Each one is complete with a minibar, free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV, while some also have a seating area. After enjoying the buffet breakfast, you will be able to use the massage, aqua bike and water jet facilities in the spa. The spa is accessible with an extra cost. Le Kaila (Méribel, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"French alpine hospitality generally sticks to the familiar — acres of knotty blonde wood, a roaring fire paired with a full-bodied red, retro millwork, the odd taxidermy specimen. It can feel as if there isn’t much that hasn’t already been said quite well. But the landscapes around here, not to mention the people, have their own style to spare, so the grand imported gesture would fall flat; and there’s a balance to be struck between kitsch-free vintage poise and smooth, contemporary minimalism. Also, presumably, you’re here to wear yourself out on the slopes, a pastime which calls for much coziness. Hotel Le Kaïla knows what to do." - Tablet Hotels

Le Kaila is certainly not the cheapest place to stay, but its location is superb, the rooms are great, the breakfasts are terrific, the staff are welcoming and efficient.||The ski room staff are fabulous and access to the slopes via a private elevator sets a new standard for us. Staff put your boots on for you and take them off at the end of the day, which seemed perhaps a bit more than required - but we quickly got used to it. One morning I decided to put my own boots on and seemingly had lost the skill !||The pool area is amazing

Le Kaïla was a wonderful place to stay for our Meribel trip. Our room was relatively small but the amenities like the warm fuzzy slippers, complimentary minibar, balcony and access to the pool was amazing. It had an overall luxurious vibe that I loved. The hotel is centrally located and close to the ski lifts. The guys in the ski rental room that help you put on your boots are so wonderful and helpful. I also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. I would return!

Our 2nd year in Méribel in a row . We decided to stay in town rather than a car ride away this year although last year’s hotel Le Coucou was marvelous . |We spent 3 nights in January . The hotel is really lovely , very nice furniture and decor , the rooms are comfortable and cozy , the service is also top notch . |We had booked two junior prestige suites , ample space to get really comfortable. |The hotel is in town so the view isn’t wow . They initially assigned us a room on the 3rd floor with a horrible view of a rooftop and some glass dome . We immediately asked them to change the room for front facing view which was way better but still not the full Alpine experience but at least we were seeing the sky and the slalom ski run . Luckily the hotel didn’t seem full otherwise we would have been stuck with the other room at €2000/night and I wouldn’t be writing such nice words about our stay . |One of the really nice features is the 1st floor bar area , it’s a really large space well appointed one can spend a long time there . Also a huge upside is the cigar lounge which was a godsend . |The guys in the ski room are super nice and helpful (Christian you’re awesome) , quality of the ski rental is also top notch . Small elevator ride and we’re on the slope , super convenient.|We were initially disappointed that the hotel had only one restaurant and it’s a Michelin starred , not something we would like to eat at every day but luckily right next door through a connecting door they have a 4 star sister hotel with a number of good choices so no need to go far . |We had a fantastic experience but how would it have been if the hotel was full I’m not sure . We basically had the building to ourselves , the bar lounge was practically empty so was the ski room . Oh speaking of bar lounge , the club sandwich is a must .

Stayed at this beautiful hotel over the weekend, was greeted by nice staff and good food but what impressed me most was the service at the ski hire shop and I absolutely loved all the accessories! As it was a last minute trip I didn’t have half of my equipment and I was very surprised to see these amazing ski goggles by Alt*ego which I have been admiring on instagram for so long and I just had to get myself a pair! You need to visit and get yourself a pair while you are there, I fell in love with mine!

We just spent 5 days at wonderful La Kaila Meribel. A great hotel, excellent friendly and professional team taking care of everything. Great reception team, housekeeping, pool team ( big thanks to Luca) breakfast offering exceptional. A warm friendly luxurious hotel with great attention to detail. ||The ski room team were superb! So helpful, skis placed on the Piste. Excellent location and nothing too much trouble. Can’t wait to come back next ski season. Highly recommend for a great family ski break.

We had a terrible experience and a complete rip-off! - we had selected a larger room (34m2) without a view.|The room was facing a dark wall and under a bridge and there was NO light at all. Pics attached are from 10am! It was like living in a dark basement dungeon. No one should be hosted voluntarily in such a room and it is a disgrace they sell it and charge 1200/ night. When we complained about it they offered to switch us to a room with light but at an additional 250/night and we declined. There is serious disrespect for value and money.|The additional square meters we paid for where all for a snake like corridor. We had to walk over our suitcases. Pics attached. There was only one cupboard with three shelves. Nothing else - no drawers - nowhere to put your clothes. |The spa is ok - but the rest of public spaces or lobby are tiny, uninteresting and insanely expensive. |At 1200/night you had to pay extra for your eggs at breakfast.|The staff was very nice and professional. The location is also excellent.|Unless you don’t care at all about the value of money there are real 5 star properties and you should avoid this one. Definitely not worth what they are charging - let alone that it is unacceptable and disrespectful to have anyone sleep in a lightless dark room with no space for your things for 1200/night. Complete rip-off
