Delightful in all respects. We arrived here from Charles de Gaulle airport – an easy trip on the RER train then a short walk from the Saint Michel – Notre Dame station. (Note: You can walk underground from that station to the Cluny station underground which reduces the walk along Boulevard Saint Michel if the weather is wet.) The doorway to the hotel doesn’t look like a hotel entrance and you walk into a narrow corridor but you will then be met by very friendly and helpful reception staff. The small lift is nestled into the stairwell in the normal Paris fashion but that took us with no problems to our room on the 6th floor – junior suite 61 with good views over the rooftops opposite. Even though the room is on the main Boulevard there was no traffic noise. The room was spacious, comfortable and very well lit – including good lights for reading in bed (something missing in so many hotels). Perhaps because of ongoing renovations there was no breakfast room but there are many excellent small restaurants nearby. The reception staff gave helpful recommendations for eating places. Apart from the pleasant room and staff, the great advantage of this boutique hotel is its location – so easy for sights on the Left Bank, the Ile de la Cite and locations on the other bank of the river too. Also easy access to the RER station to travel to Versailles. Highly recommended and we would not hesitate to return.

My husband and I stayed at Le Lapin Blanc for three nights, and we had an amazing experience. The service was excellent from start to finish — every staff member we interacted with was warm, helpful, and genuinely kind. The hotel is also perfectly located, with both bus and train stations just a short walk away, which made getting around Paris incredibly easy. The surrounding area is adorable and full of charm, with cafés, shops, and beautiful streets right at your doorstep. Overall, Le Lapin Blanc made our Paris trip even more special. We’d definitely stay here again!

We have stayed there 10 years ago and it was great. This time was so, so the best.|The hotel needs some serious TLC, it shows wear and tear, cannot call it dirty, neither clean. There was some molds on the bathroom titles (OUCH). The breakfast room was close for remodeling, which we were not told when we made the reservation. |It is not the hotel fault but next door construction was going on with jack hammer noise all day long.|They offered breakfast in a nearby restaurant (not very convenient) and Sunday the restaurant opened at 10 am.|The staff was nice but the neighborhood is going downhill. Several homeless people are sleeping around.|I would not stay there after these experiences.

Lovely hotel in the Latin Quarter, easy to get to by Metro, the decor is very cute and stylish. |Staff were welcoming and friendly, gave us all information we needed. |The room was very clean, it wasn’t huge but it’s what you would expect for a double room in a 4 star hotel from my experience. There was barely any noise from the street and no other noise from other guests. We have no complaints from our stay. Thank you ☺️

Google
We enjoyed our stay here! The highlight of the hotel is the staff at the front desk who are incredibly nice, capable, and helpful - they go above and beyond and always get the job done. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The insulation from outdoor noise is wonderful, but the inside can be loud, in particular for rooms that share a wall. It also was stuffy, even with the air conditioning full blast. The breakfast in the basement is tragic - hot, tight quarters, odd smell. We went once and did not go back. For those reasons it is 4 and not five stars.

Policies Over People: A Disappointing Return Visit I am a frequent traveller. I do not miss the opportunity to write a good review when I stay at hotels as I appreciate the business and would like to support them in my own way. This one however is not one of these: I returned to Hotel Le Lapin Blanc based on a positive previous experience. This stay (November 12-14, 2025) was completely disrupted by construction noise for two days and finally workers literally outside our room door masking the floor and painting the walls on departure morning. The real issue isn't just the construction. It's how management handled it. Despite my multiple detailed complaints, the hotel refused any compensation whatsoever, blamed external factors while taking zero responsibility, suggested I should have complained during my stay (as if negotiating for basic standards is acceptable), and repeatedly cited "policies" rather than addressing genuine service failure. No advance notice was given about construction. Had I known, I would have chosen different accommodation for our Paris stay. When a four-star hotel prioritizes rigid policies over customer satisfaction, it reveals everything you need to know about their values. Le Lapin Blanc management acknowledged the disturbances but offered nothing beyond apologies and excuses, always with a defensive attitude. I'm a returning guest who paid in good faith and received substandard service. Management's response? "We will keep your correspondence on record." Save yourself the disappointment and book elsewhere. There are plenty of hotels in Paris that actually value their guests. Would not recommend. Would not return.

Google
Really lovely little hotel that is centrally located, quite near Luxembourg Gardens, easy to walk practically anywhere in beautiful Paris. The staff was so kind to me, particularly Tenzin at the front desk. I had fallen coming out of the shower and broken a lampshade in my room, and she and the staff were so kind in helping to clean up. She was always the nicest when I passed the front desk coming in and out. I would stay here again next time I come! I was there for 8 nights this trip.

Google
This was a great stay! We had a balcony on our room which allowed us to get some sunlight and fresh air. The bed and pillows were so unbelievably comfortable that it ensured a great night’s sleep each night, especially when we needed it most, after long days of travel and tourism. The breakfast was sufficient and a great way to start our day. The staff was lovely and friendly and the hotel was conveniently located by the River, a grocery store, public transportation, and Norte Dame. Overall a perfect stay at a reasonable price!

Yelp
While the location of this hotel is convenient and the young people staffing the reception desk were always helpful, it was a disappointment. There was no separate bathroom (the shower and sink were right out there in the bedroom), and while some redecorating was going on, the curtains were faded, the carpeting was old, and the furniture was chipped. And breakfast was actually down the street at a creperie. The most disappointing part of our stay, however, was returning to the hotel one evening to find that the screen of my computer had been damaged. To get it fixed, we had to travel to a shopping center outside of Pars in Puteaux twice (once to take it there, once to pick it up). This put a serious dent in our sightseeing plans. In addition, the hotel management refused to take any responsibility for the damage. Accidents happen, and if the cleaning staff had somehow bumped or dropped my computer, it would not have been a capital offense. But I know that I did not damage my computer and neither did my husband, so to be told that "it was my word against the maid's" left a sour taste in my mouth. I would have assumed that respectable hotels have insurance to cover incidents like this, but if not, some gesture of apology, such as a discount on our bill, would have been the least that we could have expected.

Yelp
Love this Little hotel! We chose it based on the many positive reviews that it had. And I'm so glad that we did. It was my two friends first time in Paris and they were able to accommodate us with a room for three people. The room was very comfortable and large which was unexpected because the hotel itself is very small. The outside is very nondescript and the entrance very narrow so if you were not looking for it you could walk right past it. However once you get inside although small the decor is tastefully done with beautiful pastel colors. The staff is over the top friendly and accommodating. We got there early and were able to drop off our luggage that they held for us while we went out sightseeing. When we arrived back at the hotel we found our luggage had already been placed in our room for us. This was great because there was only one elevator and it was so tiny that only the three of us could fit in it at one time ! When we left the hotel we had to take turns going down with our luggage. The only a strange thing, and I guess that's for us Americans, is that the bathroom had no door on it whatsoever and the shower did not have a door either or a curtain. It was just one glass panel so while you were in the bathroom taking a shower anyone else in the room could see. So privacy was definitely lacking there. Other than that we have a fabulous stay so I would highly recommend this hotel.

Yelp
I'm so in love with this little boutique hotel. We arrived several hours prior to check in, were exhausted, and felt grimy. All I wanted was a shower. When we approached the front desk and asked them to hold our luggage until check in time they explained that our room was ready and we could check in. The heavens opened and the angels wept. I could barely contain myself. The staff at Le Lapin Blanc has been accommodating like no hotel I've ever been to before. They have checked in with me via email to offer assistance if we need it. Every day we receive several delicious macaroons, there is a small dining room where snack time happens every day between 3-6 - and these are really tasty snacks, the housekeeping staff does a wonderful job, and the reception desk is staffed by friendly and helpful men and women. It's a sweet place and is whimsically decorated. The theme is based on Alice in Wonderland, and soft, pastel colors rule. Furnishings and decor are so on point. I love coming back here after a long day of sightseeing.

Yelp
So when you pull up , you're like are we in the right place. The next door business is nonexistent and under construction so it looks a little shady until you look into the double glass doors and are greeted by automatic doors opening. Mirrors everywhere, I love it! I really wanted to give five stars because the service was great , the facilities were clean and the prices were reasonable but the construction next door was a bit annoying and I know it was beyond the hotel's control. We booked last minute on Priceline because our flight home was delayed 3 days. We picked Le Blanc because they had good ratings, reasonably prices and in the heart of Paris. We wanted to be near the river / canal or whatever that body of water in Paris is called. There is everything within a 3 mile radius: food, cafe, bars , cinemas, libraries, shopping , toy stores, museums, live music (everyday of the week) , scooters , universities, parks etc EVERYTHING There was slight mix up with billing and payment due to a new employee but it was fixed and ended up in a room upgrade that only cost 40 euros. The elevator , hallways and stair cases are narrow so I don't recommend this hotel if you are a wide person. We had a blast squeezing the two of us and our luggage into the tiny elevator. There's 6 floors and wrap around staircase so if your claustrophobic you might want to use the stair case and upgrade to their bigger room like we did. Better yet don't book here because their toilet is in a small room to. Just enough room to sit and do your business. The shower heads were those wide ones that are on the ceiling for a waterfall effect , very nice I like a lot. The bigger room had a view to the city street and a very big bathtub perfect for two . Each floor is color coded decor so the 3rd floor was purple and the 4th floor was pink. I think yellow and blue were the lower floors and we never had a reason to go to 5th or 6th. The have a quaint breakfast area on -1 floor with a hot beverage machine that pumps out hot water, coffee, expresso or hot chocolate. They have pastries and juices and breakfast buffet for 10euros. They are serious about their wifi so you get a user name and password for each of your devices. We had four and there didn't seem to be a limit. Check out was 12pm but our plane didn't leave until 6pm and they easily held our bags at no cost until we were ready to pick them up. They provided towels and room service cleaning everyday and they have snacks at 3-6pm and you can order room service food until 11pm but it's French food so we didn't know what anything was . We did find out tyouth that even if restaurants are open late doesn't mean their kitchen is open. Restaurants stay open to serve you drinks. Which are not that expensive compared to California. We went to a bar and ordered 3 glasses of wine and one cocktail and it was only 15 euro. We will definitely come back and book again if it's just the two of us. I don't recommend for families but there was families with kids there so maybe there's bigger rooms or joining rooms. There's no pool or gym or arcade but they do have a small office center were you can print or access a computer.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay here. Every moment of it! The white rabbit theme can be found throughout the hotel. You can see they put in thoughts in every detail of the decor. The color scheme was so inviting. Every day when we come back to our room, we felt relaxed. Our room was very spacious. I was surprised how big it was! The location is very convenient with bus stations and metro stations all nearby. Lots of restaurant nearby as well. Breakfast was not included, but they offer free afternoon tea everyday between 3-6pm and daily sweets in your room! The hotel had all the essentials one will need. They also have some umbrellas for guests to borrow. The staffs were all very friendly and professional. Could not ask for a better stay!

Yelp
Very good, the staff is very friendly and assist you in anyway the can. Centrally located in the Latin quarter and close to all important sites.

Yelp
Nice quiet place with good air-conditioned rooms. Our room was cleaned very well every day. Cleaning people did a great job and were very polite. The people working the front desk were always very helpful and polite. There was always someone watching the front desk near the entrance so it felt secure. We slept well here. I think it was a good base for exploring Paris. It's close to restaurants and attractions as well as metro transit options.

Yelp
This is a very simple, boutique hotel, located in a great (and safe) neighborhood. Everything was very walkable, with lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The staff were friendly and offered assistance when needed. The lift here is small, so be prepared to take a few trips if you have a lot of baggage. The rooms are well appointed - nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. We opted for breakfast delivery to our room for one of the mornings, but you're better off getting your own breakfast unless you are leaving early and don't have time to stop anywhere. If you have a room facing the street, be prepared for some noise. It didn't keep us from sleeping, but may be bothersome to those not used to city noise.

Yelp
i didn't know when we booked the hotel but its theme is Alice and Wonderland. was a nice surprise to see all the little tributes to the movie. I'm certain that I missed many nods to the movie since i haven't watched the movie since a child. they hotel offers mini macaroons upon check in a nice touch. the deluxe room is not much different aside from space. the deluxe suite has a bathtub as part of the room where the regular room does not. If i remember the difference was minimal so go with the deluxe if available. Due to availability we got the regular one night and then moved to the deluxe. Staff is great, close to metro and walking distance to many sights and restaurants. the staff will offer tips to local restaurants. I would stay again.

Yelp
We absolutely loved our weeklong stay at the Lapin Blanc. The rooms were charming, super clean and very comfortable. The staff was exceptional: kind, patient and endlessly helpful. The location was perfect: tons of good restaurants right near by as well as the stores you want like pharmacies and little grocery stores as well as fast food for late night needs and the most beautiful French garden in the world : Jardin du Luxembourg!! The price for this level hotel is amazing and even the breakfasts were delicious and served by wonderful staff. we felt like it was a second home after a day there. Book this place if you can, you will love being in Paris if you do!

Yelp
Staying at Le Lapin Blanc was such a joy. They staff were all SO nice every time I entered or exited, helped with all of my travel needs, and were very accommodative. They even sent me a list of local recommendations prior to my travels, very sweet! Terrific location for all types of dining, walking, sightseeing, and whatever your needs in Paris. Lovely hotel rooms and beautiful room decor!

Yelp
Do not book this Hotel. I had a reservation back in April which I had to cancel due to the Covid 19 lockdown and travel restriction (which are still ongoing in Paris). I canceled my reservation in accordance with the law. Never the less the Hotel insisted that I come. I refused and several month later they illegally charged my credit card. It is not only illegal but also criminal as I never authorized them,. Legal actions are ongoing. They are terrible and unprofessional.

Mark K.

Yelp
Front desk staff were all extremely helpful. Housekeeping as well. Very comfortable room and surprisingly quiet. The only disappointment was the continental breakfast. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.
google avatar

Roxana M.

Yelp
This hotel is cute and extremely clean. Very well designed. But I certainly do not recommend this hotel to anyone who is clusterphobic. The elevator is as small as a suitcase and the rooms have barely any space to open your luggage's. Also I suggest the hotel to instal a small storage or little shelve to store your shampoos/conditioner/soap. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast at the cute restaurant downstairs. Very well decorated.

Yelp
This hotel was simply parfait. The staff: so friendly and helpful; offered to find information on venues; arranged for cabs; went out of their way to locate and purchase gluten free breakfast items for me. I loved them all. The room and hotel: so pretty and clean; delightful details; and despite having a room facing the street, surprisingly quiet. Water pressure and temperature perfect; slept better than we sleep at home. The location is great--away from the river, yet only a few minutes' walk to Notre Dame and the Cluny. Tons of dining nearby, and it was handy having a Marks and Spencer food shop next door. Breakfast was nice, lots of choices. We are already recommending this hotel to our friends and wishing we could return soon.

Yelp
My daughter and I spent 5 nights here in June 2019. The room was very clean and nice, with big windows in overlooking a quiet side street. The location is terrific- a short walk to Notre Dame also also Les Jardins de Luxembourg, steps from the bustling Latin Quarter, and access to several Metro and RER lines. The staff was just terrific, especially Katya, who truly went above and beyond for us. They have an optional breakfast that I ate once, and it was also very good. They have free snacks in the afternoon, but we were too busy and never went. A++++++

Yelp
My new favourite hotel. In the world. 4 stars are underrating the hotel. You cannot come to your room without smiling at how gorgeous it is. The details, the design features, the bed comfort. I feel like I'm in a bunny's home. A hole in the wall of Bvd St Michel, which is great for discretion. Next to Sorbonne. Around corner from Bistro Balzar and so many other great French places. Weekend markets two steps down for cheeses et charcuteries, chocolat chaud... Kettle in room for Dammann Freres tea. Safe that works. Hot water and shower that works. This is definitely a girly hotel, for the clean and tidy. Not for romps with a lover unless he's a white bunny.

Kelley A.

Yelp
I love this hotel. It's so cute and perfectly located. Easy walk to Notre Dame, shopping, etc. I walked all around all times of day and night and felt safe. The room was really cute and the bed was so comfortable. I slept so well! I think it's nicer than my bed at home. Ha ha. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. I wish I could go back now!
google avatar

Mike P.

Yelp
From the outside the place is very small and hardly the size of a quality hotel. The rooms have no defined bathroom the shower is right next to the bed there's hardly any space to walk around or be in the room for the price of the room. The room service food is like microwaved garbage. Every day there was construction next-door and if not the cleaning people were so loud in the room next-door that you could hear them through the walls while you are trying to sleep. I would definitely stay somewhere else. It is close to many things, like buses and metro stations and some tourist sites but to sacrifice quality for convenience wasn't so great.

Bruno L.

Yelp
Nice, very well located hotel, recently renovated. The "Alice in wonderland" style is fun, even if the white and pink thema in my bedroom is not really my style. The room was small, but OK for this one-night stay.
google avatar

E G.

Yelp
This hotel was extremely good. We somehow ended up with a top floor penthouse suite room even though we booked a regular room. It was a huge room compared to what we are used to travelling in Europe. Our windows gave us views from both sides of the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The only negative was the extremely tiny breakfast room with limited selection, but Paris has 50,000 restaurants so you can just eat somewhere else. The location was also very good.

Yelp
Total bait and switch. My husband and I booked the "suite," which their website depicts as an enormous and gorgeous room, full of all the charm and beauty you would want for your very special occasion. My confirmation email said suite, my email exchanges with the hotel said suite, and I had told them how excited I was to have the suite for our special day. We arrived-- and they gave us the totally wrong room, a much smaller room they are calling their "junior suite" without all of the great details they depict on their website. A bait and switch. I'm so angry-- the guy working at the desk said that there was no suite and that this junior suite was the best room he knew of in the hotel-- I showed him his own website, showed him the suite page and confirmation, and he was shocked-- he said he had never seen that room and that it was completely different. He also said there is no manager to call and no way to refund us for the price difference of this imaginary--but of course more expensive--suite. I'm absolutely livid and just so angry to be scammed like this in a foreign country. Also the room is literally crumbling. Like, actual tiles falling off the wall. Do NOT book here!

Morgan R.

Yelp
Location is perfect with easy access to pretty much everything. Upon arrival at what we thought was an obscure hole in the wall, we were greeted by the receptionist/concierge and were pleasantly surprised. The extremely helpful staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The room was modern, well appointed and kept up the 'Alice in Wonderland' theme without going overboard. The bed is extremely comfortable especially as I'm a light sleeper and my husband tends to move a lot. The tub was the highlight, finally a bath tub big enough for someone 6 ft 6in ! The only thing that was disappointing was the breakfast, it wasn't big enough given the cost. We found ourselves going out each morning to find food because the bag of bread & juice we recieved at the hotel wasn't substantial enough.

Yelp
Only open for a view weeks, and already my favorite Hotel in Paris. The finishing touches in the room are so well done and pretty! Ofcourse we are on the 4th floor and that means: Pink! I love it!!

Yelp
This hotel was a fantastic home base for me and my wife on our anniversary trip to Paris. We wanted a place on the Left Bank, preferably in the Latin Quarter. We liked that it was a boutique hotel and that it was close to public transit. It was very clean. And the room was large for European standards. We were constantly out eating in cafes and looking at art museums and churches, so having a huge sprawling room was not a concern of ours. When we were in the room, we were either in bed or getting ready to go out, so we didn't need a ton of room. But don't plan to do your morning yoga in the room... Go to Luxembourg Gardens for that The concierges were so wonderful. As an American in Paris who doesn't speak very much French, it is always nice to have people around you who can help. They helped us print some tickets we forgot to print at home. They arranged some reservations for us and helped guide us towards certain landmarks. The room was always clean by the time we came back. Most days we went out for food, but on our morning that we went to Versailles we grabbed breakfast at the hotel. We each grabbed a delicious pain choclat and a bottle of water. When we finally got the bill at the end of the trip, we realized the cost for the breakfast was €15 each. What a ridiculous price for breakfast. Admittedly, with the quality of bakeries around the city, there was no need to go to the hotel breakfast, but I don't think the charge should have been that much. So by all means... Stay here for an economic way to experience a very charming and posh Parisian hotel. But do not get breakfast at the hotel. You will find all kinds of options up and down the boulevards of Paris. Bon Voyage!

Yelp
I loved my stay at Le Lapin Blanc! The concierge were accommodating and very helpful. You also could not get a better location as a daily starting point in Paris. It's located between the University and Notre Dame and also a quick walk to the train stations. The area is lined with cheap crepe stands and bakeries where you can indulge on baguette and eclairs. The river is a few blocks away which we visited everyday. And if you don't want to spend too much money on dinner drop by the shawarma restaurants by St. Michel.
