Hôtel Le Pic Blanc

We stayed here for February half term as a family of 4 (kids aged 11 and 9). The hotel was in a great location, just a short walk away from 3 of the main ski lifts. The room was a little on the small side and a family suite would have been more appropriate but that said we spent very little time in the room and the beds were very comfortable, there was good storage space and the water pressure in the shower was good. Breakfast was excellent every morning and provided everything you could possibly want. We didn’t eat in the restaurant as we explored the town each night but the bar was pleasant and there was a nice touch of a sweet treat and soft drinks every afternoon from 4pm. Would definitely recommend if you’re travelling to Alpe d’Huez

Excellent employees and service but very expensive for the quality of the room and some amenities. The included breakfast was very nice. €20 euro to use the jacuzzi is quite high and should be included in the price. The pool needs cleaning and maintenance. At over €400 per night I would expect better quality. Great location just a short walk from the lifts / restaurants / shopping. Overall a nice place. The TV was not a smart TV so when relaxing at night after skiing all day you couldn’t queue up a movie. Not a big deal but would have been a nice touch. I’d stay again but hopefully get a better rate next time.

Well kept hotel with excellent service. Suited our family very well. Good breakfast and great cocktails! Clean and presentable. Outlook of mountain view great, car park view not very appealing. Walk to ski lifts manageable.

We chose this hotel for a 6-day ski holiday. We were really pleased. Even the 5 points I gave for the attention of the reception staff would not be enough. They deserve more. They did everything they could to please us. The cocktails were incredibly delicious. The waiters were very attentive and helpful. I would like to thank the hotel staff very much. The hotel management has created a very, very successful staff. We had a set menu dinner at the hotel for 2 days. The food was incredibly delicious. I would like to thank the chef here. I strongly recommend it to everyone. There is no chance that you will leave this hotel satisfied.

Very well located, ~5 min walk from Marmottes 1 lift (access to Pic Blanc) - staff very friendly. Remember to book in advance for the spa as spaces are limited. Nice view of the mountains from room balcony, could do with more hooks for hanging in the room and drying space for ski gear. Useful that you can store ski boots and skis directly in the hotel in a private locker

Extremely poor service trying to book over the phone. I received radically different quotes for a room between 9pm and 11.30pm as I was trying to align a stopover hotel on route. I received a fair room quote for a family of 4 at 9pm and when i called back later to confirm the booking, a different employee answered the service desk and was rude, gave a ridiculous room price compared to the original and hung up on me twice when I tried to call back. We changed our plans and went somewhere else last minute. Pitty as we were looking forward to it.

Stayed for 4 nights and had wonderful stay! The location is absolutely ideal and central to eveything. ||Used the spa facilities which was just what was needed after a days skiing. ||The beds are so comfy - one of the best I have had at hotels in fact!||The only slight negative was that breakfast isn’t great - but to be honest it’s not worse that’s most other places I’ve been, just not great either. ||But overall I thought it’s a lovely hotel and I would definitely be back!!

Superb hotel that is very modern. The hotel has great amenities including a spa, restaurant and ski boot room. The rooms were very modern, clean and comfortable. We had a balcony that had amazing views of the mountains and ski resort. Great selection at breakfast which includes booth cooked breakfast and cold meats, cheese and pastries. Unfortunately the only negative comment I have is that the rooms were very noisy due to outside noise from the car park that is not reduced by the windows/ balcony door. We found that this woke us up on numerous occasions leading to broken sleep, even though the room was very comfortable.

Bad food bad service. My room had a broken shower that I had to fix myself because they didn't have staff to fix it. Would never recommend staying here. Also the manager is very rude and uncaring.
