"The Hotel Le Morgane is designed to appeal to the skier who likes a bit of fanciness with her freeriding, a little stylish minimalism with his mountaineering. After a full day of frolicking in the Alps, it’s comforting to know you’ve got epicurean meals, all-over spa treatments that stimulate the chakras, and a private terrace overlooking the mountains to come home to." - Tablet Hotels

We recently spent 2 nights at this hotel and loved it. Our room, though rather small, had a balcony with an amazing view of Mont Blanc. The staff is excellent- very efficient, friendly, and professional. The front desk staff was very helpful with all our questions. Breakfast was great too. The hotel is only a couple minutes walk from the gondolas that go to Aiguille du Midi which makes it very convenient to check the weather and make decisions to go up. The location made it possible for us to do that. Had we been further away from the gondolas, with our limited time, we probably would not have made it up to catch views of Mont Blanc. The hotel is also just minutes away from the train station and the main street with all the restaurants, etc. I just wish the hotel didn't feel so American (music playing, etc), but rather had more of a feel of the local culture.

An excellent location in Chamonix. Very close to the central shopping street and cable car. The staff here were wonderful and very helpful. The breakfast was of a good quality even if it felt expensive. We enjoyed the balconyI in room and the rooftop terrace. Sadly the bed was very worn and created constantly. It probably needs a replacing. The elevator and carpet were also very tired. We did however love the spa!Overall, this is a very good option if you're staying in Chamonix.

This hotel is a huge disappointment. Overpriced for what you actually get. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work. Our “bed” was just two old twin mattresses pushed together—uncomfortable and squeaky. The shower drain was clogged, half the lights in the room didn’t work, and the spa was dirty and nothing like the photos. The hallways are dirty, carpet stained. Stay somewhere else. Do not let the website photos mislead you.

We stayed here after my boyfriend became ill on the TMB. The room, staff, and location were amazing. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The location was right in the town and also close to the bus station. The room was spacious with a balcony where we could dry our wet shoes. Everything about it was amazing and we felt so lucky to have found it! Highly recommend.

The rooms were clean, the staff wonderful, the food terrific, and the location perfect. The only issue we faced was that we had a balcony in our room, and the room next to ours smoked constantly, and the smell came into our room all day long. There was no air conditioning, so we needed to keep our balcony room open to get a breeze.||We spoke to the manager, and she informed us that the hotel policy allowed balcony smoking because this was not considered part of the room.

Our stay was really great – and I owe it almost entirely to the staff at this hotel. Weeks before we even got there their excellent customer service was shining through. We were going to celebrate our 25th anniversary while visiting and were trying to make a restaurant booking. I can’t even tell you how many emails went back and forth to make this happen (this time of year some restaurants were still not open). Upon arrival, the man who checked us in remembered that we had still not resolved it, and asked if he could make the booking for us. They told the restaurant that it was our anniversary which resulted in being recognized with music and sparklers after we ate. Another way that the staff went above and beyond was in regards to our laundry: we had just come from an 8 day cruise and desperately needed to do laundry. The first morning, we went to the laundromat around the corner and they were closed for renovations. When we came back to the hotel and told them our dilemma, they told us to leave the laundry with them and they would figure out a way to have it done for us. I’m not sure who did our laundry, but a few hours later, someone delivered it to our room washed and folded. When we were debating whether to go to the Aiguille du Midi, they watched the weather for us, and gave advice when to go up. Right there in their lobby there’s a machine where you can buy tickets! Daniela even helped me with this. When we returned, they were so excited that we’d had nice weather. Daniela and another young lady (Mathilde?) just always went above and beyond to be kind and help us with all our needs. Now on to the other aspects we liked about the hotel: it's perfectly situated in Chamonix. We had beautiful views of Mont Blanc. The windows block a ton of sound. Even if you need to open the window, we weren’t too disturbed by street noise. The hotel is within a block of many restaurants. In addition, the city center is just a 5 minute walk away. The train station is less than 10 minutes walking (where you can catch the train to Montenvers, too). The Flixbus stop was even closer than that. Aiguille du Midi was less than a 5 minute walk. We got a good deal on breakfast when we booked our room, and I’m so glad we did. It was wonderful. Tons of fresh bread and pastries, meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals, yogurts, juices, etc. And they will make you espresso drinks for free. They also offer omelets at a small cost. We took advantage of the free spa areas and had them to ourselves! The pool was pretty and we had it to ourselves. My husband loved the steam room. When we left, they gave us a gift of dark chocolate and it was DELICIOUS! A nice little parting gift.|If we ever find ourselves in Chamonix, we would stay here again!

The hotel location is perfect! Close to everything and yet is a quieter part of all the actions. The suite is big for family of 4, clean, and breakfast is really good. only downside no a/c that’s because usually they don’t get too hot in the summer.

Very nice boutique hotel in the center of Chamonix. walking distance to all the shops. restaurants and cafes and bars. They have a shuttle to 2 of the mountains, otherwise it is a 4 minute walk to get one of the free buses that takes you to the mountain. The staff are amazing in my humble opinion. They give great advice, are very welcoming and every day at breakfast they are happy to accommodate you. They have a great restaurant on site called Comptoir des Alpes. The room is clean and comfortable and modern. It could use a few touch ups but it is a good size for 2 people with a nice view of the mountain. The sap is ok. Not one of the best ones that I have had at hotel at a ski resort but we managed. If you like a wet steam then do not choose this hotel. (No steam and cold) The dry sauna works very well and the pool has massage jets when functioning are very good.

Yelp
I held back a star simply because the suite was very small and when we are there to ski we had 4 big bags which don't fit anywhere. However the hotel is wonderful and its staff were amazing. We loved the boutique vibe, the decor and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast every morning was the same, but a nice variety. The bar/lounge area was comfortable and there were nice apre ski snacks every day. There is a car shuttle which they will use to take you to the bus stop, dinner or into town (though town is literally 3 minutes from the hotel.) My only suggestion would be to have a ski shuttle which could take guests to the various mountains--La Tour is a 40 minute bus ride and its an 8 minute walk to the bus stop with your skis, boots etc. Overall, a lovely hotel in a good location.

Yelp
After a horrific Airbnb experience, this was like finding a Four Seasons. Joyce was an outstanding reception guide and everything about our welcome was beyond professional and helpful. They staff speak fantastic English and they are very friendly. The decor is impressive, a chic-modern luxury lodge scattered with fur rugs and cozy throw blankets in the middle of the Chamonix valley. We got a suite and it was marvelous. White robes and slippers awaited us on the bed. Had a very comfy queen bed and we could see the Alps directly from our bed. We had a wrap around patio with a view of Mont Blanc as well. We visited in October and the weather was just perfect. The hotel provides a complimentary Turkish bath and spa area with additional spa treatments for sale. We used the Turkish bath and it was amazing. We relaxed in the common room with tea and lounged in the lush robes. Definitely get the continental breakfast along with your room. I believe it's 15 euros. It is a feast and nothing like American versions of continental breakfasts! The spread is amazing. Eggs, bacon, ham, three types of fresh bread and all sorts of toppings, all sorts of pastries, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, yogurt, granola, etc. Coffee, orange juice, sparkling water, etc. We stayed for three days and would definitely stay here again. The prices are better than other hotels/lodges in the city, and FAR nicer and more modern.

Yelp
Nice classy hotel in Chamonix. It is very well located, close the main street and the Chamonix South bus station. The rooms are nice, wife, cable TV, mini bar. It is quiet and the beds are great. Each room has its little balcony, great for having a drink at the end of the day. Breakfast buffet is good, large choice, home made gelly... There is a spa, with a large variety of massage and treatments.
