We stayed here for 3 nights 2nd to 5th May 2025. I thought this was a fabulous little hotel. It was full of lovely quirky rooms scattered throughout this rambling old building. After all those hotels which are nice but just a bit the same, this was the perfect antidote. The staff were lovely, and there was a good French breakfast too. I don't know if life will ever take me back to Brive, but if it does I'll certainly come here again!

Wonderful 3 night stay in this 'boutique hotel' with my sister. Beautifully furnished building ideally placed a short walk from the centre of Brive and the train station. Underground parking. We were warmly welcomed and well looked after by Sophie and by her colleagues. Spacious bedroom, very comfortable bed, generous living area and shower room, with all mod cons. Fantastic breakfast including delicious homemade yoghurts, jams, cakes, freshly squeezed orange juice, and fresh fruit salad, cold meats and cheeses, scrambled eggs, cooked meats, smoked salmon, hardboiled eggs, cereals, viennoiserie, bread, crackers and pancakes... The Spa (although an additional cost) was a special treat and a highlight of our stay. We will definitely be back !

We loved the breakfast area (Good varied breakfast buffet for €15), and the adjacent decking area where we sat out. Our room was inexpensive and had no windows, but was comfortable. Since it was next to the 'beach' area, we sat there for some daylight reading.|The pool is very tiny, so we didn't bother... that wasn't why we booked this hotel! Only 5 mins walk (uphill) from the station, with Europcar hire location 3 mins from the hotel in front of the station. 10 mins walk to the interesting town centre. A pleasant experience for a stopover before moving on.

We stayed one night at Le Miel des Muses on a driving trip through southern France. It was a relaxing and pleasant stop. ||The hotel is in an old building that has been fully remodelled internally.||Our room was generously sized, with a nice sitting area, coffee machine, air con and a good bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. A very pleasant breakfast was served and a large light room where it had the feel of dining communally - very relaxed and friendly. Undercover parking is available for euro10 per day. The Hotel is about 300 metres from the historic part of Brive, so it is ideally located. ||Probably one of the best features of our stay was the friendliness with which we were greeted and subsequently looked after by Sophie— we felt like we were guests in her home! ||A really good option in Brive- recommended |

The property is so unassuming from the outside. You have to buzz a door to get in and enter a corridor to the elevator which takes you up to reception. Then you realize it is really quite large and goes a long way back. The owner and her staff are charming and very helpful. There is a large room for breakfast and a terrace attached to sit on. Our room was very large and the bathroom superb with an excellent rain shower. There is an in-house garage with large spaces and access by lift to the hotel. The owners have the restaurant downstairs (closed Sunday) which is fabulous. Totally funky decor, huge space and great service and food. The whole place is a secret if you just drove by. Brive is a lovely town to visit and more than one day is necessary.

This is a great quirky hotel near the centre of this lovely town. We had a lovely bedroom on the top floor with a huge bath and great shower. The whole place is very well furnished. Breakfast was plentiful and really nice. The lady receptionist was charming. parking under hotel was useful. We ate at the restaurant next door very handy and it had vegetarian options. Great stay.

We used this hotel as a stopover on our way to the south. We usually choose large chain hotels for the security of knowing what we are going to get but this time we decided to be brave and get out of the rut. We were so glad we did the owner was very welcoming and spoke excellent English, she showed us 2 rooms, both were large and had everything you could want. The hotel is in an old converted building and has been done really well and interestingly furnished. Although we had no window in the room we chose it was light and bright also there were no views to miss and soon dark anyway.||It was very quiet which is my major concern when staying anywhere.||We ate in the adjoining restaurant that evening which is also owned by the hotel. The menu was very good and we very much enjoyed our choices. Slow cooked lamb and risotto which were both excellent. It was very busy with locals which is a good indicator of quality.||After a very comfortable night we had one of the most delicious breakfasts that we have had in a long time.||We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone needing accommodation in the area.

Very clean & fresh, huge rooms, great shower & bedding, excellent under cover parking and general facilities. Front desk (and everything else), Christine, could not have been more pleasant & helpful. Attached casual restaurant/wine bar is also very good. All in all, a welcome refuge on a rainy November night.
