsburg with everything about 15min walk. Felt safe while walking to and from hotel. Free parking but it is first come first serve basis. Probably about 10-12 spaces. Did not have any trouble while checking in on a Friday afternoon. They provide coffee and tea all day long. They also provide mini water bottles which was very much appreciated! Reserved two twin beds and the room was spacious enough for two people. The room even had a mini fridge! We were facing the highway side of the hotel so there was noise during traffic time and constant passing of cars so ear plugs will help if you’re a light sleeper! Will stay again!

Hotel Le Jolie is a great place to stay in Brooklyn. Its location is fabulous, AND it has quite a bit of on-site parking (at no extra cost)! The staff was great and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. For visitors looking for a safe, reasonably priced, well-located hotel in Brooklyn, Hotel Le Jolie is perfect! We highly recommend it!

Google
No no no. Felt completely unwelcome from the start. The valet did not welcome us! Stared at us and did not assist with helping us with our bags. You cannot get any sleep here the noise from the street is insane and we had stayed on a high floor. The room is a shoe box! The bathroom is connected to the room via a curtain. Our room was so dirty! No vacuum or wiping down from previous guests, it was disgusting and off putting. 12:30am house keeping banged on our door and insisted we ordered blankets! Nope we were sleeping. We refused them and they kept trying to come into our room! Very fishy and extremely uncomfortable experience in the middle of trying to sleep! Seems to be a nightlife hotel.. that’s about it. Not worth the price! Checked out early.

Yelp
The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The blackout blinds were great and you'd never know you were in Brooklyn because I've stayed in noisier hotels in the middle of nowhere. Good location, comfortable, all of that. I left a few t-shirts in the dresser drawer, and after calling to follow up a few days later the manager connected with me to help get them sent back out to me. They deserve your business!

Yelp
This place was under contract by the city for the illegals and was turned into a shithole. On my last visit I tried to get an answer as to the hotel status but was unable to. It seems that since the illegals were serviced and housed, they destroyed the place. Just another hotel that NYC and the illegals have destroyed and removed from the public. LOOK EKSEWHERE. No one will tell you this!

Joi B.

Yelp
I give Hotel Le Jolie an A+ for location and cleanliness. If you can get it at a decent rate, go ahead and make a reservation stat. Why three stars? My room came to about 435 dollars for one night. The lobby and room are super basic, absolutely nothing special (kind of reminiscent of a Ramada Inn or some similar budget hotel). It pains me to pay that much for basic, yes, even in New York City (and we ARE talking Brooklyn here, even if one of the. most trendy, happening neighborhoods). So, while there was absolutely nothing wrong with my stay, I'm a bit bitter about blowing that much money on a hotel that's so low brow, they actually called me 10 minutes before check out time to remind me that it was check-out time. What? That has literally never happened to me before.

Yelp
Don't be fooled by the professional photos, this place is a substandard hotel masquerading as a high end boutique establishment. I was booked here because I'm working in the city. The room is so small, I can't even open my suitcase, and I have to maneuver around it, just to get around the room. Paper thin walls. My room is between two others, so on one side I hear people arguing, on the other, a couple having relations - it's about 3am as I write this. The street noise is relentless. As others have written, cigarette and marijuana smoke can be smelled in the hallway. The heater/air conditioner is wildly inconsistent and my room keeps shifting from hot to cold. The carpet is old and falling apart. The bathroom is about 1 foot from the bed and has a sliding door, that doesn't provide much privacy. If you're traveling with someone, you REALLY have to be cool with hearing everything they do in the bathroom. If your bathroom and toilet isn't enough, because of the super thin walls, be prepared to hear EVERY. SINGLE. TOILET that may be surrounding you at all hours of the night. The staff has been nice, but I arrived about 30 minutes early and was told my room was ready, but I wouldn't be allowed to check in unless I paid a $50 fee, which I refused. I was told I could wait in the dining area to have breakfast (which wasn't actually available). There was coffee and water, but I was not about to eat pastries that had literally just been stored by a sanitation bucket. I can't believe this is what you get for about $500 a night. Not four-star at all. While the hotel is in Williamsburg, don't expect to feel safe or comfortable walking back to this place at night. I may be traveler, but I actually grew up in Brooklyn, this is not a place a would recommend to anyone. It's on a poorly lit, poor foot traffic part of the neighborhood, the creepy highway underpass alone is enough to give anyone pause. My job has me booked here for four days, but I'm leaving in the morning. This is a fine place for people looking for a party hotel or twenty-somethings trying to save some money, but for most adult or business travelers, you will find it extremely lacking. The room was clean. The shower was fine.

Yelp
Great place to come back to while visiting NYC! I stayed here with my girlfriend for about 4 nights and we were very happy with the hotel. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-kept. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, there was plenty to see and do within walking distance, and it was a perfect place to come back to after visiting other parts of the city.

Yelp
A wonderful Brooklyn hotel. My wife and I have stayed at a couple of places through Brooklyn while visiting friends. This is the only one I felt like was worth the stay. The staff was all friendly and welcoming. Tenzin at the front desk in particular was extremely helpful and kind. The parking lot was full when we arrived so she helped me find alternative parking. The parking lot is small, but it's Brooklyn. The fact that they have free parking at all is amazing. It was full when we arrived, but were able to get a spot a little while later. Again, it's NYC. Free parking is almost a never, so I was appreciative that they offered it. The rooms are quiet and cozy. They are a bit small, but again remembering this is Brooklyn and space is limited the rooms are adequate. The beds are very comfortable and they actually give you enough pillows! Unlike some places we didn't need to call down to ask for more pillows or bedding. The hotel itself is very close to the subway, lots of restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Within moments you can find any kind of food you can imagine. Bang for your buck, I don't think there is a better spot in Brooklyn. My wife and I will definitely be back next time we're in town. 5/5!

Yelp
Great fairly priced and comfortable place to stay in Brooklyn. We were even able to get parking right in front of the building's entrance.

Marcy P.

Yelp
Fabulous awesomeness! Clean! All smiles! Ada and Allen made the arrival easy and comforting! Great neighborhood bars. Baba Cool behind the hotel is a gem! Parking was easy and it was great over all!

Yelp
Very Impressed with the Hotel, staff and the excellent customer service, sparkling clean, very kind and supportive employees, The breakfast was excellent, a lot of variety, the area is supper convenient and accessible to different sources of transportations! Meaning is located near to the highway never was a problem for me because a barely hear anything! Very convenient, reasonable rates. Thank You Hazel for your kindness and your excellent and amazing service she was knowledgeable about her job, and give me a lot of advices! Overall outstanding! Confortable beds and Pillows, and very convenient elevator!

Yelp
Hotel Le Jolie was a pleasant surprise and a 4-star rating for me. The best thing about Hotel Le Jolie is that it is in hipster-ville Williamsburg and the good location for taking the L train subway into Manhattan. The hotel has smaller rooms ... however they are well equipped. For instance, my room had a large Samsung TV that had excellent picture quality and a lot of channels. In all the rooms there are double windows (oddly with 6 inches between them) that really reduce the amount of noise from the outside. I had a room facing the Williamsburg bridge traffic and had no noise complaints. There is a room darkening shade in all the rooms that was probably my favorite room feature. It was very easy to get a good nights sleep at Hotel Le Jolie. In addition to all these high points, there is a better than average continental breakfast. All the staff was helpful and courteous. I guess the main thing I would say about the Hotel Le Jolie is that I would do it again.... and likely will.

Yelp
The worst hotel ever, which you can find near a dirty overpass w trucks rumbling on it. Price may be right for Brooklyn, but this hotel needs work. Our first room had a broken lock on the door which we didn't realize given we used our card key to get in, not knowing we could have just turned the door handle. The next morning, when my husband went out to get us coffee and croissants, he realized he just had to turn the handle to get in. No card key needed. The front desk staff apparently knew the lock was broken, but booked it anyway. We were moved to another room, which meant re-packing etc, a definite time consuming hassle, especially for people like me who get settled in right away upon arrival -- unpacked, clothes hung up toiletries in the bathroom. Regarding the broken lock, no help from the staff who told us we just had lift to the lock up in an awkward way. Ridiculous, inconvenient, annoying, unsafe. And the carpet is funky, worn, gross. Meanwhile, the a/c switches from cold to hot w/o changing the settings. #inhospitable #don'tstaythere

Yelp
Pros: -reasonable price -free parking -easy access to subway (under 20min to east village) -free wifi -free bottled water, fruit, coffee tea (available 24/7) and bfast (available till 11am even on weekdays!) -comfortable beds -shower is pretty nice -in room safe and fridge Cons -rooms on first floor are super noisy (you can hear lobby, "lounge" room that has fruits and coffee etc, elevator controls, etc). REQUEST A HIGHER FLOOR!! That being said I did manage a good nights sleep with the help of some ear plugs I would consider staying here again as long as they don't put me on first floor.

Brixio C.

Yelp
The service of this place is amazing. Wow.the manager is more than accommodating and I can tell he has a passion for what he loves to do. Thank you Hotel Le Jolie for welcoming us.

Maribel C.

Yelp
Best place to stay if your looking for great service. Highly recommended and we would stay here again in the future!

dennis c.

Yelp
This was my first time staying here and it was due to a cancelled flight. I must say that it was pleasant to stay in my old neighbourhood and even better to see that it has cleaned up nicely(so many good restaurants nearby). That being said, this property was really clean, the rooms were done thoughtfully getting the most of their space. Amenities were nice, beds-super comfortable and the staff welcoming and accommodating. They even offered to let me check out at 3pm after finding out my flight didn't leave until later that night. That gesture alone will gave me rebook here as kindness like that is not too common these days.

Novia N.

Yelp
Housekeeping is terrible. Because of COVID-19 i brought my own cleaning products. Thank God I did. I had to call for a vacuum, after checking the bed , there was so much hair as if someone flipped over a dirty mattress. The mattresses were stained etc. I had a toilet flood and called the front desk at 1pm, housekeeping came, I offered to plunge toilet myself, but asked for towels since all mine were used to soak up water. He never came back, despite my calling front desk four times. I fell asleep waiting and woke up 4pm and the new shift had started and finally brought the towels.

Yelp
A little gem of a hotel in Brooklyn. Found it on Booking.com and got rate of $148 which included free parking. Convenient to get to and close to subway. We had tickets to show at Brooklyn Steel which is very close. Front desk clerk friendly and gave us free upgrade to king room. Room spacious by NY standards. Very clean. Mini fridge with 2 free bottles water. Big TV. Nice toiletries. Bed comfy. Quiet. Free breakfast in cozy sunny room was good. Had fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cold cereals, and REAL bagels and pastries, from a bakery, not store bought. Coffee excellent, unlike most hotel coffee. Also good Stash tea selection. Coffee, tea, and fruit are available at all times. Highly recommend.

Rebecca L.

Yelp
Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. They have parking which is a bonus. This is our go to place to stay when we are in Brooklyn. Rooms are normal size for the city. I enjoy the showers and the mattress is comfortable.

Scott T.

Yelp
For a hotel that cost over $200 a night I expect certain things one of which would be not having flakes of paint fall on my head during showers and continuous loud noises. Avoid this hotel at all costs the manager was not willing to compensate or provide any remedy other than offering 20% off my next stay. The room smelled the bed was average the lighting was silly and over complicated this hotel sucks.

Ashley F.

Yelp
This place can be seen right off the highway. You have to go up through the neighborhood then back down. Parking is tricky. We parked under the overpass across the street. Not much to look at. The foyer was so small. Idk if more than 10 people can stand in there at one time. The front dest is a room with a window. Not to personal. The bellman? Idk who this man was standing there, didn't offer help for luggage or help us with the elevator so idk who he was or why he was standing there. Weird. The rooms are as small as a shoebox. Seriously, no room to walk or even stretch. But I guess its, more rooms more money, kinda thing. The room although small was cute. No privacy between bathroom and bedroom. Its right there. Next to the bed a sliding door with a toilet 4 ft away. Uh yeah. Only one night stay. Would not have made it another night. The positives are, free hbo. I was able to catch my show. Close to the Brooklyn Winery. Atleast there was some sort of free parking. They offered free water in the mini fridge. Thats always a plus!

Timmothy M.

Yelp
The rooms are small, that's just unavoidable. But they don't feel small, since everything is so carefully crafted and well placed, it just feels nice. Size doesn't matter, as they say. The entire place is extremely clean and within walking distance of so much.

Tommy J.

Yelp
Great location, very nice updated rooms, great staff... very nice experience. My job takes me all over the world and I book tons of rooms worldwide, this hotel was great for me and my group. Good luck finding nicer rooms than this in Brooklyn, at a reasonable price.

Kim N.

Yelp
Even though it's right next to the freeway it's a nice little hotel in the north side of Williamsburg. Close to the subway and a retail area of cool things. I came in and out of this place at all hours and got to see many of the staff who were really cool. Nice clean room with a clean bathroom. As things in NYC go it's not particularly cheap but you're getting more price performance value for an equivalent place in Manhattan,

evelyn v.

Yelp
I love this hotel! My granddaughter and my daughter and her family live in Williamsburg and I live in Oakland and this has been my home away from home! I have stayed with them about 10x!!! Love the staff, management and the rooms are always clean and comfy! So grateful! Will be back for sure

Ron K.

Yelp
Place is very clean but Rooms are Super small if you even have a hint of claustrophobia don't go they charged me $10 more and blamed in on Hotels.com. Of course they blamed the hotel. Neighborhood is "so so" so don't venture out at night alone. Right next to BQE but pretty quite. Breakfast was absolutely horrible SKIP it. Honestly if it's that bad don't even bother. Just give coffee and tea.

Daniel I.

Yelp
Great hotel. Some pros are that it is close to the BQE, for easy access to get cab or uber. Also 3 blocks from the L and G trains for easy Manhattan access. Nice rooms, reasonable rates for the area. They also offer free parking which is hard to find. They also offer free breakfast, which has small selection but plenty for you to eat, as well as Starbucks coffee which I always appreciate. The con would just be that the rooms are small, which Is expected in a "boutique" "euro chic" Williamsburg hotel. I would recommend staying here for sure if you are in the area.

Kate B.

Yelp
This hotel was awesome! Such a gem. Onsite parking was a plus, though the lot is small. The super friendly staff gave us a nice room with a great view of the city. Super clean, nice toiletries, nice breakfast in the morning. We hope to return!

Lisa R.

Yelp
This adorable boutique hotel is in a great central location. It has easy and free parking! Great price for the area and comes with coffee, tea, and fruit all day plus breakfast. I love the decor and view from our room. And an amazing use of space! The rooms are typically small as all nyc hotels- but it felt roomy and very functional. We had gotten a room with 2 beds thinking our son might have come...the beds were super tiny- but on rails- so we were able to push together to make one large bed. Love this!!

Lissette G.

Yelp
Booked at Hotel Le Jolie using booking.com, mostly because they offered free parking which is a rare find in NY. I didn't expect much staying in NY and I really wasn't looking for anything fancy since we were just staying 1 night but I was blown away by this hotel. Great location. Courteous front desk. Immaculate clean rooms. Larger than expected rooms (I stayed in a king room with my hubs and child). Bedding was crisp and bathroom toiletry and towels were clean and good quality. Did have some email interaction with the manager and received exceptional customer service. I was more than please with my stay. Wish I would have stayed longer. I will definitely be staying here again if in the area and will be recommending to friends and family.

Andie O.

Yelp
Everything about this place was adorable! Except for the carpets everything was very clean! The breakfast was wonderful! Love Hotel Le Jolie!

jennifer t.

Yelp
OK -if you are young (or not young) and still broke- by all means stay here. BUT --if this is not your situation DO NOT STAY HERE !!! The halls smell like old locker room sweat. My bathroom (room 606) had black mold in the bathroom. AND HERE IS THE BEST PART: The enterprise rent a car GPS was stolen from my room. Gross Gross and Lame.... Dont be fooled by the photos online, this place is disgusting.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Really like this hotel but I've stayed many times and haven't gotten any discount u would think after so many stays at the hotel they would at lease give u a free stay or a discount next time I book I will re consider unless a discount or a free night happens specially that the fees aren't cheap stood two days straight and didn't even get a discount and there's been many times before as well that's what can be improved in your hotel and staff thank you"

Hannah B.

Yelp
Great location, very convenient. You can park in their lot, or under the BQE right across the street which is awesome. This hotel is simple--small rooms, big beds--whatever, are you really spending much time in your room anyway? My beef with this hotel is that there were yellow "bodily fluid" stains on EVERY SINGLE SHEET/PILLOWCASE on the bed. The one on the fitted sheet even smelled like bodily fluid! So I asked the housekeeping person in the hall for a new fitted sheet. She didn't apologize or offer to help me change it, she just handed me a new fitted sheet. What? Okay fine, what I really care about is having a clean sheet. The new sheet also had yellow stains all over it. But it smelled like it had been cleaned. Here is the deal. I get that people....stain sheets....in hotel rooms. But every other hotel seems to be able to figure out cleaning/bleaching the sheets. Especially if you're paying $200 a night. When I very politely and not-complainingly just let the front desk know of our stain experience upon check out, not only did the girl not apologize--she didn't even acknowledge me! She made a face, wrote something down, and handed me my receipt, after processing my $70 upgrade fee (which they had offered via email--definitely doesn't seem worth it, by the way). Cool hotel, man.

Nikke G.

Yelp
Being a native New Yorker I've never really had the opportunity to stay in a hotel in NY. I knew to expect a small room and that was indeed the case. There was room enough for 2 people to stand around the bed and that's about it. But really what more do you need if you're"e visiting NYC, one should be out exploring anyway. We had the King room with City View and the Empire State building was in fact visible. The room, bathroom and bedding were all clean. One lamp didn't work, but I didn't bother to call about it, so it's probably still not working. Yes the hotel is next to an abandoned gas station and right next to the highway which adds a certain deserted feeling to the area, but it's actually right in the middle of a heavily populated neighborhood (which I used to live near). The street activity is over at Bedford and N. 7th, about 5 blocks away and it's worth checking out. For the price and quick access to Manhattan via the L train (3 blocks away and 10-15 minutes to the city). I say stay here. Not reccommended for: people looking to be pampered, people who stay at hotels like the W, people with young children, seniors. Recommended for: adults 20s+ looking for a launching pad to a fun time in NYC.

Bryan K.

Yelp
DO NOT STAY HERE I was hoping to support my local neighborhood and have my parents stay here in a few weeks. I will not support this business. The staff is not accommodating, unfriendly and frankly, quite rude. I thought it would choose an affordable option since it is right next to the highway (BQE) but they are just as expensive per night as a hotel in the city. Not an appropriate way to run a business in a neighborhood. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

roderick A.

Yelp
Ah well, I was mistaken. Apparently this is where my aunt and uncle stayed, and not the Marcy Hotel. As a matter of fact, I don't even think the Marcy Hotel exists, except in the hearts and minds of house-party music fiends. This hotel in Williamsburg - yes, Williamsburg - is a nifty option over the really expensive choices in Manhattan. Well, the reason my aunt and uncle stayed here is because my cousin already lives in Williamsburg and this is close to her place. It's an okay place with comfortable beds. It's still rather new so the staff does a pretty good job of maintaining the place. There is a free continental breakfast, though I'm not sure what time that occurs. And what better place to watch all the hipsters, trying to figure out which brand of black skinny jeans to wear, and what color of shoelace to use as a headband. Dorks.

Jane R.

Yelp
On a recent vacation I had the displeasure of staying at the Hotel le Jolie. I am constantly travelling all over the world for work and this hotel was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. A small issue with a tear in the bed linens in the room led to an argument with the extremely rude manager and very dismissive staff. I say argument, I was politely requesting my needs as a paying customer be met while the manager raised her voice and condesended to my partner and I. My advice is spring for a more expensive hotel where you will be treated like a wanted guest. Completely ruined my impression of an otherwise beautiful city.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Perfect Hotel. FREE PARKING. My husband was thrilled to leave our car right out front for our entire stay. They accepted packages for us, let us checkin super early, gave us a nice breakfast each morning (nothing fancy but nice) and provided us with a clean room. Only thing was that our fridge wasn't working and i let some food spoil unknowingly. Last visit to NYC I paid over $400 for a Marriot in Midtown that had insects crawling all over the room. This hotel was a million times better, and a better location. $10 cab or a 8 min subway ride to Manhattan.

Donsta L.

Yelp
If you're traveling budget is tight, do it right. Come stay at Le Jolie. Book two weeks in advance to get the best rate and ask for the late check out. Le Jolie is kind enough to provide free WiFi and the continental breakfast that I came home in time for but never woke up in time for. It's a $15 cab ride into the city or you can take the subway just a few blocks away. Or stick around and chill in the trendy and hip Williamsburg 'hood. The staff here was real kind and even let us check in at 8am after a red eye flight and did not charge extra. The normal check in time is 3pm, so kudos my friend. The hotel was clean and modern, perfect to stay for business, with friends, or your lady friend. Le Jolie is the place to be, until we got the dough to stay in SoHo. Sorry that was lame.

Estis H.

Yelp
I have many criticisms of my stay at this establishment (small, unclean, no tub, unbelievably rude staff) but the criminal theft and credit card fraud possibly by another customer, staff and/or establishment is #1. I have reported it to my credit card provider and will do so to the police if the situation is not rectified by a manager or administrator by tomorrow. I reserved one night at this establishment on September 21, 2018. I think the full charge was meant to be $336.27 for a studio with a standard double twin bed. It was a non-smoking hotel room, but it had been smoked in previously. I did not care, therefore did not complain. I arrived at the hotel at midnight. I checked out the following day and received an email confirmation reiterating same: "Dear ________________, We hope you enjoyed your recent stay at Hotel Le Jolie, where you checked out on September 22, 2018..." Later on September 22, 2018 and after midnight on September 23th, I noticed Hotel Le Joelie was still charging me. I called to correct the error and spoke to an employee named Jose. He claimed that I was still in the room and that the Hotel still had the card I paid with initially. I told him he was wrong on both accounts over the phone. The number I called was fron the previously mentioned email. I'm too tired to keep writing. Jose completely brushed me off; he denied sending the email, then refused to check whether the sent email even existed. Despite the aforementioned email received, phone conversation, lack of photo ID or any government ID, and fact I was on a phone call while located somewhere else. Basically, he claimed never checked out. This stuff isn't that hard - we're getting into the basic human decency category. Jose continued to be utterly dismissive and directed me o call back when an higher-level employee was around then he hung up. This is not my real name so as to protect my identity if this involves theft or criminals. will check the private messages and emails, however, should management contact me through this account. Just give me a refund and never make me come back here again. I always wanted to stay here because I think I always used to pass it why driving on the BQE. or vanilla ice with rainbow sprinkles. on google maps is saw fs]]]spizza -for now you may call me, Estis DoomStick Horatioflutterß

Yelp
5 stars isn't enough. Since the day we arrived in Brooklyn, the hotel staff was friendly, easy going and accommodating! Large TVs with DIRECTV, comfortable beds, breakfast in the lounge, free parking and walking distance to bars, lounges, cafés, shops and the "moveable feast" Williamsburg offers. I'll come and stay here again over Manhattan any day. We left to go to a wedding upstate and came back for our last night before departing for Cali. The hotel provided a slight discount and it's only 25 minutes (not including traffic) to JFK!

Yelp
When researching where to stay for our weekend in NY (we knew we didn't want to stay in Manhattan), we came across this Hotel Le Jolie and admittedly were a little concerned that the website uses the adjective "European" to describe this place an awful lot. Because, you see, European = very small. But the reviews were good, the location was good (close to public trans, restaurants, and McCarren Park), the amenities were good (I really wanted free breakfast, and we needed parking), and the price was right, so we booked it. And it was great! The staff was friendly and competent, the room (while small) was very comfortable, and the continental breakfast was pretty decent (there really wasn't much, but what they did have was excellent). Our room had a great view of the Manhattan skyline, so I highly recommend requesting that when you book, if possible. It was so pretty at night.

Yelp
Very good hotel very close to the subway awesome staff one staffer even suggest Chimu (a pretty good restaurant) the only MINOR issue is some of the rooms face the BQE so if your a light sleeper that could be an issue, I turned down the AC and let it run most of the night(s) I was there and it didn't bother me a bit Will definitely stay there again.

Yelp
We have stayed here several times and will continue to stay here on our frequent visits. We are not interested in paying top dollar for fancy schmancy only to sleep and shower?! This place is clean. Reasonably priced. Central to the subway lines and safe enough. The staff is always pleasant. This last trip they were nice enough to let us keep our car in their lot, way after check-out without an extra charge! We don't care that it's located near the BQE or that it's surrounded by darkly lit parking lots. We have never had a problem!

Yelp
I have stayed here a few times now and have found the place to be in a great location in Williamsburg , with comfortable beds, and a friendly staff. They said that there was a breakfast, but we failed to wake up before it ceased. I like this place better than the bullshit in Manhattan I have delta with and will stay there again due to the price and location. BUT, the elevator is slow and the cleaning ladies are loud as hell. Not like banging the vacuum into the wall a few times while feverishly working loud, but yelling from room to room in extended conversation at 9:30 in the motherfucking AM loud.

Yelp
I've stayed here a couple of times and have been impressed with the overall operation. Most recently, I arrived about 9am after taking a red eye from Los Angeles and when I went to check in my bag until check-in time, the general manager went way out of his way to accommodate me. I must have looked pretty beat since he upgraded my room at no extra charge and allowed me to check in on the spot, which allowed me to take a nap and enjoy the rest of my day in Williamsburg. Thanks, Chet! This is a small hotel that is well-priced, very clean, has nice amenities and some style as well. They have capable people at the front desk, housekeeping does a great job and the location is convenient for me. Plus, the gal who oversees the continental breakfast keeps that operation spotless. I've stayed on the side opposite the BQE so I can't comment on the noise factor. There are SO many places to eat or drink or shop within walking distance, so come check out Williamsburg and use Le Jolie as your home base...you'll be glad you did!

Yelp
Is this one of those trendy W hotels in Manhattan? No. Is this a nice hotel to stay at in the heart of Williamsburg? Yes! Friendly staff, clean rooms, decent internet connection, a giant television -- and even the other guests I bumped into were nice! I would return again and recommend this hotel to my friends. If you're from out of town another nice thing is that the hotel is within walking distance of quite a few cool places in Williamsburg. If you go try and request one of the top floors so you can get a decent view of the hood.

Yelp
Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Had some recent travel issues with the weather and all members of the staff, from the front desk to the GM, were very helpful in making sure we could have a great stay even though I was getting in way past when I was originally supposed to. Oh, and the location and rooms are great too!
