Le Louis Versailles Château (Versailles, Île-de-France) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The “Versailles Château” in the hotel’s name is a reference to the neighborhood, not to the famous palace itself — Le Louis Versailles Château Hotel-MGallery is set just ten minutes’ walk from the Palace of Versailles itself, and offers a taste of palatial grandeur on a slightly smaller and more intimate scale. (The last bit of the name signifies that this is part of Accor’s MGallery collection, which combines unique hotel properties with polished, professional service.)" - Tablet Hotels

5/5 Excellent Stay in the City Center! I had an amazing experience at this 4-star hotel. The location is perfect — right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the Versailles palace, shops, and restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. My room was clean with a very comfortable bed and with everything I needed for a relaxing stay (I especially loved the Clarins toiletries). One of the highlights was the hotel’s spa area: a beautiful hammam, a relaxing sauna, and a well-equipped fitness room. The breakfast buffet was excellent too, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options (several kinds of cereals, various egg dishes, cheeses and cold cuts, sausages, pastries, yogurts, vegetables and fruits, tea, coffee and juices).

3 couples from US - Breakfast (the big option) was amazing, but not necessary if you were only interested in a croissant and coffee. You could walk a few feet/ meters outside, and obtain lighter fare. However, we went all out and went for the breakfast buffet. Beautiful little bar and lounge area. The consierge(s) were wonderful: all warm, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. They assisted with dinner recommendations, reservations, and taxes. The rooms are small (typical for Paris), but well stocked and very clean. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Thank you for a pleasant stay! - Wendy Meehan

I have stayed many times at Le Louis, a truly grand hotel in Versailles, right in front of the Chateau. Our last visit was a very special anniversary, and we were given a fine suite. Everything was perfect, from the super-friendly staff at check-in to the beautiful suite. Breakfast was delightful, room service was impeccable, and the special dinner we had in the beautiful L'Alcove restaurant was Michelin quality. Arnaud, the manager, helped us with some special arrangements - Thank You! I recommend this hotel absolutely. It will always be my go-to home away from home in Versailles!

- Excellent location, about 5 minutes walk to the Rive Gauche Versailles train station and less than 10 minutes straight down the street to Versailles. You can see it from the hotel. Safe area and restaurants near by.|- Next door is a small bakery cafe where you can get a coffee and pastry for breakfast or a sandwich for lunch|- Room was very spacious and comfortable with a separate room for the toilet. Clarins bath products and lotion. Padded slippers and robe. Nespresso maker and teas, refrigerator with two Evians. Sofa and desk/chair. |- Nice gym with Hamman steam room, sauna and relaxation padded chairs - free|- Breakfast buffet was about 30 Euros per person|- The gentlemen at the front desk were exceptionally helpful and nice.||Beautiful hotel with an excellent location and staff.

We really enjoyed our 5-night stay here in Versailles – chosen through Tripadvisor reviews and the very close location to Versailles Palace – it is so close and 90 seconds walk from Versailles Chateau.||We had a Superior Room with Balcony overlooking the beautiful former stable block of the palace, so were at the back of the hotel and the room was really quiet. A reviewer had mentioned balconies are not big enough to sit on – they are, although no outside furniture provided, we took the 2 seats from our room outside (sat at an angle) and enjoyed the evening sunshine.||Breakfast each day was excellent – a very good selection of all the usual choices and some local specialities – the hotel was full but it was never chaotic at breakfast. Some things could have been replenished more quickly (hot water flasks for tea etc.) but we weren’t in a rush.||We didn’t eat in the restaurant, which is an open plan area but did have drinks on the lovely outdoor terrace in the sunshine – we had the place to ourselves! There were corporate events / conferences taking place so sometimes the ground floor / Reception was crowded. ||Daily housekeeping is excellent and daily free water provided was very welcomed. ||All in all a really enjoyable stay and would happily go back.

Buffet style breakfast was great. I went with a fairly large group and other meals were rather unimaginative. If you have dietary requirements the meals are not of the same standard. You are made to feel like an inconvenience which is not great in this day and age. The service was very good throughout and those on reception were excellent. Rooms were excellent on arrival the standard that was maintained throughout during my stay. maintained

Hôtel was quite posh downstairs but upstairs was only nice . Managed to get a parking space in the garage - which was a rarity apparently and luckily someone was just leaving. |The room was average sized and the view was good. Had an attic room with a balcony, but wasn’t the type where you could sit outside. Think some of the other rooms without balconies probably had the nicer decoration. |Food and drink prices are ridiculous. The services is slow. We are both gluten intolerant and headed out to try and find somewhere to eat which we couldn’t. We ended up in the hotel. |What a disaster….|We got the Angus steak as only gluten free main we could have. |This was a lump of steak, no sauce and a couple of lettuce leaves for €37 each. No chips or sauce as on the menu as there was no alternative to this that was gluten free, but still charged the same amount of money. This is not acceptable. Service was very slow and it appeared the more money you have the quicker you get served.|I might have been dressed in boohoo men’s clothes but I’m a millionaire and they obviously weren’t aware of this 😂|Waited ages to get some gluten free bread to go with dinner to hopefully fill us up a bit. Got a few bits but no butter. We politely asked the quite miserable looking young girl waitress who said she would get some. She didn’t. Every time we tried to catch her eye she rushed past us, obviously on purpose, and just looked the other way. We gave up in the end and had dry bread. Not what you expect from a (apparently) 4 star hotel! |Oh,and the bottle of Prosecco we had was vastly overpriced but u suppose to be expected. |Breakfast was ok, but after being told most of the full English was gluten free I had to rush to the room and it took us a while to leave 💩|Check in and out was ok. Bathroom shower needs a manual to work it out. |Overall, we were really looking forward to staying here but were left vastly underwhelmed and wishing we had booked somewhere cheaper.

We stayed for one night and were upgraded to the junior suite. We loved the location as it is so close to the gates of Versailles. We enjoyed that our dog could join us too and they had a dog bowl and dog bed in the bedroom on arrival. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and the waiter was great but he was very busy running most tables on his own. He did not seemed to have a lot of help but he did great. The food was delicious. The white wine could have been a little bit cooler but this is my liking. The bar looks incredible and the reception team has been good. There is a car park underneath the hotel and we were lucky to fit our large truck inside but it was tight. The hotel room was very clean and the bed super comfortable. We will be back next year. Thank you very much,
