Hotel Le K2 Djola

Disappointing Experience at K2 in Courchevel 1850 I recently stayed at the K2 in Courchevel 1850, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the hotel's service was lacking. The food was poor, and the services were virtually non-existent. The ski room was small and dark, with no staff available to assist, and there were no ski rentals on site. Additionally, room service was not an option, which was incredibly inconvenient. The attitude of the staff was particularly disheartening. It seemed like "no" was their default response to any request. When I fell ill during my stay, there was no one available to help me get to a pharmacy. To make matters worse, the manager shouted at me simply because I asked for avocado with my breakfast each morning, even though I offered to pay for it. While the rooms were spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable, the poor management overshadowed these positives. The lack of kindness and joy from the staff made my stay unpleasant. It's a shame!!!!

We are just finishing our stay and it has been excellent. The rooms are spacious, the location is great, you can hire equipment right by the slopes and store overnight and the staff are all very helpful and charming||The breakfast is sufficient with some hot options and the afternoon cakes are great and served as you relax in the lounge. We had noticed some reviews complain about the lack of a restaurant/bar, but we knew in advance and it’s nice to have a relaxed boutique hotel and there is no lack of restaurants in 1850!||As for the price - this is Courchevel 1850 and the hotel delivers exactly what it offered, so we were all very happy

Just come back from a 4 night stay with my husband no kids. ||They hotel was just ok and not sure we would go back. ||Positives |Great location |Beautiful rooms big and done out very nicely. |Maid service was brilliant |Reception Staff very polite and helpful ||Negatives |The hotel lacked atmosphere. |It was basically a nice room and nothing els no bar or restaurant. |Breakfast was basic and very unappealing.|Room service was poor, we ordered breakfast to the room and it did not turn up. We complained and they where very apologetic and sent us some cakes to the room with a note. |Same happened when we asked for some water so we went to local supermarket and bought some. |The clientele where a bit odd unfriendly and noisy got woken up at 2am to party going on in the next room. To be fair to the staff they did shut them up. ||All in all a disappointing stay it was very expensive £500 per night, I would of expected a better experience. I think the hotel has a lot of potential.

I stayed at Le K2 Djola for 4 nights in February. It’s brand new and only opened recently. The staff are very informative, polite and efficient. The decoration and design is high spec. Everywhere is clean (and of course everything is new). I loved my comfort room (I think this is one up from a standard room?) which had a separate toilet and a balcony looking onto the street. The restaurant menu is basic but food is good. The restaurant staff were great, a huge thanks to Ludivine, Julia and Jules as well as the reception staff. This is a small hotel and the lounge, restaurant and spa are quite small- but fine. There is a gym opposite which has a €22 entrance fee. Hotel has a great central location close to everything I needed.

Location cannot be beaten. At the heart of Courchevel 1850, this elegant hotel is conveniently located, within a short walking distance from the mais gondolas, shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Front desk service is five star, a friend travelling in my group broke her arm in the slopes and hotel staff was beyond amazing helping with insurance, cancelling equipment rentals, getting lifts refunds, booking gondola acessible mountain restaurants, etc. A special thanks to Beatrice, incredible service and super friendly, you are amazing! The rooms are spacious, modern, clean, in a very good condition. Spa is simple but great, breakfast is basic and delicious, you really won't miss anything essencial. If you are in doubt, don't think twice, stay here!!

Hotel Le K2 Doja is a ski paradise! 🎿✨ The vibes are on point, with stunning rooms and amazing service. Can’t wait to return!

Polite staff, good location. However, no transfer; poor breakfast; no real spa; no bar on site; tiny ski room; no parking. Doors are banging all the time. Definitely not worth the price.

Wonderful staff. Very helpful, polite, attentive and kind. Great, comfortable rooms.
