I really enjoyed this hotel, from the moment we arrived. Alix, at the front desk, took very good care of us. We arrived early so had a light lunch at the bar with wine. Our room was ready early and before we finished lunch. We took the nicely sized elevator to our room and the bed made me want to take a nap! It was wider than an American king sized bed. Linens were impeccable and it was oh so comfy. Shower was delightful. Decor gorgeous. Had a very nice breakfast buffet in the morning and were given friendly service. I thought it was an exceptional stay. I'd have gladly stayed another night, but we were on a schedule. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location was perfect for a visit to the castle. The room was very well done and even with a slight heating discrepancy, the staff were proactive in resolving our concern. BUT, the star of the show was the bartender Olivier and his colleagues Alexander and Mamadu. I gave Olivier a challenge to prepare two separate drinks using one of my favorite liquors. He blew means my girlfriend away with his creativity. He was incredibly personable and sincere. Plus the drinks were delicious. I can’t recommend this place enough if you are in Versailles. Ask for Olivier!

5/5 Excellent Stay in the City Center! I had an amazing experience at this 4-star hotel. The location is perfect — right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the Versailles palace, shops, and restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. My room was clean with a very comfortable bed and with everything I needed for a relaxing stay (I especially loved the Clarins toiletries). One of the highlights was the hotel’s spa area: a beautiful hammam, a relaxing sauna, and a well-equipped fitness room. The breakfast buffet was excellent too, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options (several kinds of cereals, various egg dishes, cheeses and cold cuts, sausages, pastries, yogurts, vegetables and fruits, tea, coffee and juices).

3 couples from US - Breakfast (the big option) was amazing, but not necessary if you were only interested in a croissant and coffee. You could walk a few feet/ meters outside, and obtain lighter fare. However, we went all out and went for the breakfast buffet. Beautiful little bar and lounge area. The consierge(s) were wonderful: all warm, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. They assisted with dinner recommendations, reservations, and taxes. The rooms are small (typical for Paris), but well stocked and very clean. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Thank you for a pleasant stay! - Wendy Meehan

I booked this hotel based upon the reviews, and we certainly had a pleasant experience. It is just down the road from the palace - about a 5 minute walk to the palace gates. The hotel itself has a wonderful lobby. The rooms (we had balcony rooms) were typically small but very comfortable. Breakfast options were a 37€ buffet in the hotel dining room and a smaller light breakfast served at the hotel bar. At first, we did not want to go for the breakfast buffet, but then we saw what was offered. Magnificent choices of everything imaginable. |The entire staff of the hotel was friendly and extremely helpful. The consierge(s) made dinner recommendations and reservations for us each night. I highly recommend this hotel.

I have stayed many times at Le Louis, a truly grand hotel in Versailles, right in front of the Chateau. Our last visit was a very special anniversary, and we were given a fine suite. Everything was perfect, from the super-friendly staff at check-in to the beautiful suite. Breakfast was delightful, room service was impeccable, and the special dinner we had in the beautiful L'Alcove restaurant was Michelin quality. Arnaud, the manager, helped us with some special arrangements - Thank You! I recommend this hotel absolutely. It will always be my go-to home away from home in Versailles!

Excellent location near the palace. Concierge helped us with check-in and was incredibly patient. Temporary stopping outside for check-in. Parking is right of hotel and the left set of gates underground. Navigating is tight, spots are limited, spaces are very wide- take your time! All staff are polite, respectful, kind. This is the 4-star service you'd expect and really sets the standard for great service. I met a family at the bar. Thank you John and Becky, we enjoyed your company! Food is extremely delicious, please eat there. The breakfast is the definition of a continental breakfast and worth every penny! Add it to your suite! If we return to Versailles, we will be back! Parking price is extremely reasonable.

My initial booking was upgraded to a suite - very nice and I could check in very early at around 11am which I really enjoyed. Very helpful concierge staff, nice restaurant and the breakfast is like a buffet with all kind of French “goodies”. I really recommend the hotel if you want to have a stress free vacation and just across Louvre 😆 very clean and upgraded rooms , no noisy AC, nice views, and much more- excellent
