Hotel Le Place d'Armes

The location is perfectly in the middle of the city. Despite being located on a busy plaza, the room was really quiet. The layout of the hotel is quite difficult to follow first time around, thankfully I was welcomed all the way to my room. It might be a little bit difficult for older or disabled people as there are a lot of stairs. The room was big and clean. Bottles of water get refilled each day. What I liked specifically is that there were no aromatisation devices/items, some hotels do and it usually flares up my allergies. The staff is pleasant and courteous. Didn’t have my breakfasts in the hotel, so don’t have an opinion about that. The restaurant is more on expensive side, the menu is very not extensive, but interesting. The cocktails in the bar are very artistic, much to my taste

Truly one of the most amazing hotel experiences I’ve ever had-was upgraded to a breathtakingly stunning room with incredible amenities (ask for room 38!). The staff is kind and knowledgeable-Sebastian at the bar was incredible and really added to the charm of my stay. The bathtub is huge and luxurious, the environment is gorgeous and even better-you walk outside and you’re in Lux !!! 10/10, would book again!

We had a phenomenal stay for several nights at the end of May, and truly appreciated the care and attention to detail of the staff. Our room was well-appointed, the hotel itself is steeped in character, and having a bar, two restaurants, and occasion rooftop patio provides numerous options for dining on-site. The high ratings and reputation are well-earned.

Exceptional service, quiet rooms, nice little touches, and well located near everything. Stayed in #30, forward facing, top floor with the pitched ceiling and exposed whitewashed beams. Emily was an intern working the desk and was sweet and thoughtful. The gentlemen at the desk and restaurant were great too!

Great hotel in a fantastic location in the main square with very welcoming and helpful staff. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the breakfasts were very good. The building has been converted very well ensuring the character has been maintained. The bar, champagne roof terrace and restaurant are also very nice. Highly recommended.

The service was amazing, the room was large, and you could not have asked for a better location. Breakfast was a lovely spread and you could have an omelette on request. Our stay included a tea service which was lovely as well. To be honest, their restaurant was one of the better meals that we had on the trip.

The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The hotel was beautiful and very comfortable with every room amenity one could want . The restaurants and bar were well staffed and served delicious foods and beverages. The location of the hotel is perfect to enjoy the city. We would highly recommend
