Best hotel Ive stayed in! Very nice staff member named Charles! He is very sweet and knowledgeable at the front desk! Very nice Breakfast! Rooms are nice and cozy! I stayed in the suite with my family and watched Ratatouille. There is metro and Grocery store down the street.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were welcoming and helpful from the start. Our flight arrived early in the morning, well before check-in, but they let us store our luggage right away so we could explore the neighborhood. As soon as our room was ready, they checked us in and had already placed our bags inside, which was really thoughtful. The location is great. The neighborhood is lively but quiet, with plenty of good food nearby and easy access to several metro lines. Getting around Paris, including trips to places like Gare de l’Est, was very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a good amount of space. The bed was especially comfortable, which made it easy to rest after long days out. The bathroom was clean and well equipped, and the provided slippers were a nice touch. We also found a note and a piece of chocolate in the room when we arrived, which made us feel welcomed. The small details were appreciated, like umbrellas available both in the room and in the lobby. The lobby and lounge areas also have a calm, cozy vibe where you can sit and relax. One thing to keep in mind is that hallway noise can be easy to hear from inside the room when people are talking or rolling their suitcases. We enjoyed our time here and would gladly return, or recommend it to people who want a quiet, walkable neighborhood close to everything.

Very pleasant stay. Our room was spacious with a little balcony with everything needed. Staff were all friendly with a special mention for Maëlys who handled all our request with a smile and also Charles. Quite street in a very practical neighborhood with 3 métro lines access nearby.

Paris in chilly November is just heaven! My husband, son, and I stayed at this quaint, warm, and Paris Perfect hotel, Le Six! The location was perfect for us in looking for a more "local" vibe in Saint Germain - 6th arr. We were able to walk the entire city from this hotel and took a cab to the soccer match, easy peasy and affordable! |Now, about the team at Le Six - Charles was excellent! He welcomed us, checked us in, made sure our room was comfortable, and offered assistance as a friend would. We had such a lovely stay in Paris, and a big part of that was because of Charles and the other colleagues at Le Six!

This was our second stay at L'Hotel le Six. It is in the heart of Montparnasse and around the corner from 3 metro lines and a few blocks from a train station. I contacted the hotel in advance to ask for some advice on a hotel in Avignon. The staff were very quick to respond and helpful with all of my questions. Unfortunately the morning we arrived the hotel was busy and they were not able to accommodate an early check in. However, the staff were very apologetic and helpful. The hotel accommodated our request for the same room we had on our previous visit 8 years ago. The room overlooked the street and had two tiny balconies. We arranged to have breakfast each morning at the hotel. The breakfast has a buffet with fresh bread, pastries, eggs, sausage, ham and potatoes. Additionally cereals, fruit, nuts, cheeses, sliced meats and freshly squeezed juices are available. The staff are extremely efficient and make sure the restaurant stays clean and the items are replenished quickly. The staff make the most wonderful cappuccinos and were excellent at noticing if we needed a refill. Monsieur Charles was at the front desk most days of our stay. He was incredibly professional and welcoming. He was very helpful when we had questions about the best way to get passes for the metro and agreed the online price was ridiculously high. He had great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. I tried to book the Notre Dame Tour (a separate tour which goes up the towers and tickets must be bought in advance on line); however, I was extremely frustrated with the website. Monsieur Charles confirmed I was on the correct site but suggested on try at odd hours due to the high volume of internet traffic. Monsieur Charlies is a true credit to Hotel le Six. He was wonderful in arranging our taxi for the train station and another taxi for an early trip to the airport. Another staff member to mention is Madame Maylis. She worked the front counter on many days and evenings during our stay. She was very upbeat and professional. She was always quick to assist. I would go down to the front counter to refill out water bottle and get an additional bottle of sparkling water, which they provide free of charge from behind the bar. We will always stay at Hotel le Six when we visit Paris.

We had the best stay at Le Six! Everything was perfect - the rooms, the service, and the location! Manus and Charles were exceptionally helpful and friendly with wonderful recommendations. The location is very close to the Vavin Metro station, so it's very easy to get around. 100% recommend!

Just got back from 4 day trip to Paris. The hotel, staff was very accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. Charles and all the front desk staff were terrific. Rooms were very clean, location very safe , great neighborhood and near all the metro stations. Enjoyed the feel of a small boutique hotel, they value their guests. Would highly recommended

I was very particular about choosing the right hotel for our stay, especially because it was my wife’s birthday and I wanted everything to be perfect. I spent a lot of time searching through different options on Google, and I’m truly happy that I chose this hotel.||The property was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and located in a beautiful area. It was also conveniently close to bars, great restaurants, and everything we needed for a perfect stay.||The reception team was outstanding—professional, warm, and always ready to help. I would like to give special thanks to Charles, who was incredibly kind and supportive throughout our stay. Their assistance made our experience even more memorable.||I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return in the future.

Yelp
Beautifully decorated hotel with higher end toiletry items from L'occitane. It is located in a quieter backstreet so minimal noise during the night. The staff are friendly and the check in process is easy. The rooms are not the largest, but there is space to walk around so I'd say they're decent sized for European standards. The breakfast buffet is extensive. Overall I had a great stay here and would come back.

Yelp
Had a fantastic stay here in April. Brought our toddler and they were soo kind to her. Super clean, spacious rooms, and awesome location. A little bit of a trek to the major sites with a toddler but the neighborhood was phenomenal. We dined locally every night and every restaurant exceeded expectations. We loved having the wine shop down the street and a playground one block away. We also appreciated the proximity to the garden Luxembourg. The hotel itself is impeccably clean with friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Yelp
The staff at Hotel Le Six made our stay an incredible one. They were so gracious and hospitable I was almost shocked. The breakfast was excellent each morning and rooms were small (per the usual in Paris as opposed to other cities), but very well appointed. Would highly recommend and we will be back to stay here again.

Yelp
Hotel le Six offers a great location and amazing staff. The location was convenient to the Metro, attractions and lots of eating establishments. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful with directions, suggested restaurants, and even -- because we were on an extended European tour -- nearby wash and fold services. They even taught me a few essential French phrases! The room was quiet and the bed provided a great night's sleep. I cannot say enough great things about this establishment. When I return to Paris next year, I already know where I'll be staying: Hotel le Six.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel very clean. Front desk to house keeping personnel are so nice and friendly. I have to mention Joseph, front desk guy he was very pleasant. Actually all of them unfortunately I was able to get the names of the 2 other guys. Overall I can't find anything negative. Please to stay in Paris.

Yelp
From the moment I walked in - heaven. Spa within the hotel. Breakfast included and the staff was like family. Treated like a star!! Definitely would come back. Located near the best trains and not too far from main attractions for a quick 20-30 minute walk!

Yelp
Just finished a fantastic family Paris vacation staying at le Six. Fist the location can not be beat. A small quiet side street just a short walk to Luxembourg gardens, so many great bistro neighborhoods and multiple metro lines. We even walked to the Louvre,Latin Quarter and the catacombs. We had 8 of us and many moving parts. Alex and Martin at the front desk could not have been nicer and more accommodating to our every need. These guys really hustle to meet every need. Rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast superb. We will be back.

Yelp
This has truly been the best hotel stay I've ever had! Large, quiet rooms, in-room safe, tea kettle, and ESPRESSO MACHINES! They even include robes and slippers...oh, there's a complaint...the slippers are too small for my big American feet. Also in the rooms are cell phones for the guests' to use for google maps, surf the web, or to make phone calls even back to the U.S. free of charge! The water heats up instantly and water pressure is great allowing for quick but thorough showers. The AC works great. Everything is clean and modern. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. And they even throw in a decent continental breakfast. I wish I could give even more stars!!!!

Yelp
We stayed for four nights with the family. The staff was always friendly and made great suggestions for dinner. The bar in the lobby is handy for a quick drink. The rooms were clean and had above average space in the bathroom. We plan on staying here when we return to Paris.

Yelp
We very much enjoyed Le Hotel Six. Our room was spacious for European standards. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. The location is great, it's just steps away from many great stores and restaurants yet far enough away that you don't get all of the noise. I look forward to staying here again!! Visited March 2016

Yelp
Excellent location in Paris. In close proximity to lots of coffee shops, Boulangeries, Brasseries, and Bistros. 2 Metro stops are within two blocks of the hotel as well. A beautiful park with the Museum Luxemborg is a 5 min walk from the Hotel as well. Truly a wonderful location. The hotel itself is very comfortable and clean. We stayed in the basic room, which surprisingly had plenty of closet space. The rooms have wood floors as well, which makes for a nice change from nasty carpets you see in a lot of places. Th bathroom may have been the biggest surprise. The hotel decided to ditch the bath, because in many hotels they aren't very large, and instead went with a good sized walk in shower with a large shower head. They also had a heated towel rack (definitely getting this for my home bathroom because it was just sensational). The bed was super comfy and had good pillows also. This is key when traveling! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made dinner reservations for us when we emailed them, and also provided easy to understand directions from Charles De Gaul Airport to the hotel. The hotel had a nice little bar which we never sampled, but all three nights when we came back, they had live music playing there. They also serve a traditional breakfast for those people unwilling to be adventurous (but i wouldn't waste 22 euros on it when you can get a croissant and an espresso for 3 euro around the corner). Lastly, they advertise a workout room, but all it really is are three machines tucked into a corner with a TV. If this is important to you, it will be a let down. All in all we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Le Six. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Yelp
What a fantastic hotel. Great location. Terrific rooms. It's comfortable and cozy and feels modern without being absurd. Alex at the front desk is a wonderful host. Everyone speaks English. Super comfortable mattress. Great hot water and shower heads. Delicious breakfast. Specific and delicious room service. Great free Wi-Fi. Walking distance to so many excellent restaurants. A quiet street. A comfortable small sitting area downstairs. I highly recommend Hotel Le Six.

Yelp
Conveniently located and comfortable. We found the staff to be extremely helpful. One evening we walked through the front door with a chicken dish we bought at the supermarket, and the concierge immediately ran to get us silverware & plates. Talk about service! We found the rooms comfortable and well-appointed. Also, the tub is heavenly.

Yelp
We stayed in this hotel for one week. 1) Front desk staff team were absolutely fantastic; great attitude very helpful in making recommendations on where to go; restaurants, places to see.... They made our trip so pleasant; next time we go we are definitely staying in this hotel again. 2) Hotel is close to almost any where you want to go and just 2 to 3 minutes from Metro 3) Our room was very comfortable and we had all the accomudation that we needed including a Nesspresso machine in our room. Loved it 4) They even gave us a Mobile phone with a local number to use during our stay. There is really nothing that I can complain about this hotel. AGAIN THE BEST FRONT DESK TEAM. Thank you for making our vacation so pleasant.

Yelp
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and we can't recommend it highly enough. Amazingly friendly and attentive staff. Nice quiet neighborhood, beautifully furnished and comfortable. Boutique but the feeling of a high end hotel. Nice breakfast every morning in lobby breakfast area. They provided champagne in ice waiting in our room on my husband's birthday. Next Paris trip, I will definetely book thisnhotel ag

Yelp
A very nice hotel in St. Germain. Decent size rooms and beds (from an American girl used to deluxe accommodations!), close to Metro and eateries (cafes and brasseries), chic, clean and bright, nice lobby with hotel bar, Juliette balconies in select rooms, free hammamm (steam bath only, not the massage) which is a nice perk and full-service spa. Free wi-fi too! The staff was friendly, but they don't all speak English which can be hard for Americans looking for recommendations for tours, sights, restaurants and directions. They don't have a dedicated concierge which was displeasing. Found the evening staff to be much more knowledgeable, willing and capable of helping us in these areas than the day staff. While the hotel is in St. Germain, it's in a more remote location. It's further from the river than a map suggests and definitely at least a 20-30 minute walk to some of the most desired sightseeing locations. It's not far from night time hot spots and good restaurants though if you're up for the walk. Other things to keep in mind - while on a small, less crowded street than other boutique hotels in Paris, many cab drivers didn't know where Rue Stanislas was, so know a side street like Montparnasse to avoid being asked where the hell you're really going. Also, if you have a room facing Stanislas, beware of the garbage trucks that come every single day around the 7:30am hour that will certainly disrupt your sleep.

Yelp
Very helpful and hospitable staff. After landing early they checked us in much earlier than was advertised allowing us to recharge before getting on with our day. All of the staff went out of their way to make sure we were never wanting of anything. Highly recommend.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed at Hotel Le Six while in Paris in November. The staff was exceptional, the room was surprisingly large, and the hotel was in a great location. We arrived on a rainy day around 10:30am Paris-time. We were exhausted and our French is awful. The front-desk (Teresa) brought us espresso and managed to get our room ready in time for a quick nap, this was everything two bedraggled travelers needed. Throughout our stay we found the staff helpful without ever being intrusive. Everyone at the front-desk speaks flawless English. They opened Paris for us: showed us where to find an interesting market, or a drink, or a bite to eat. They were absolutely tremendous and in many respects, made our stay in the city. Our room was bright and (by the standard of Parisian hotels) quite large. The mattress was firm and the linens soft. The hotel is a short walk from the Seine and the Luxembourg Gardens, around the corner from the Boulevard Montparnasse. It is tucked away on a quiet street, noise was never a problem. On Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday there are markets just around the corner. We cannot recommend Hotel Le Six highly enough.

Yelp
It's A-OK. I was a bit disappointed that Le Six is so highly rated since I used the ratings to make my decision to stay there. Here is the truth....... The hotel is nice. Very clean. The rooms are absolutely minuscule. The bathroom is very clean and modern. The room is incredibly small. If you plan to be in Paris for 4 or more days and like to unpack clothes, this is not the right place for you. There is no dresser. There are no shelves. Nothing. A bed and a tiny desk. Those are the facts. The service is very good. Everyone is very friendly. It's definitely a good hotel. It's just not quite the 4 or 5 star place Yelp and Trip Adviser suggest it is.

Lindsey K.

Yelp
Stayed here for a night in December to celebrate my husband's birthday. We completely loved it - if only we could have stayed longer! We stayed in a deluxe room on the top floor. The room was spacious, modern and had vaulted ceilings and two little balconies. The bathroom was beautiful - huge walk in shower and a tub under a skylight. The concierge was very nice and helpful. The king bed was comfortable and a great change to the small bed we usually share! We both slept well and had massages in the Six Spa the next morning. Superb. I've seen much smaller hotel rooms for the same price - so this was a great find!

Yelp
Angela is a wonderful Guest Relations host at Le Hotel Six. I called at 10:15 and she was able to book me for an AMAZING 60 minute massage. The massage was well worth 100 euro and I can't say enough about their team. I was very happy with the massage as well as the steam and shower after. This hotel knows how to treat their guests and it is well appreciated. They offered me tea in their resting area after and it was pure bliss and enjoyment. A perfect escape from the city when you are looking for a quiet place to rest while traveling. Thank you so much to their team for fitting me in at the last minute and getting me through this cold I suffered from. Merci Merci Merci!!

Yelp
Talk about first impressions! When I checked in I asked if they could help get me a reservation at Paris's most sought after restaurant at the top of the Eiffel Tower. I was aware that it was a 6 month wait but thought I'd ask. Within 5 mi minutes they had a reservation for the same day! Besides that the hotel is beautiful, clean & spacious! *Edited to add- stayed here 5 days & couldn't be happier. The staff goes above & beyond for everyone! The rooms are immaculately cleaned every day. It's not centrally located to all the major attractions but I chose this hotel because I like to walk everywhere while on vacation. I highly recommend this hotel!

Yelp
Quiet spot with nice rooms. Excellent front desk is extremely helpful. Good quality amenities, an excellent location between metro stops: Vavin, and Notre Dame des Champs. Very nice restaurants and cafes all around this block. A good place to stay. Note, if you book via booking.com, breakfast is not included. Have to use the hotel website for that. Recommended.

Yelp
Great boutique hotel. Fantastically helpful and friendly staff. No problems with language. The lounge is comfortable so that you don't feel confined to your room while winding down at the end of the day. 3 minutes walk to the metro. It is technically in the St Germain but far closer to Montparnasse
google avatar

Eric M.

Yelp
Excellent service from the entire hotel staff. Very helpful with finding your way around Paris. Room size was a bit small compared to hotels in the U.S. but it was comfortable enough. Free breakfast was provided everyday at the cafe downstairs and it was delicious. Also included complementary use of the sauna room at the spa. Within walking distance to all of the fine restaurants in the city. Will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
My mother, sister, and I stayed here just this past week. We enjoyed it for it was quiet (for the most part) and comfy. Let me just start out by saying. If this is your first time in Paris or France, this isn't the most optimal choice. However if you have been to Paris multiple times it is very very pleasant. I only say this because it's not really near anything and the small streets can get you a bit confused. And because their staff doesn't speak English all that great (which isn't bad) so they can't give you the best directions to places. So for the most part we were taking taxis a lot of places which sort of took away from the experience. The break fast is also really expensive, so I would say just go to a shop. The pros. It's a very comfy hotel, and you get the luxury of not being in a multi-billion dollar corporation hotel. So you get a very authentic homie feeling when staying here. It's a very very clean hotel which is what I look and criticize most. Staff is friendly (could be a bit friendlier to Americans). But over all it's a great hotel if you're looking for an authentic stay.

Elizabeth K.

Yelp
A classy gem of a boutique hotel. Room had gorgeous natural light plus a terrace (room 405). Exceedingly comfortable king size bed with fine linens. Staff exceptionally friendly and accommodating. English and Italian fluent as well as French, which helped make us feel welcome. Breakfast spread delicious. Bar service delightful. Hotel is convenient to two metro lines and steps from Luxembourg park, with a dozen or more delightful cafes and restaurants within 2 block radius. Returning to the hotel every night felt like coming home. We will be back.
