Le Louis Versailles Château (Versailles, Île-de-France) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The “Versailles Château” in the hotel’s name is a reference to the neighborhood, not to the famous palace itself — Le Louis Versailles Château Hotel-MGallery is set just ten minutes’ walk from the Palace of Versailles itself, and offers a taste of palatial grandeur on a slightly smaller and more intimate scale. (The last bit of the name signifies that this is part of Accor’s MGallery collection, which combines unique hotel properties with polished, professional service.)" - Tablet Hotels

We stayed for one night and were upgraded to the junior suite. We loved the location as it is so close to the gates of Versailles. We enjoyed that our dog could join us too and they had a dog bowl and dog bed in the bedroom on arrival. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and the waiter was great but he was very busy running most tables on his own. He did not seemed to have a lot of help but he did great. The food was delicious. The white wine could have been a little bit cooler but this is my liking. The bar looks incredible and the reception team has been good. There is a car park underneath the hotel and we were lucky to fit our large truck inside but it was tight. The hotel room was very clean and the bed super comfortable. We will be back next year. Thank you very much,

Location of the hotel is great, just minutes from the chateau and close to the many restaurants, market, and shops. Breakfast was good, but not so promptly filled, e.g. pastry stand could be found completely empty. Rooms could be even more spacious if not for the oddities of the design, such as long halls, or chandeliers which do not play well with the height of the ceiling and block the path.

The hotel was a great central location with nice decor. The terrace was lovely, shared and relaxing. The staff were fine. My only grumble is that I booked for 3 people and the room (aside from the bed which was in situ) was equipped for 2 people. 2 mugs, 2 glasses, 2 towels, slippers, etc. had to go ask and source from different places - reception and the bar. Also would have expected a hotel of this rating would fill up the coffee and water daily.

It's a 4* hotel with 5* people working there. |Ridiculously easy to get to and similarly close to the Palace of Versaille. Just turn your head to the left as you look out of the front door and about 350m away there's the palace.|The station on the RER C line is only 250m away and everything is on the flat. No hills; yeay!|B&B was fully adequate. |The breakfast offering was replenished constantly, even up to the closing hour. It had everything you might want.|Our room, OK so we did a bit of an upgrade, had an armchair and a chaise longue both of which were comfortable and we used them. |When we checked in, it was mentioned that the evening dinner service is in 2 sittings because the room can only cope with about half the guests at one time, so it's advisable to book if you want to eat there.

Just back from an amazing weekend in Versaille. Hotel Le Louis Versailles is in the perfect position, so easy to access the Palace and gardens. Room was clean and quite well appointed, no frills, no view but perfectly functional. Lobby area was impressive and had a nice feel to it. All at a fairly reasonable price. I do however, have to agree with other reviewers about staff. Many were lovely and very helpful, some of the dining room staff were downright rude!! Really not necessary and bearing in mind the amount of reviews that mention this, management should really have it sorted by now

We chose this hotel for Versailles, and it's located didn't disappoint. I didn't realise that it was Tour de France weekend and around the hotel would be closed off, but that didn't really impact. What did truly spoil our stay was the fact that the sponsor of the race were in, taking up every ounce of public space (so we couldn't access terraces all through the stay, breakfast room seating, majority of bar seating etc). We had a meal there first night, but as sponsor and coach tours were in and therefore took preferenceof any other guest, our starters stayed on the side for 25 min... our mains when arrived 45min after were cold. We walked away that night and ate elsewhere in Versailles. Next evening the Bar area roped off (again, no outside areas), we felt second class citizens still paying the full price. Zero service, especially during breakfasts when staff were only bothered with the sponsors (again). Breakfast pastries ran out by 9.30 on Sunday, not refreshed. I wouldn't expect this from any 4star anywhere in the world. The room was fine, bit small for 3 of us, the put up bed placed directly to crash into low chandelier. Oh, and a highlight (jokes) was seeing the mice running around the bar area during the evening with people still around! The ONLY saving grace was Oliver the bar man. All other staff just didn't really care, even when a) told them about the mice and b) complained about the meal/ service.

This is a hotel which has been coasting on its "convenience advantage" for too long. It is a reasonable hotel in a great location, with modest and practical provisions; but don't expect much in terms of service, F&B, or overall experience beyond the room. This is a hotel that you book to sleep in. That's about it. The rooms are tired, the gym is a hodgepodge of old equipment and missing pieces and simple housekeeping checks (such as ensuring body wash is topped up) are apparently lacking... we had to wait 30min for housekeeping to replace the soap after discovering it was empty upon check in. I've stayed twice, and will probably stay again, but if I was planning a more hotel/ relaxation focussed trip around Versailles, I would consider other options

This hotel is located in a great location for visiting the centre of Versailles however the service received from staff varies. In one situation the service was exceptional where a staff member went above and beyond my expectations and then in another situation the staff member was very distracted, walked away whilst dealing with my transaction which lead to us leaving the area to be asked to pay at a later stage as I refuse to be kept waiting for no appararent reason. The hotel is generally very nice with great facilities and a luxurious feel. However apart from the location I do not feel completely represents the room rate charged based on the service received and size of the rooms.
